IF AND ONLY IF Jack OR Jill is ill, THEN there is a possibility that the other is not ill.
Jack is ill.
THEREFORE Jill might not ill.
The game stated that Jill was not ill.
THEREFORE Jill should be able to fetch the water on her own.
This was not an option in the game.
Logical errors make me wonder about their reasoning.
_____________________
THEREFORE I am wondering why Jill can't fetch the water by herself.
Do you know what goes in the blank? ;)

@silversleek:
That is incorrect. That is called denying the antecedent, which is a formal fallacy. It follows the form:If p then q. Not p, therefor not q.
You can, however, deny the consequence, saying that: If p, then q. Not q, therefor not p.
At the end of your comment, your form was:
P. If not p, then not q. Therefor q.
However, the only way to change your statement legally is to change it to:
P. If q, then p. Therefor q.
However, to get that statement to comply with the data, obviously a fallacy is necessary.
So you're wrong.

...So I am dead? That seems kinda sucky. You just analyzed my logic and intellect long enough to kill me off? That machine sucks.

i already have a problem with the first option. The correct answer is that if i want the light to come on i should press the switch, because the light is connected to the switch. (nevermind how i can see that in the dark) BUT, the answer "if i don't want the lights to come on, i shouldn't press the switch" should also be applicable, even though it's not. (I tried all the answers out of curiosity, even the pink elephant.) I want them to turn on, not doing this will leave them off, ergo i should do it instead.
I get that it's not "as good of" an answer as the first one, but it still works.

1. IF AND ONLY IF you like my comment THEN you should click +
2. Choose: you like my comment
you don't like my comment
3. THEREFORE Choose: you should click +
you shouldn't click +

I was having fun with this game... Until level 7, when I had to see the comments to see there were more choices. It's not that hard to at least let you know those options are there. Then I started using arrow keys and it would alter three choices at once, literally making it impossible to complete. Great game, but still needs work.

Logic puzzles! I remember when I took my first Philosophy of Math class my favorite from our book was, "Batman is the President of the United States of America or Batman is not the President of the United States of America." (which was prefaced by 'This statement is always true').

SPOILERS!!!!
1. You got gassed in the end
2. The machine contradicts itself
3. The machine must complete its mission
If the machine contradicts itself
Then
The machine doesn't have to complete it's mission
4. the machine didn't complete it's mission
BUT
If the machine contradicts itself
and you got gassed and the end,
Then
you didn't get killed
and IF
the machine is still NOT completing its mission,
and you still got gassed,
but you didnt die,
THEREFORE!
you must have escaped

some might like this type of interactive book with tests but if I wanted to read a book I would grab one from the bookshelf.

I didn't even realise that you could scroll down to other options because I was using mouse only. Very frustrating as i wouldn't have needed to google a walkthrough if I had.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oh yeah, what a sick game, though there were a couple interface issues that frustrated me, like the inability to access lower options with mouse only, but the propositional calculus was great, and I love the game, and the ending was fantastic

One of the few things I actually (semi-) understood from Geometry last year was the different types of reasoning.
THIS IS MY GAME. ... Yet, I'm stumped.
Regardless of that, I love the whole idea and twist on the stereotypical escape game. This one makes me think, which is my favorite part. And The Machine.

ZerVexon - You failed to make a proper connection between whether there SHOULD and whether there WILL be a sequel, and there are a few other problems in your logic as well.
IF the fans want a sequel, AND the game creator serves the fans' desires, THEN there will be a sequel.
IF there will be a sequel, THEN the main character can NOT be dead.
The fans want a sequel.
ASSUMPTION: The game creator serves the fans' desires.
THEREFORE, there will be a sequel.
THEREFORE, the main character can NOT be dead.
IF the assumption is correct, THEN please fix the drop down issue in the sequel. It took a lot of pleasure out of the otherwise most appreciable points in the game.

It's vaguely frustrating that the drop downs have answers that don't fit and no scroll bar, and when you try to scroll one to find the correct answer it scrolls the rest of them too.

for dummies who don't understand level 10:It's pure logic, translated to english it would look like:
1.G is true
2.if M is true,G is true,so A is true
3.M is true
4.(guess,I gave a huge hint)
5.if M and A are true,E is false
6.therefore E is false(not E)
7.if O and V are true,E is false or R is true and vice versa
8.(O is true)

If the fans want a sequel, there should be a sequel. If there will be a sequel, the main character can NOT be dead. If the fans want a sequel and there should be a sequel, the main character has NOT died. Therefore, the Main character is not dead. Therefore there will be a sequel. (HINT HINT)

Can you make it so that the drop downs show all of the options available or make a visible scroll bar to notify people that there are more options? I got stuck on the Australia one and 10 because of that.
