Yup, got to level 140 with several resets and all my work is gone. Went from 4/5 instantly to 1/5. Hate when that happens and I never come back even if the game itself is really good.
If you'd like, you can PM me some info on roughly where you were, and I can generate an import code for you. In the future, remember to back up your save often (via the DATA menu), just in case. Thanks!

casual thought, could you add a visual indicator for the timer of the auto buyer? although i occasionally see it go off, it would feel better to see the timer moving.

@truefire Naa, I dont need a code or anything like that. I had hardly even started. While it may be on my end, its not cookie related, that is for sure. I am currently using fire fox as my browser so that may have something to do with it since they no longer support flash. This is the most likely case since there are no other games on Kong that I have this issue with, and I have a lot of saved games stored.
As far as saving the game goes, it either wont let me save, or its doing a copy to my clipboard and not telling me. Either way, I see several other comments talking about the data loss issue so I know its not me alone. It looks like a fun game, and I had fun for the hour or so playing it, but sadly if I am unable to save, I will not be playing this one for now :3
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Scratch that - the Import save option works ONLY AFTER THE TUTORIAL.
TRUE FIRE WHY IN GODS NAME WOULD YOU FORCE US TO PLAY UNTIL LEVEL 20 JUST TO IMPORT A SAVE....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Going to agree with the others. I closed my browser and all progress was lost. Until you have a working save system, I am rating this a 1 star.
"Heya! I've had a few reports of lost saves, but most people seem to be having no trouble. It's quite likely an issue on your computer. There are several things that could cause you to lose your save (deleting cookies, automatic cleanups done by antivirus software, if your computer crashes during a save, bad Flash permission settings). If you'd like, you can PM me some info on roughly where you were, and I can generate an import code for you. In the future, remember to back up your save often (via the DATA menu), just in case. Thanks!"

(continued) Maybe a minimum-proclaim points requirement could be announced for transcending, so the player knows it's not worth pushing on to 200 until he's ready?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The push to 200 was pretty steep and now that I got there, it's suggesting me to wait until 100+ transcend points, which seems to go really slowly. Bit of a bummer. Otherwise, really cool game; I don't mind the prestiges resetting the lower levels, it makes quick reruns of the lower levels worth doing.

also when we remove tooltips some things should still stay like the cost of the upgrades and their effect for example Power x
xyz Gold
damage x -> y

Okay, my computer crashed making me lose my nonexported save, and to even be able to import my actual save I have to get through the entire tutorial which requires me to at least get to level 20. Even though the Data option appears at level 5, the Export and Import buttons don't do anything while I can paste my code in the box. Dude, let me get to that feature ASAP, because I don't want to have to deal with this bullshit every time my computer crashes.

offline ticks stuck at 106k. Idk how i have them and i have the button they are on green so i assume they should be being used. But they are changing and game time feels the same
While offline ticks are being used, you gain 5x rewards from enemies. It uses 5 per second (about 200s to use 1k), so you won't see the display update all that frequently when you have so many.
Make sure to export your save often (via the DATA menu)! I'm not really sure what the problem is, but it's likely a configuration issue on your computer. If you'd like, you can PM me some info on roughly where you were, and I can generate an import code for you.

These changes are good. I still have a few more questions. 1. When an effect says "fill stamina bar" does it fill it up x1 or based on maximum speed (ex 200% = x2). 2. If I get a Spike Armor talent, will it reflect avoided hit or not. And if it does reflect avoided attack, if I have Precise, will it reflect half or all (of the 10%)? Another suggestion by the way, I wonder if you can omit Balance upgrade to upgrades that can be auto upgraded. Autoupgrade on Balance is pointless and a waste cause you wont be there to click it to fill the gauge.
Hey, thanks for the feedback! Your bar will fill 1x at first, but there's a later upgrade that improves that. You'll only reflect an avoided hit if you have Precise. And I'll consider removing Balance from Auto-Upgrade in a future update.

great game, kind of hard to break into first proclaim though without a massive evasion stacker build... also what exactly does stamina break do? it looks kinda useless
I haven't implemented a hard reset yet, but here's an export code from the very beginning of the game. For now, just import it if you want to reset: NnwwfDB8MHwwfDB8MHwwfDB8MHwwfDB8MHwwfDB8MHwwfDB8MHwwfDF8MXwxfHRydWV8ZmFsc2V8ZmFsc2V8MTUwOTczMjc1NzM3NXwwfDF8ZmFsc2V8ZmFsc2V8ZmFsc2V8MCwwLDAsMCwwLDAsMCwwLDAsMCwwLDAsMCwwLDAsMCwwLDAsMCwwLDAsMCwwLDAsMCwwLDAsMCwwLDAsMCwwfC0xLC0xLC0xLC0xLC0xLC0xLC0xLC0x|ZWZjYWQ5OGFhMjA0ODczMjhmNjhlOWVkMmYyMTA3MWM=

Did you happen to do an update that caused a data wipe? I lost my save. I mean I was not very far at all, just want to make sure it was a you thing and not a game thing :p
I haven't done anything that should reset saves (and mine and most people's seem to be fine). It's quite likely an issue on your computer. There are several things that could cause you to lose your save (deleting cookies, automatic cleanups done by antivirus software, if your computer crashes during a save, bad Flash permission settings). If you'd like, PM me some info on roughly where you were, and I can generate an import code for you. In the future, remember to back up your save often (via the DATA menu), just in case!
Heya. "Lucky" means the effect will get a second chance to succeed if it fails the first check. You can view a description for lucky and more terms in the glossary by clicking the '?' button in the upper left corner.

Can we at least see the new upgrades we unlock for prestige as soon as we unlock prestige? It's such a risky move without knowing how much we need.
Hey, if you can PM some details of roughly where you were when you lost your save, I can generate you an import code to get you back there. A reminder to everyone, remember to back up your save code often, just in case!
Heya! In my testing, enemies seem to miss just fine, but if you've found a bug I might have 'missed' (ha ha), it'd be great if you could PM me any details.

it gets pretty hard after level 120. . . fights just last so long. Me and the enemy are able to get so many nimble stacks our accuracy gets below 30% and the tank mobs have so much HP and defense I hit like a wet noodle even with crits
Thanks for the feedback! I've buffed a lot of the fortune upgrades. Counter, Riposte, and Combo are about twice as strong early, and Berserk and Crit chance scales up faster.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ Bazba, do you honestly believe that it makes the climb back up faster? At level 3, reincarnation only gives 1.73%, those points are most likely gonna be invested in gold and wish multiliers. You lose a lot of good upgrades for little gain. Spirit upgrades sure can be powerful when you get have high upgrade on them but with little spirit we get and how tedious ascending is, I don't think it's worth it for now. Even if we get 50% reputation and wish from ascending, that will only make the climb back a little faster because spirit upgrades have low growth to be OP not to mention the first ascend only gives 15 spirit which you have to split between reincarnation, fame and biorhythm. With all the upgrading and resetting, you'll hardly have time to really idle.

Well nice game, and seriously dont see the problem with the lost of fortune on prestige, You get the Luck upgrade so invest all in it and you get back that lost fortune more then twice as fast and once you got enough fortune you restart and invest all in profit for faster fortune gain and once you got enough you can respec and do whatever build you want... re prestige or aim for ascencion... also the highest value of fortune and rep isnt completly lost on ascencion you get an upgrade that give a small part of it which help getting back on track even faster
Hey, thanks for the feedback. I mostly agree with you myself, but a lot of people were really disappointed to lose their fortune, so I've updated it so that proclaim no longer gets rid of your fortune, and so that it's easier to get more Spirit on your first Transcend.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I dont think nimble is a good idea im at lvl 134 and both of us have 170 nimble stacks and 10% chance to hit each other nimble makes it so you shouldnt put points in attack speed and only go for damage.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
A lot of ultra fat fighters with same money reward, wish prestige upgrades don't really make any hit. just get some funny% to total power
Thanks for the feedback! Enemies have a power budget, so the high-HP ones should have less points invested into things like damage and accuracy, making the fight fairer than it seems. As far as the wish upgrades feeling week, I've buffed a lot of them. Counter, Riposte, and Combo are about twice as strong early, and Berserk and Crit chances scale up faster.
The people have spoken! Proclaim no longer makes you lose fortune. Transcend still does, but you get access to Reincarnation immediately after, which mitigates the loss to some degree.
It wasn't a joke, but people didn't like it, so I've removed it! Proclaim no longer makes you lose fortune. Transcend still does, but you get access to Reincarnation immediately after, which mitigates the loss to some degree.

Why is it that you can fight a dude with 100M HP and then another guy with 800M HP and still get the same amount of gold for both? That doesn't make any sense.
Hey. Originally the idea was that you'd have to re-earn Fortune in between Proclaims (just like you re-earn your gold in between Wishes). Turns out people didn't like this at all, so I'm happy to announce that Proclaim no longer makes you lose fortune. Transcend still does, but you get access to Reincarnation immediately after, which mitigates the loss to some degree.

A request: Pressing Z allows me to buy up to 10, depending on my current cash on hand. Pressing Z and hovering over an item will tell me how many (up to 10) I can buy, and how much it will cost. Please tell *also* tell me how much 10 would actually cost, even if I don't have enough to buy it that instant. Knowing that would make deciding when to do things like Wish a great deal easier.

Precise have description problem. It says, that you take 50% of damage on avoids, but not "you will never get avoid-triggers for other things like counter".

Can you make the tooltip toggleable? Really irritating seeing a tooltip on 90% of the screen. Or make it so that if you press 2nd mouse button it shows tooltip, or a keybind with mouseover.
Done! There's a button in the upper-left corner to toggle tooltips on and off. Note that with tooltips disabled, you won't be able to read upgrade or talent descriptions.
Hey, if you can PM some details of roughly where you were when you lost your save (it might also help to send me your broken import code, maybe I can fix it), I can generate you an import code to get you back there. A reminder to everyone, remember to back up your save code often, just in case!

Attack speed should increase the attack frame speed as well, otherwise its just a disguised attack damage upgrade later on
Thanks for the feedback. I definitely see your point. During development I debated back and forth between two different behaviors for attack speed, and settled on this one for a few balance reasons. I considered improving the animation speed as well, but at faster animation speeds, combat becomes a blurry mess, and it's really hard to follow what's going on.

The enemies all have a 'budget' that they can spend upgrading their stats. If an enemy put so much of his budget into HP, then he probably has very little left over for things like damage and accuracy, so the fight should still be pretty fair. Some enemies (the ones who use their budget wisely) will certainly be harder than others, but the variance shouldn't be too bad.
There's a slightly diminishing return to Fortune, Reputation, and Spirit gains based on the amount you have saved, so that the optimal way to play isn't to just reset immediately at 140 over and over.
