Skill tree is all maxed, guess I just wait for an update? Also pretty sure after first time logging off and back on the bonuses stopped doing anything. Quest times haven't changed at all. neither have the amount I've been getting

Nearly filled out all the family traits. Progression seems very limited and also very linear once you reach this point each upgrade making almost no difference to gains in both quest completion time (i understand this is currently being reworked) and skill progression.
A few things I would like to see.
1. Quests that unlock at a certain skill level not just character level. *Pending new quest system review
And quests that unlock on completion of quests offering greater rewards and removing the temptation to just do the lvl 5 quest
2. Higher tiers of family traits only unlocked after gaining a certain total number of legacy points and after completing certain objectives e.g. having 100 total LP and completing the intelligence circle of traits unlocks tier 2 of intelligence traits.
We have re-built the quest system completely now, hopefully addressing some of your concerns. We are also working on a trait board update that will expand the trait system significantly. Thanks for your feedback!

once you have done all the quests. the idle part of the game pretty much has nothing to do with leveling your skilltree

Suggestion: The game looks too.. blue. Maybe adding some colors wouldn't hurt.
Probably adding a color code to the skills that combine?

For some reason my xp gained per purchase is going down instead of up. (I think.) It's getting harder and harder to gain levels every soft reset, and open up new quests. (Quests do completely recycle each reset, right?)

Could be fine a way to click repearly in the buttons (strenght....) to speed this bar and make the game a little bit less idle

A way to export your save data would be a ton helpfull. otherwise, love the game so far and excited to see what comes next.

It seems like the only point of the game past 40 or so LP is filling out quests to get more LP so you can max out your skill tree. getting the skills upgraded is effortless, and you gain xp far faster then quests finish.

Based on my current run, it seems you could just give legacy points about 1 per 100 skill levels (that would actually be less LP than I have gotten from quests in that time). Then make the quests give the bonus exp to spend as they are now, and also a separate currency that you would use to spend on artifacts (and the artifacts could be permanent, and add more of them or the higher skills). It then makes each process in the game useful. Further, instead of simply spending the LP, you could also make it so that you would have to meet certain requirements to buy certain boosts. Like, reach level 100 charisma to be able to buy a 100% boost. Level 200 to buy the 200% boost...etc. That would highly increase replay value. As it is now, I really like the concept of this game, and want to like it, but cannot force myself to like it. And your problem as a developer is that if people walk away from this game, there is almost no chance at all of them coming back.
Some great ideas, thanks! We have been looking into ways to re-balance the production of LP to drive progress in the game more effectively. Right now, we are redesigning the quest system to be much more interesting, but the repercussion is that LP will be much more scarce. Having an LP reward at x skill levels is something we are looking into!

Skill training and exp seem pointless, as quests are the only thing that matter atm. It would be cool to see some use for XP, maybe magic like fast forward quest time, increase rewards. Or maybe equipment of some kind like helmets, armor, etc. that can give things like faster quest time, more lp, etc. Just some suggestions, I feel the game could be very good just needs a bit more content

the traits still aren't fixed. My first run had somewhat accurate numbers, but now my strength is back to starting at 200 xp. per fill at lvl 1.

Is there any plans on seeing our totals bonus? Im just curious to see my total skill speed, total skill profit, etc etc
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The family traits was nice but the price of every node was probably to low, i've already bought every last one of them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I guess the biggest problem is that training skills is mostly pointless. Basically the entirety of the game is waiting for the quests to get done.

For people who don't want to waste points trying to navigate through the fog the points the 900% skillboosts are in the following positions: Top: INT/LUCK/AWARENESS/COOKING/DIPLOMACY;
Bottom-right: AGI/CHARISMA/EVASION/HUNTING/TRACKING;
bottom-left: STR/CONSTITUTION/ARMOR/CONSTRUCTION/INTIMITATION.

you can forget my comment about skills. It appears before they still showed even though i didnt have the exp for them.

@eshimura I'm getting this bug too, and its extremely frustrating. Can't see myself playing this game until it's fixed.

Is there anythig wrong with the bonus trait?
I bought some traits and some skills were about 1 trillion per cicle.
So i upped the skill and closed the game, so now I come back and the same skill is around 137 billion per cicle.
Is it a bug?

Suggestion: An "XP per minute: ___ , Seconds until completion: ___" overlay when hovering over the timer. Below about 5 seconds, it's hard to get a feel for the worth of things.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I feel like the tracking artifacts are doing the incorrect thing. They are giving speed instead of upgrade. I feel like this is wrong because long before I max out the speed upgrades on tracking, I am limited not by the cycle speed but by my processor speed, cycling anywhere from .001 to .004

After spending family points, I refreshed the game due to an (unrelated) browser issue and now the bonuses appear to have ended.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
No matter how much experience you accumulate you're not going to retire or finish quests any sooner, and that's the biggest problem in this game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'd like a breakdown of which job/skill is making the most xp cumulatively, so I know what to put xp into. (if one job/skill is only making 1% and another is making 30%, and both jobs have a similar cost to improve, I'd surely rather put xp into the one which is performing better).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The time-based quest system that has nothing to do with the other skills is really slowing things down and not making me love this game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I just bought the second an final artifact for Tracking and now this Skill is stuck and does not generate any more XP. Not even manual clicks work :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It'd be neat to see something like a "family tree" of your previous heroes - appearance, age at retirement, whatever else. I'm digging the game so far, though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I would love to have the nodes on the Legacy skill tree color coded so that I could read it at a glance, that way I could find the nearest desired type of boost quickly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Legacy skills does not carry forward to following rebirths.
Obtain +strength 900% on second rebirth but on the 3rd rebirth the bonus no longer applies :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I just retired for the first time. So most family traits are not active yet? I highlight them and nothing happens? I took the one that gives 20% more rewards for 1 LP. None of the other ones next to it show when I highlight them. The only ones that show that work are the ones that cost 50 LP. Is that accurfate?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Awesome game. It seems each skill gives a different avatar when chosen first, not only the first 3, looking forward to see them all
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, hardly any of the nodes even matter because the only ones that even affect my progress are the ones that speed up the quest timer. XP hasn't mattered at all in ages because none of the quest past level 50 are worth doing and waiting out quests is the only way to get LP.
