I just updated my rating to five stars. This is a great little adventure game, and quite the breath of fresh air for those of us who miss the days when games didn't have to have leveling, upgrades and endless lists of achievements.

You should be able to control how high you jump and maybe make wall jumping less "accidental." This is a great game, however, and does deserve badges.

It is possible to miss a key permanently. There is at least 1 locked door which if you don't open it and get the key within, and use that key elsewhere, you will never be able to get the key achievement without starting over.

4/5 and no more because the movement, control and speed of the character are very hard and uncomfortable.
Ah, the moving platforms on the lava zone are discordinated enough to be insanely hard.
Nice game anyways.

An exercise in frustration. Everything seems too small, and the control response is "off" compared to most other side scrollers - it's almost like there are variable delays before the movement kicks in. This makes it very hard to time your jumps in the later maps. I gave up trying because it just wasn't fun.

Nice game, but the idea isn't very creative an also the hitbox is larger than your character. Sometimes I'm standing on a ledge and something whizzes past me and I have to start all over. 4/5.

I can't even count the number of times I've died due to the wall jump. I can be sitting on the ground next to a wall and my character will think "Yeah, let's kill myself."

TaintedDeity, I don't think it's because of the game. Try tapping that arrow key a couple of times and it should get fixed.

A ver annoying bug in the controls: Key presses remain on and so the character will frequently carry on unning after I've let go and splat dead.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like it a lot.
The game has a pretty steep learning curve, but that's alright, and it stays challenging allthroughout the game (those damn lava fountains at the end drove me crazy until I figured it out :D).

I really enjoy this game and gave it 5/5, but I have a minor quibble. In Sandstone Chamber, you need to turn off the minimap to avoid dying at the very beginning. But each time I die, the minimap is turned back on. It would be nice if the game rememebered whether or not the minimap was turned on or off throughout the game.

I'm enjoying this so far, just noticed a slight visual bug -- when you enter the Winding Tunnels from the Twisting Way, the screen begins panned far to the right so you can see the "void" behind you, and then quickly pans to the correct position.

Just wanted to write in: WasabiProject, could you please add a mute button for the music? Or is there a key that I missed?

kay... I'm gonna go ahead and call this Ragequit: The Game. I absolutely LOVE exploratory platformers, Within A Dark Forest and Knytt being some of my faves. This game absolutely does insult to them. With insta deaths coming from tight jumps to the point that I don't know when I'm doing it wrong, or if I just suck! I hate it when games get this testy! I want to love it, but I can't!

Excellent game. Just what it should be! Pure exploration and platforming. Doesn't get distracted with "U gots lazorz!" and "Now u gots biggar lazorz!" Beautiful and simple. Easily earns a 5/5!

Very fun game but the controls can be infuriating sometimes. Some areas require you to be pixel perfect in your movements to avoid spikes, fireballs, etc. but you are hindered by slightly laggy and inconsistent movement. Tapping lightly to go forward will sometimes move you ahead a little then the next tap moves you nearly twice as far and often kills you.

Found a bad glitch. I fell off one of the circling platforms while trying to get the 3rd or 4th rune (its the one in the slime room). I didn't die when I fell in the slime, and it moved my exploration % from somewhere in the 80's to 100%. Love the game, but this sucks.

5/5. Challenging, but not too frustrating. 3+ hours of gameplay for me--which is excellent for a flash game. Great plot, wonderful delivery and an ending even I couldn't predict. Even the music was catchy. What more could be said?

Easily the best wall jump in any platform I've played. I just got the 4th rune and I had to give up on teh final rooms. 50 spike balls per room tends to give one a headache.

gotta love this metroid style exploring-games. though, respawning at the cave entrances is really annoying. i'd rather have 3 or so hitpoints before you respawn.
anyway 4/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Way to hard, you should have lives of some sort, or energy. or more savepoints, not only the cave entrances. My keyboard is already short of one key (RETURN ;)) and I only have one spare...

wall jumping still needs fixing. fix it so that pressing up wont make you fall. its too instinctive to want to press up while walljumping so please fix this quickly.

wow just plain wow very nice idea to those complaining about getting the keys and tablets and getting out alive. get the tablet and hold m transports you back, yes you do have to backtrack to keep up but makes it very convenient not to get killed and have to do it again :) 5/5 great job keep it up will we see a sequel???

Was pretty unhappy about the various "get key/rune and *pray* you get out alive" rooms until I remembered that "c" warps you to the entrance/other gates... and saves your game, too. Makes the game much more fun, that way.

PsshDavid et al. Remember you can always teleport back to the beginning (with C, I think). So if you get in and don't want to have to get out, just teleport.

I give it a 5 great game, I just had on problem with it, the pop up messages were kind of annoying. Maybe if you make the trigger area smaller....?
