You can also do quests for extra rewards which you can then invest in training. There are less frustrating ways to progress in this game now than before. You might even find some quests to be more fun than the usual gameplay.

Yeah, I would not recommend attempting the 600's until you get a co-founder. You don't have to unlock everything on your first school.

@AltairBJJ12 sometimes getting those levels is harder than trying to do it the 'right' way. especially very early game

If you're level 800 you can take on the 600 Rivals in any stance and get all three stars. You can try minmaxing stats, hybrid, and familiarity for each rival but imho you'll just spin your wheels. Being at least 150 levels higher blows any rival out of the water.

@Mistik2 if it's guard you're trying to counter, minmax your hit stat. Use a side sword, leather armor, and the fencing style in blitz stance. Hybrid skills in order of priority: Cofounder, Masters 1 and 2, Courage, awareness, ferocity, tenacity, resilience, vitality

Dude I've maked out I've got like 100 extra skill points and even at like lv 570 I'm giving them a paper cut if. I don't get one shot

@KingWolf, you need to use multiple styles across multiple masters for rival reasons. Basically, use all of them. Sword and shield is pretty good, though, and if you're dual wielding, use both of the same weapon.

During the blight managment quest, the purify training map, willpower training it states that on defend there is a 1% chance to reduce weakness for each level or resilance, which ever is lower. was stuck here for a while until I re-read the fine print and distributed the hybrid skill points evenly.

minor bug but when fighting the knight master in the master tourney his sword sometimes appeared behind his shield not in front

This is a great game, i just liked more when u could stick with different fighting styles, instead of having to learn how to config ur char to do all at once

And you can't even grind some more and complete with and overpowered master, you must find the fighting configuration specific to pass, my Freud is lvl 140 already and yet he can't beat a lvl 120 random warrior, cause i can't find the specific fighting configuration the dev wants me to do to complete the quest...Please, change the +100% in all stats for some flat numbers +50, 250, +1000, wherever like the training penaltys

Head Master Rotvick quest is so boring and bugged, Freud keep getting hit like 1 out of 5 attacks with 97% defend chance, i find it kind of boring when there's only one specific configuration u can do to pass a important part of the game. In the later years this game became a "single specific way to progress" kind of game, like c'mon why can't i just use counter to pass the 3rd Freud quest? waiting for some1 to post somewhere the exact config the dev wants us to find out, to pass each of the quest with each master... so i can comeback to the real game and progress my character the fighting style i really want to progress and play

@jethan0823 it appears that something else bugged out, because I did get the award when I leveled up a completely different skill. It could be because I was on a unit conquest map when I did the level ups so it just didn't update the awards while a different unit is fighting?

I can't get the focus award because I raised vigilance to 5 before concentration. So apparently I need to have the exact skill requirements to get the reward and can't overflow? Love the rest of the game, but that's just sad game design.

To sell a sword, you have to buy another. I'd assume that the game avoids the path of selling your current sword without getting a new one because you wouldn't be able to fight.

Beginners guide says to buy and sell 10 short swords to get the traders achievement, but after buying a short sword the only thing that shows up is the option to upgrade it. I can't sell.

After buying the short sword the only option for me is to upgrade it. I can't buy again, I need to buy another weapon in order to buy the short sword again, except I already did that and can't get the Trader Award.
