Another bug - while every rebirth rewards less points, fourth rebirth is able to REDUCE existing points and put you in a debt. This effectively prevents further playthoughs (Although not that theres much to do at this point, as you can get from start to rebirth in 25 minutes)

After a while, automine becomes more powerful than anything that active mining can hope to accomplish. Even if you're doing 50 times as much as what's listed, automine can do hundreds of times what's listed. Not sure if intended; if not, maybe tweak Active Damage and/or Combo Boost's upgrade effects?
The recent update rebalanced automine and damage values so that you should be able to do at least a noticeable amount of damage via manual clicks, though it may need a bit more tweaking.

GEM BALANCE SUGGESTION: Remove icons from gems to make it more simple, then just make it so that each stone has:
Chance of finding a gem: X%
Average gem level:Y
And the gems can come at any level as long as you have mined stones powerful enough. And the gems from each stone go 5 levels either way of the average. Then when crafting it will just list all of your gems in order of level!

Gem improvement suggestion: Give different traits to the gem colors. Gems no longer fuse upward into different colors. Upgrades allow you to use more than one gem when making a pick, and add one or more gem to a finished pick to top things off.

One thing that I would love to see is a before and after stats on the rebirth page. I keep forgetting what my stats were during the current run and then guessing at how much they have increased can be difficult.

Now hit level 75 and 75 auto mine with a 36M damage pick and gotten to poop+ (Yes... poop+) and I must say Its pretty hard but the offline progress works WORKS I say I grind with it on dirt and I get like 1000 gems per second Works like a beast

I always go back to the light gem to farm up the top-tier gems, but it lags *really* bad when my pick automines at like 1k per second. Perhaps instead of actually calculating the drops 1k times per second, you could cap it (at like 100 or 500 ticks per second,) and do some fancy math to calculate the average drops?

@Lipica the amount of amor penetration from unbirth is less than 2 percent because you can get 98% off with normal upgrades.

I switch fro crystal+ to stone+ but im getting crystals the same speed as im getting stone with out getting stone if that makes any since.

I don't know if it's just me, but with rebirthing, choosing the cheaper price for upgrades, I'm already at -75% and it hardly feels as if the prices are only 25% of the original...

It would be very nice if you had auto buy for cheapest upgrade available option. That or an option to buy 10x upgrade at once.

Sorry to be spamming your comments, but I've just figured out that the area I can't interact with is the exact size of the games/achievements/my kong drop-down tabs at the top of the page. Could this be related to the game taking control while the tab is down? Opening one of the tabs and letting it close seems to fix the problem. I'm gonna try reproducing this on another game and I'll let you know what happens.

Regarding my last comment, it doesn't seem to be limited to the game, I can't click on the chat/game/high score tabs either. Maybe this is my browser? I'm running on Chrome. I've never had this problem on any other game, so I'm really not sure what's going on.

I like to watch videos/streams while this is running in the background, but occasionally when I come back to this tab I'm unable to click on anything above the automine box. It prevents me from interacting with the top row in the inventory and swapping tabs. It's not every time, it appears to happen randomly. The only way I know of to fix it is to refresh. There has only been one instance of it being fixed without refreshing and that was when I came down to the comments to write this. I went back up to check where exactly it cut off and it was fixed. I can only assume it's related to the game going out of focus. I'll let you know if I figure anything out.

Also buttons are really small at times (like creating a top or handle for the pick. Serious a bit bigger for us old guys.

would be nice if it showed the actual gem drop percentages (after factoring in the upgrade). i.e. gem drop chance if 2% and we have a 500% boost through upgrades. then it's actually a 10% chance.

After like a week of gaming and like 6-7 rbs this is the max I got this rb:

I am lacking 4 points in defense so I would have gotten higher than ruby. I need 1 day afk to get there. I have max def 1.98% and 81% upgrade cost reduction. I have 230% dmg and few points elsewhere.
I tried 1000% dmg build - it was nice. I did max 95% cost reduction - I think it lacks extra 2-3% to be worth it. The defense is definitely the most worth it IF you can afford 98% base. If you cannot afford max 1.98% reduction + base 98% then go ALL DAMAGE. It's best build.
and btw Farming diamonds at wax+ is better than at light gem.....

it would be nice to see how the gem multipliers change the percentages, i have upgraded it repeatedly and the water gem still says 12.05%

The value to health progression in the materials is sexily well managed, dev. Good job! Now if only this defense stat didn't complicate my spreadsheet... :D

Make some upgrades of the "shop".
Maybe something that will increase profit from selling gems? Like flat increase for each gem, or for bulk selling?
You could also make button to sell everything at once, or even to autosell gems and stuff.
It would be nice to be able to sort pickaxe parts depending on quality.
Also I'd love to see button "Sell everything below xxx% quality".

Could we get some clarification about what constitutes a "bad pick" when it comes to Quality Assurance? Is it relative to the pick I currently have? Is it relative to the average quality of a crafted pick? Does it apply to pick heads and handles individually or is it just when crafting a whole pick? Does it apply when you combine heads and handles or is it only when you craft a pick directly?
