drop the blue bacteria into the vent to get yellow ones, dump the yellow ones back into the vent on the left to get red

To the ones complaining about whale level - click on oysters on the bottom to generate planktons. Very frustrating game for those who have lag tho. That toucan fish pulled way too many corals because simply 17 clicks on it wasn't enough.

The problem with Kongregate blocks continues. Today the blocks reward moved to this badge, and it's now broken too, like the yesterday's badge was yesterday, even though this badge worked yesterday, when the blocks reward was not yet attached to it.

I had the badge already and it took a few minutes for the page to award me the bonus points. So, if not awarded, try and wait for a few minutes.

Have a good concept, but the execution is fatally flawed in how tedious this becomes... (to the point it's not enjoyable!)

aquarium mode looks so pretty once all the coral has grown all over the rocks, you should make more games trickysheep, the atmosphere in your games is such a nice mix between magical and serene
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Only needs one thing to make it better: An option in Aquarium Mode where you can switch off the enemies. Then it would be perfect. Overall, 5/5!

You made a game about relaxing reef-building, with no instructions whatsoever, and put a boss fight at the end. Who hurt you?

The badge worked ok (I already had it), but it took about a minute for the page to update that a) I actually had the badge and then b) for the Kongpanion awarad to be recognised. I had the same problem yesterday. Hopefully they'll fix the lag at some point.

Quick tip for the level with the big whale things: instead of clicking them 50k times to get rid of them, dragging a piece pollution/toxin on it does the trick as well. The only way to pull that off in aquarium mode is to let one of the pollution-spitting fish spawn and then don't kick it off screen. Hope this helps save your clicker fingers!

I remember trying to get the badge a few years ago but ultimately giving up. I remember the game to be much much longer then. Am I just getting old or were there changes?

kong blocks may just be a stupid idea to begin with, chat stickers? not even like alternate color kongpanions? thanks for crashing the daily badge system
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hah well this really is ridiculous. Could quite well miss this kongpanion which matters to collectors like myself because of these stupid bugs relating to blocks. The badge isn't given, I've even just tried going through the report missing XYZ option and that won't even let you submit it. So what are suppose to do? This is just stupid.

For anyone stuck on the whale, while clicking works, feeding it red skulls chases it away for longer, long enough to grow at least 2 or 3 polyps. Also, using combos(place as many as possible then feed them all at once) boosts your score exponentially and makes it faster. On the anchor level, ignore the reds and use the orange and yellow polyps. That way, you only have to vent the blues once, and not worry about catching them a second time.

It's a cool concept with interesting mechanics, but due to it's duration and the fact that you need to repeat the tasks like 20 times it becomes more of a grind than a puzzle. Also if you play this on a MacBook your right arm is gonna hurt like crazy. Make it shorter, or add more variation with different tasks, this game has so much potential, but due to it's poor execution I'm gonna need to rate this 2/5

Please fix this issue for BOTD. I already have the badge, and it is not awarding the extra points or credit for shiny kongpanion.

This is one of the first games I played when I was a small child and had just got access to the internet. Me and my sister used to love it! It is great seeing this brought to the spotlight again!

A little tedious, so here are some tips (possible SPOILERS)
In general, if fish give you a hard time, click on them. For the level that needs you to click oysters to generate planktons, it is easier if you place the coral in the positions where the same coloured plaktons will go to later. Place similarly coloured corals together, and all corals as close as possible together

A nice chill game, that steadily morphs into a frustrating click hell level by level due to some of the most obnoxious things I have ever seen in a game.
Nope.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not only was it hard to figure out Jellies become corals when stuck on a surface and fed, but fending off fish, cleaning oil, and whales eating the feed made this badge lengthy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, it definitely seems to be broken. I earned this back in 2018, and the badge shows as in color (meaning earned) but it fails to SAY it's been awarded already. This thing needs to be fixed!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game, but being unable to save the game between levels is a fatal flaw. I hate having to restart games, particularly because if I walked away from a game without finishing it, it's because it was either too tedious or too time consuming to finish in one sitting. Having to restart a game like that is a slap in the face.

This game became a lot easier to manage once I realized that you could collect a small swarm of plankton just by grabbing one and holding the mouse down while mousing over the others. Many (if not all) threats can be attacked with clicking, too.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah it's pretty tedious, but it's fairly short. Tips: 1.) Most importantly, you can grab multiple bacteria by holding on one and trailing the cursor through others. This makes the game much shorter. As stated by others: 2.) Putting blue bacteria into the volcanic hole gives yellow, and yellow makes red. 3.) Clicking the oysters releases bacteria of different color. That pretty much sums it up. Quick and easy badge.

In aquarium mode, kick out every fish that tries to destroy the reef EXCEPT the ones that just eat the colored particles. There are 5 slots for enemies to ravage your reef but if you have the tiny fish just eating particles and you don't poke them, you wont have to spend time poking whales and annoying fish. Thumbs up so people can see!
