Good idea, but poor execution. Moving and attacking seems really buggy. Sometimes my turn would just end instead of doing anything.

Great game, but it BADLY needs a savegame feature. It's a royal pain in the backside to have to play the whole campaign over again if you have to quit for some reason.

Pros: Realy good game, good graphics, and original fighting styles.
Cons: No save, not enough character choices, should be able to pick weather the class is male or female.

good idea, and looks great, but I've wound up below 0 health, without anything happening. I've also reduced an enemy below 0 without killing it. It went back up to full. Was using spy. 3/5 until the bugs are worked out.

When you can save the game it will get 5 stars and when there is an inventory and there is some sort of equitment I will add it to my favorites!

Interesting concept.
I'd like to be able to set how long I have to consider retreat - 1 sec, 2 sec, 3 sec, 5 sec, indefinite.

i think 1-10 is a little too random.
might want to take the game to the next level and make the damage system dependent upon character stats or equipment.
could do something like:
damage = 1d10 + attk
defense = 1d10 + def
alternately, you could offset one (focusing on damage rather than defense or vice-versa) by doing:
1d10 +stat/2 round up
and your movement has less to do with chess and more to do with checkers.
anyway... just ideas. I think it's a good start but it needs something to separate it from other games in the same genre. It's a basic idea that doesn't appear to have a fully fleshed out design.
