Is the only reason health kits spawn in the underworld because they have that word in their name? Actually, looking at their badge names... yeah, I think so.

Reminder: kill enemies by holding "up" after jumping/double-jumping/gliding, even if you run out of glide. (Less damage, plus you get bonus points for doing so.) Go as high as possible, then go for whatever multiplier gems you can see and get at least to x15-x20 ASAP, even if it means you take some damage, and keep up that multiplier; at that rate of gaining points, you'll definitely get 10k before you die. Once you get the glide upgrade, the badge is already doable (I had 9.3k on my second try), but of course, more upgrades always help out (by glide x2 on level 9, it becomes a cakewalk).

One of the easiest ways I found to get the badge is to try to stay as high up as possible. I got the medium badge at level 6 because when you're high up enough you don't need to worry about falling off the map and can focus on avoiding the enemies. Also, don't go for gems if you think it might hurt you, the multiplier does not reset to 0 if it times out it just goes down by 1 and you can easily find another gem to get the multiplier up instead of taking damage.

Y'all should just git gud instead of whining in the comment section lmao. Got the badge at level 8 after like 15 minutes, literally just git gud honestly.

This game gives you no feeling that you're progressing or getting stronger. I've spent almost a half hour, and still keep getting roughly the same score run after run. The only feeling of progress I've encountered is the level counter. I made it to level 7 and still can't get anywhere near the medium badge requirement. That should be at least a hard rating. I give up. 1/5 because I can't give it a 0.

Honestly, this is just too grindy to be worth the investment of time demanded relative to the depth of its gameplay and overall content. You'll see more or less everything there is to see within a few minutes, and you'll do everything there is to do soon after, but getting the badge is a long, repetitive business. Granted, I'm not the sort of person the game's aimed at; I'm too slow and clumsy to be any good at running, jumping, quick time events, and the like. But the thing is, it's not even a matter of this one being *difficult* - it's just so repetitive that it quickly becomes very dull to mess with, and there's a strong luck-based element to boot. What eventually turned me off completely was being launched from one of the aforementioned QTEs directly into an enemy, thus ending what seemed to me to be a pretty long slog of a run at only 6000 score. There's a point when you realize there's better things to do with your time, man.

For the badge: You are going to die again and again and again (59 deaths for me). It's not about skill, it's a grind for experience points (yellow orbs and kills). At level 8 you get twice as many trampolines, at level 9 your glide meter fills twice as fast, and at level 10 you get med-kits to heal. With those 3 upgrades 10k points is TOTALLY doable. Still a bit luck based, but nothing unreasonable with those upgrades.
Please upvote if this helped, so that new folks can get the badge without rage-quitting this game. And yeah, those hit-boxes are a but rough.

Go ahead and downvote this idk, but I'm having no problems and it just takes skill and practice to get the hang of it. I'm still killing it coming back to it.

can't attack monsters without spending glide, fall through solid platforms/don't get launched by springs/etc. Buggy and unfun. No shiny for me this week.

Ah, and I forgot but the number of time I was clearly above a platform, or ON an item, and I just went through it... like, collision is the basis of the game, why is it so fickle?

Glide replenish way too slowly to be really interesting. Supposedly you can use the up key to attack but: it consume your glide, which make it useless.
The down key to attack is not bad, but it makes you dive, so it also doesn't work for all situation.
The game would be much better if I could use points to unlock things as I need them, and increase either their efficiency or spawn rate

Buggy mess. I keep triggering elements without getting their effects. If the trampolin animation and its sound are playing I should get pushed up, not have nothing happen.
Shitty BotD.

I thought this badge would be far more difficult than it turned out to be, for I got it at the 8th level, having played for an hour at most. I shall repeat the advice of two previous commenters: glide is expendable and holding the up key after jumping lets you attack everything. Luck wasn't a large factor, but lack of lag was.

If you're aiming for the achievement, kill as many bees as possible. Glide is expendable. Hold up when you're near a swarm of bees since that triggers your attacks. Don't worry about wasting glides since you probably have tried this game for a few minutes before unlocking the lifesaver unlockable and falling down to the flood is not a problem anymore.

The badge is possible within a few hours. I got mine at lvl 21 and 51 runs.
The game does become easier as you get tankier as the game goes on since you will gain fire resistance and armour.
At start of any run: just go for coins as that's your xp for your lvl and combo + the combo degrades pretty easily.
while you're on fire: x2 (separate to coin multiplier). Basically doubles your coin multiplier. Either you're nearly at the 10,000 points or already have fire resistance, intentionally run into fires when you have a decent coin multiplier going.
Decent Game. 3/5. Requires a bit of timeto get used to the jump speed/height and quick time events.
For it to be 5/5 i think it would need these:
Menu to make the game a lil bit easier but give a slight xp penalty. e.g. coins appear more frequently, auto-do quick events. That way people wouldn't mind replaying till they get certain levels.
