Please disregard my last comment. It was, in fact, an issue on my end. The game appears to be good so far, but I'll withhold any further comment until I get further.

I'm having trouble getting the game to work. Right after selecting whether to mute or not, it starts going to the doppler game intro thing, then freezes. If I scroll up and down a few times it will advance until 'doppler games is in the middle, then that's it. My flash plugin has been a little screwy recently and no one else is saying anything, so I'll keep trying. I just figured I'd mention it just in case.

just wishing there were more upgrade options. such as increase rate if fire, damage, maybe a perk for gaining $$ faster. loved the art style though. good game concept as well as story.
just thought it was lacking some overall upgrades.

I like to see upgrades and such have a cosmetic impact. It's not something I want forced into every game, but it should be commended when it happens. -- Aside from the major two points everyone has stated, with regards to the time manipulation and the lack of choice in upgrading. It would be nice to have the enemies path shapable. If my line from cliff to cliff can fit a total of 5 turrets, and I place only 3 or 4 down they should take that advantage. Only attacking turrets if they completely block their progress.

Deserves a solid 4. I really liked it but its missing that small thing that makes you say 'wow' .
If there were more upgrades and weapons it would be a 5/5 game. Looking forward to the sequel with these small tidbits corrected. :)

-Increase Armor Penetration (For Tougher Bugs)

There's really not much to this game. Yea, the upgrade EXP system is there, but realistically it's quite standard, nothing special. needs a x4 and shouldn't have to hold it down, it runs really slow. There's just nothing special about this game. Generic, put it with the rest of em

I must say this game has a lot of potential. I love the pace of the game and how it does begin to get a bit challenging at the middle levels making you plan your bases early.
I have a few problems/suggestions...
1. The upgrades need a mouse over to show the effect that they give.
2. The upgrades need to be re-worked to have more relevance or add more upgrades....(Like adding Tower Fire Rate increase, Tower Damage, More Money From Kills, etc.)
3. The speed up button needs a toggle effect instead of a hold effect.
4. An option to show the stats of the next wave incoming.

Selling and rebuilding a tower is cheaper then repairing and at least it got full health imediatly. since u even dont loose a tower like this the third star is easyer to get. this should be balanced.

2x speed button needs perma click - Also, needs more / better upgrades. Otherwise great game , very addivtive and not too easy.

Obviously the speed toggle thing as everyone else advised, but really I think its a very good game. The critters eating the turrets is nice and makes it a bit more frenetic, the upgrades are solid, if somewhat limited in selection, and most importantly, its fun. Do wish anything I unlocked applied retroactively though. Just the same, 4/5

Upgrading your guns doesn't seem to do anything other than make it a cooler gun. And the upgrades in the upgrade menu don't seem to help much either. I'm playing on easy, with the biggest radius and armor rating, with a laser turret, and it doesn't have any benefit.
balance seems to be a little off if I'm losing with top upgrades in easy.

Like previous comments, i would like it if the speed up button was toggled rather than pressed and maybe add another level, so like three times speed. I would also like it if the repair continued till the turret was fully repaired with an optional button to repair all turrets. Could you also add hotkeys for upgrading and selling turrets and an info panel on the level select so we could see the stats of each turret and the effect of each upgrade (also for comparison between an upgraded turret vs a different turret). Really nice TD, very starcraft-like (terran vs zerg XD) but that's cool. 5/5 because shooting those aliens is addictive and the game is relatively well balanced. My only disappointment : the last level is just a regular level, there's no extra difficulty (I beat it on my first try), no final boss, nothing. I think you should make a final boss, and make the level more difficult ; I think it would be great with a final boss a la Kingdom Rush.

I would like it better if the air support buttons were 5 and 6 rather than letters. It is hard for me to remember which it is and I have to look down to get my fingers ready to use them. The numbers would be simpler.

Holding the x2 button is the biggest pain for me in this game. Liked it otherwise. Cant I have a x4 option as well and have it toggle on or off - doesnt need to be held.

So the only difference between normal and ultimate is that the support abilities are locked? Let me select ultimate right away, instead of having to beat every level twice.

To those who are confused: not doppler is a publisher/sponsor/game hub, like kongregate is. Saying not doppler made the game is like saying that kongregate made every game here.

I like it but I don't understand why the upgrades don't carry through to the next lvl...when you open an upgrade you should be able to use it on the next lvl's

Good game, with a lot of potential. But the upgrades... To few and does almost nothing... Really sad, since this could be a favorite game for me.

nice game, interesting, just started. First feedback: please make the 2x speed button lockable, as in not needing to hold it. i like my games fast!
