Corporation Inc sucked because it was full of bugs and very slow. No bugs here so far, but it's missing some things Corp. Inc. had: Upgradeable stuff and rooms (elevators ;-) ).
But it's nice. Just some upgrades and it will get a better rating than Corp. Inc.

To the people who are having trouble with elevators.. you are not supposed to make the elevator go from floor 1 to floor or whatever. Of course it takes ages then. Make 1 elevator only like 10 floors and build a new shaft above that. So for example if you have 1 elevator left and 1 right make the left go floors 1-10 and the right 1-11. then a new sheft left from 11 to 20 and right 12 to 21 ec. that way you will never have troubles.

After noticing 5 of my elevator shafts sitting unused, it looks like people won't use an elevator over 12 blocks away from a useful room. So while they love them some elevators, be sure you aren't letting space go to waste in this fashion.

So wait, if I do nothing and don't build an internet room i will get +1 reputation/customer. If I build one the queue is too large and I will get -2 rep/customer, if i build another internet room they will only go to the first one and i will get -3 rep/customer.... Odd.

49 story hotel. 25 block column width. 15 block width of high capacity elevators going all the way to the top. (60% for those playing at home) Guess what my guests are demanding more of. Go on, guess.

This is corporation Inc. Or more accurately a watered down, basic version of it. Don't get me wrong - I enjoyed the game, at least until it became a futile struggle to provide enough elevators. I did like the hotel reviews part though. That bit did have some originality. But it's still just a re-skinned Corporation Inc without the upgrades.

the comments thing really help you to see what's missing in your hotel but...they complain of elevators even when you hotel is only elevators. Mac55 , just click on the maid then click fire...That's for every worker

this game needs to be remove that auto-pause-when-i-click-outside. I want to do other things, or check other pages while i wait to get enough money....
Otherwise great game

it will be fine too if people go to different rooms like : a someone goes to a laundry and its full that he not go and wait but that he go to another empty laundry

For those having trouble with the elevators try the following: Build 6 floors of elevators and 5 standard rooms on an adjacent block, then build a new shaft on top of those rooms and another 6 extensions for the new elevator, then go back to the other block, build another 5 rooms and start yet another shaft, this way, your elevator should ocupy only two blocks, and be much more eficient then many linear elevators. Do this gradually as needed, and voi lá! sudenly your problems with complaints about elevators are gone. I had about 6 high capacity elevators, all the way to the top, and the clients just kept bugging me about it =p, then I've traded all 6 for just 2 of those of diferent model and I never got another complaint again. Hope it helps. Btw this can be done with service elevators as well (though I didn't find it necessary, as I had enough maids and engineers to do all the dirty job, if you know what I mean =p)

It'd be cool if you could designate which floors the elevators stop, so you could make express elevators that stop at the ground floor and then only go to floors 20-50 or something like that.

To all with issues with elevators. Don't make elevators that run all the way from the ground floor to the top. Limit their height and start a second shaft next to it where it ends. The elevators will then have shorter trip back and forth and get people where they want to go faster. Usually guests only want to travel a few floors unless they're arriving or leaving. Then they just have to hop to a different elevator to go the whole way and don't seem to mind taking two or three to get where they're going as long as they don't wait too long at one of them.

I have like 9 elevators going all the way up... every time I add 4 new floors of suites (including pres) they fill up...I have like 50 maids. People have finally stopped complaining lol. If you reach a comfortable place, just leave it running on 4x and wait. Now, you can't change windows or or whatever, I mean leave computer lol. I did that on like 2 stars and got 3 million in almost 2 hours while I went to my college class for a final exam :P

If you have an elevator problem: build more NEW elevators, instead of making the ones you already have longer. A zigzag pattern for elevators works very well.

Seriously, what's the point in making the game pause each time you do anything else? You can't even chat in kong without the game pausing!
And elevators are a pain in the ass, it's like those guys would be happier if I had built only those and one or two rooms...

i got bored so i cliked on a customer and he went into two different rooms.
he went into one and when he was leaving he hopped into a different room got someone elses stuff and checked out with it?!?!?

Got 5 stars with 35+ floor hotel and two horisontal extentions.
If you have problems with "more elevators" demands, try "snake" pattern.
Build one elevator up from floor 1 to, say, floor 3 (yep, very short one). Then build one beside it from 3 to 5, then from 5 to 7, etc. That would give you no or very little "more elevators" demands up to 4 stars. Then you either upgrade all of your elevators to high capacity ones or build up another "snake" at the other side of a hotel. Or don't, i've got about 120 rooms before "more elevators" started showing up.
Of course, it would take about 10 elevator rides to get to your room at 30 floor, but HEY, NO WAITING IN LINE, 3 TUMBS UP!

ELEVATOR SOLUTION: Like MickJay said, use many short shafts. Guests don't care that they have to use ten different elevators to get from the lobby to their room; all they care about is how long they have to stand waiting for a given elevator to come get them. So my first elevator went up six floors. On the tile next to the top of the first elevator was the bottom of my second elevator. Every five floors, then, people had to switch elevators, but they didn't care! I built a second shaft like this, but with the switch one floor higher. I put services/food/health/entertainment stuff on "switch" floors, to reduce how many elevators a person would have to use to reach them (because even with only six floors to cover, those elevators STILL got overused as I approached five stars).
*****Fun game, by the way*****

like someone said, don't make your shafts to high, five levels is enough and make sure you have all services every five levels

tip for starters: build 50% elevator and 50% hotel
and oh yeah: when you upgrade a star rating, pause game and buy all facilities available. when money comes in, start building more rooms.. never underestimate the elevators.. as said: 50% elevator and 50% hotel
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Never build one new think alone buy 2 or 3, if you do so they dont run into the gym or the arcade like its the last one on earth, cause to get high qeues and a bad hotel ranking!=ruin!

it may be just me but my guests are complaining that they didnt have a bowling hall so i build one and then they almost never go to the bowling hall now so make it so that the poeple that complained atleast go more to the thing they wanted you to build we should be able to make money whith the higher cost stuff not losing it

There should honestly be a lose condition. Staying in debt for too long, or something. I maxed out my loans and spent a year paying them off and not having a dime to spend, and the game didn't care.

3\5 cause I just sit here waiting for money to grow, not much to do in the meantime.. Should have more problem solving and upgrades too..

I discovered a fix for the "needs more elevators" complaint.
Build one elevator from the ground floor until level 5. Then, right next to it, build an elevator from level 4 that covers 5 floors (floor 4 until floor 8). Then right next to that, (above your original elevator, with one floor in between the top and bottom elevators) build another elevator that covers 5 floors (from floor 7 until 11).
Repeat the pattern.
You should have multiple elevators in two columns that go five floors, then have a space in between, then another elevator that goes five floors. This may be more expensive, but it's much more efficient.
This works because instead of having one elevator in one shaft covering 49 floors, you have multiple covering smaller areas, which means less queues for the customers.
+ so others can see.

75% of my hotel is big capacity elevators, yet some elevator fetish loving guests still complain it's not enough. I'm thinking my next investment opportunity will be opening up a theme park full of elevators to satisfy this once hidden craving amongst the people.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I just know what to do to have enough elevators! Just don't make one long elevator for 15 flours. Make elevators for max 5 flours, then make one more starting on the fluor you just ended but not in the same vertical line! So you have more elevators without using more space :)
