the help box claims that auto mine will mine as long as the game is open.. that apparently doesn't count if I have it open and check facebook messages. the moment I go to another tab it stops mining until I come back to the minequest tab. is there any fix for that possible? or is that simply because of kongregate.com auto pausing when you change tabs for most games (every game im aware of ) just a thought for something you should look into if that's a bug or not.

A feature that would be really useful :
a way to disable some auto buys in the upgrade when you use the "buy cheapest" button. I mostly idle so if I wanna auto buy I end up spending tons of money in stuff I don't use, slowing down the progression quite a lot.

Games progression atm is boring. The way the game saves is also a little messed up. I keep coming back to the game 10 minutes before I did my own save. I can not idle in this game atm or idle and get back to my recent save. Its just odd and annoying to deal with atm. I am hoping for a update soon to fix some issues + progression.

I was really hoping I had beaten the game after destroying my first Heavenrstone+ but nope, just introduced to Dirt+2. Way too much time wasted. I was really hoping for some type of ending consider how difficult it was to get through the second half of the + series. 1 Star because of FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU rage.

For those who think they've hit a wall, go back a few levels and mine for stones to sell for money, then buy better crafting percentages (the first 3 crafting upgrades) and make more picks.

Suggestion: make combo boost and overkill work for idle dmg too, as they are currently useless, also a natural end to the game would be nice, after halfway through +2 it becomes practically impossible to progress further, as the natural defense rises exponentially, while pick improvements do not. and armor piercing is maxed at 99.98%

In theory the upgrade cost lowers the costs of the upgrades, up to 95% off the original price. Remember, you have to rebirth for it to take effect - you can just allocate where the points will go beforehand.

@MagiMaster if you have the Better Combining skill, it applies when you combine the head and the handle. Since it (like the Better Heads and Better Handles skills) is percentage-based, it acts like a multiplier on the pick's overall power. Assuming you have the gems to spare and have invested in the skill, you'll always get a better pick by crafting the parts separately and then combining them. (Also, if you craft 100 heads and 100 handles and then hit the "sell all but best" button, you'll find the best head and the best handle to combine. This way, getting a lucky roll on just 1 head and just 1 handle gives you a much better pick even without Better Combining when you combine those two.) Hope that helps.

I'd really like an copy-paste-able export.. The game uses quite some ressources, so I have to close this tab to do anything else using flash, like watching a tube video. I'd like to put this game in another browser so that it uses a new instance of the flash plugin, but with no export, that's not possible.
or maybe just make it not lag as much. toggleable graphics for example, so I can turn off the "show each mineral mined" things and such for more performance

Besides the gems, I can't figure out why you'd want to craft heads and handles separately. I always seem to get better picks at half the gem cost if I just craft whole picks.

To make gems more valuable, I think you need something that requires a lot of each type. I suggest adding an upgrade or option that lets you spend 10/100/1000/... of a gem to get better chances at +1/+2/+3/... picks. Additionally, you could add another digit to the chances and make it so that gems can't be combined across colors. With some rebalancing of the drop rates, that should make the higher level gems much more valuable.

The ascension bonuses need to be reworked; all of them except direct damage and armor pen are negligible (and armor pen is only useful fairly late into things when you can max the skill as well). Upgrade cost increases exponentially, so even at 95% reduction you're never more than a couple very minor levels ahead of where you would have been. Combo and starting resources are utterly useless because they'll become entirely obsolete within the first few minutes of your rebirth. Also, it would be very nice to be able to shift-click the +/- buttons.

Could somebody please explain "quality assurance"? Is it useless if you're always crafting handles and heads seperately? I have it maxed but can't see any effect.

Some laptops don't like you hold a key such as R and click. I can't rebirth because holding the R key freezes the mouse

what about a scrollbar on the inventory which basically makes capacity infinite (for ridiculous amounts of pickaxes) and it gets smaller the more different stuff it holds.

Maybe add an option in the Upgrade section to exclude certain upgrades when using 'Purchase all cheapest'. I see no reason to boost Lucky Gems for example beyond the maybe 60% mark, it's a waste of money IMO. This way we can pump the upgrades we want/need without removing the comfort of a quickbuy feature.

Would be awesome if we could "lock" upgrades so we dont' spend money on them anymore when desired level is reached when using the "buy all cheapest" button
