The game has one serious balance flaw: enemies enter the screen about 3-4 at a time while your troops only walk in a single file. This takes any kind of strategy away from the game since enemies will just form a giant wall of death while your soldiers march in and get slaughtered unless you manage to retreat them in time.
So later battles just amount to building up enough gold to hire 16 axemen, send them to die, repeat until enemies run out of soldiers.

how to beat this game in the beginning spam the cheapest units and use lightning and tsunami as soon as you use them too retreat all. continue to the end no need to do anything else

no slow button to manage trying to micro manage retreat. easy game.... no real stretagy.... acts of god basically is the strat...throwing money at training troops is worthless they just die anyway

it was a fun game. but abit to short and really no challenge since you could retreat and it had no negative effect other than a new day expired. And the tsunami and tornado was pretty much useless.
other than that. fun game:) 4/5

I notice the comments saying that the manual retreat and manual acts of gods are "bad" I think if it were not that way the game would be too easy. For me it makes me feel more hurried more like I am in a fray plus only two of em are manual the other 3 are press and forget.

out of 5 spells 2 were useless. tornado was aim with mouse but at same time you need your troops to retreat and also it does very poor damage, meteor was just awful it goes randomly anyway on screen but usually stays on my side of the field mostly.

When I told my archers to run away from the catapult rocks the rocks were HOMING ROCKS! It actually followed my archers, or at least tried to (the rocks missed)

The level of micromanagement in this game is stupid. There are some things that people enjoy having the option to do; things such as individual troop healing and individual overworking for workers however are not. And whos bright idea was it to make workers lose health? It costs absolutely nothing to heal them making it literally just an annoyance. So close to a good game but it just has these silly little parts to it.

You should actually make it so you can go do other things while actually not in the tab. The game freezes when you're out of the tab.

Not a bad game. Would be nice to have an auto-retreat after getting level 4 barracks. Overwork all miners button is needed as well. Other than that, nice little game.

Too much micromanagement required with the retreat system. Should have some form of option to say "auto-retreat units under X hp"

Upgrade system needs some sort of work. "Yeah, you can now get archers! But you can't actually hire any until you beat another level"
