Elf: "How could you follow a king that took down the forest! Our beautiful forest?!"
*The Elf proceeds to upgrade lumberjack to build archers*

Awesome game. Only thing I can really suggest is to have an ability to queue up multiple units you want to create. Like if you click on the Warrior unit 3x you will queue up to make 3 Warrior units.

To beat the last level: Select Shark Waterfalls, immediately upgrade your castle, farm and barracks. Max out your stats for Archer, Warrior and Golem. Spam all three and when the first wave hits use freeze and tell your guys to attack. Stop making Archers and just spam Warriors and Golems until you win. Freeze the first wave again and spam your spells on the subsequent waves to win in around 1:40.

Why do they start with a fully upgraded castle and units every time, but I have to buy the same upgrades I already bought last level?

good game. not exactly my kind, but fun, addictive, and well made. of course, the Doukutsu Monougatari style graphics don't exactly hurt either. props.

Awesome game! I love how the tiny warriors have their own squeaky battle cries. One thing, though. Is it just me or was the last level too easy? I kept spamming the golem and elephant like there was no tomorrow and managed to defeat Alexander while he was in the middle of casting his first Meteor. It took not even five minutes. Am I just lucky? O.o

Call of Duty is too powerful, especially when you're silenced by Null Magic which resets the cooldown. This made Anakyn rock extremely easy, and let me get 50 units out at one time against the joker.

This game is really great. Hot-keys could be added to the game. Maybe allowing the player to choose which numbers or letters on the keyboard for troops, buildings, etc. Also, as Werltiq commented, the game is quite unbalanced. Leveling it out would make the game a lot more defined. The graphics and the over-all the game play is just magnificent; wonderful game you have here. 5 stars.

Ok, I'm normally not bad at games like this, but the enemy seems incredibly over-powered starting with full upgrades for everything. I just keep getting zerg-rushed with crossbowmen and riders and there is nothing I can do to stop it...

Also, one other thing: The elf's "hermes speed" ability claims it grants 800% attack speed. I don't know what it is, but it's not 800%, I can tell you that much...

Maybe add a notice after you click new game double checking you want to save over your current save? Luckily I wasn't very far, but I accidentally clicked on new game and lost my current progress.

Playing through it, and I've noticed four things that would be nice to have: 1) Queuing for units; press the button multiple times, it makes that many units in a row. 2) Actual stats for the units; being able to compare one to the other and tell which is better numerically would help. 3) Active unit counts; the units are all too small and clustered to get an accurate count of how many there are of each type, and keeping x amount of y unit becomes difficult when half of them die and you don't know which half it was. 4) Small glitch in the Defend AI; whenever the units killed someone, they immediately ran back to the castle before attacking the next enemy. This usually ended in them taking more damage than necessary in the process. If these were fixed, this game would be even more great than it already is.

Excellent idea, lack of execution. I like this game, but it could have been so much better! The upgrades system is solid, resource management is fine (tgough I prefer more flexibility), and the visual style was absolutely brilliant. However, units need balancing, and lots of it. The game was a tad on the easy side, and somewhat repetitive. If the opponent didn't start with all the upgrades there would be more varied strategy involved. Now, the later levels are basically spam. Oh, and why can't I play with Alexander as my hero?

This game is super fun but I would like to suggest one tiny change... I don't think it's very fair that our opponent starts with everything fully upgraded. Other than that, this is one of my favorite games, thanks for making ^^

The menu scrolling thing is kind of a pain during the game. Perhaps use hotkeys or show all the units available but change the images to black to indicate that we do not have necessary requirements to build it?

seriously? doesn't matter if i have this one or not (i do). it's still more than a punk move, Kong. what the hell is wrong with you?

4/5 Stars from me for the game. For the final enemy, Alexander Red Devil, you should first upgrade your farm, lumber, and forge to max. Then get Warriors, and upgrade them to max for defense, followed by the towers. What you then want to do is have enough Warriors to stall the first wave of enemies to build up resources. As long as one enemy remains, he wont' summon another wave. Do this until you have everything upgraded, and he stops summoning waves. You then want to just summon War Elephants and Horses, and try to get across the center of the field. If Alexander Red Devil uses Armageddon while your troops are in the middle of the field, immediately switch your troops to Defend, and they will be fast enough to get out of the center of the field, then switch back to attack. Once your War Elephants and Horses are at the enemy castle, you can summon other troops. I hope this helps people.

It would be great to have some sort of trade resources system in place or better balancing. I spent the last few levels with 0 food and 999 wood and metal. Stupid slow farmers...
Otherwise it was a decent game, nice job.

I don't like how my castle has to start from scratch for each battle but the enemy has both a fully constructed castle and 20 horsemen ready 30 seconds after the battle starts :(

Heh, the AI does indeed have some BS advantages like being able to pop out units at a seemingly endless rate. Too bad the AI is really crummy and easy to beat.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
My only suggestion? Once you upgrade a building/unit to max in a level, remove it from the upgrade list, or at least push it to the far side. It would make hunting for which upgrades you have and don't have a LOT easier. But still, great game 5/5

Lex Paladin is the only character you need! Seriously, he's the best! And you really don't need balistas, maaaaybe except for the first level you can build them. Focus on a single type of unit, especially the warriors until you get golem and elephant. On the last level, rely both on elephants and golems. Hope it helps

I beat all but the last level with archers, cavalry, and warriors. It was a little disappointing that I didn't need other units or further upgrades to progress.

Im ok with this game however it's just a long play until Alexander's defeat and I personally don't feel like I'll enjoy the game after watching someone do a playthrough of it on youtube. I was planning on going to the end and killing Alexander but seeing how it went for the other guy I just won't sink my time in it. If there was an overall upgrade system to improve the army and resources outside of each fight then it might of been worth it grinding on defeated foes to make it slightly more eaiser but alas I don't see myself getting it even if its BotD and for Kongpanions.

Okay, I see everyone saying it's easy, but I don't get it... Using Peter Elf Green against Rose Magma Heart, I can send 20 top warriors to attack with the hermes spell, which everyone seems to be saying will work... but they just die. They seem really rubbish actually... why is everyone saying the elf warriors are overpowered?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
On the last three levels, it is key that you spam cheap archers very early. This way, you don't die and you generate more food than you lose.
