its a good game but the population count is to small. if i buy all the special units it only lets me have 5 foot soldiers but concidering he big red armor colored orcs can kill them with two blows and if they get in one group they are very dificult to kill a little too difficult
and the catapult is a little too slow just a little

Really aesthetically pleasing, but there are some bugs and problems with it. As some have already mentioned, sometimes battles end abruptly while the enemies are still alive. The catapult aiming system is annoying as hell and takes WAY too long to reload especially since it's supposed to be the main weapon. Just a simple mouse pointer aiming system would've been satisfactory.

In my opinion catapult sucks - the more you upgrade it, yea, it damages more but ... reloading speed is getting worse and worse. At the end it is almost useless. You only use it to wound bosses and sometiems ranged units (when they are in groups). Too many glitch, very weak plot so ... overall 3/5.

Had a strange bug right now.... Some goblin-archers were taking aim when i opend the "build army" panel. Suddenly, as i returned, the goblins had switched into "minigun-mode" and were firing without any reload time O_o

Not sure if it is a bug, but on the last level an archer got next to the boss and started shooting a solid stream of arrows at the wall. Good Game =]

But i don't like the overpowered chiefs. It sucks that i got killed by some chief while i had 15 good soldiers and a catapult.

Great game, all in all.... but there are two things that really get frustrating: 1) The catapult reload time is way too slow, and gets worse with every level of upgrading.. and 2) The archers should be able to shoot farther than just at the base of the wall. After all, the point of archers is to have a RANGED attack.... if you just want something to cover the base of the wall, make boiling oil pourers or something.

I think there is a bug.. sometimes it says all enemies eliminated.... when their is a group of rude-ass dark elves cutting my guys down.
Not complaining.. just saying.. this game has great potential.. don't want it to be tooo easy...
fix this glitch in combat.. and allow for more than one farm etc.
Make combat difficult.. and allow for more expansion as far as friendly buildings are concerend

I think that this game is really good, the only thing that needs tweaking is how much stone you can get from the mine. It is really hard to do anything without stone and well, it is hard to come by.

Darking10000, Holy Spirit Woken...I have to fix the obvious typo here...means that you can use Holy Spirit in battle once you have 24 casualties during the battle.

Just beat it, I liked that I was ALMOST fully upgraded by the last level and not fully upgraded many levels prior. However, because stone and crystal are so hard to get, I didn't feel like trying out many of the other types of soldiers that need stone and crystal.

Scithen, thanks for the comment. I guess sometimes I was too obsessed with the game balance so that Stone or Crystal became merely an intellectual concept. I'll definitely work on that in the future. The reason for abundance of gold is because of my intention to encourage unit use in this game so that it doesn't become another catapult shooting game. It is too obvious for people to just use catapult, so I hoped to achieve a balance between units and catapult by encourage more unit use.

Two notable bugs.
1. At one point my wall went from full health to 0 in one hit by an enemy orc warrior.
2. The game randomly decides that I've won the battle in the middle of a wave. This happens in the 2nd and the 3rd waves.

well i guess not too easy just kinda lame i like my catapault to fire more than 1 shot every 10 seconds, but then the units own so its ok and an easy win.

n00bsawce, yea, the remaining enemy bases are left open for future expansion because we thought it was critical that we perfect what we have first before we move forward.

Not that I mind or anything, but should I be winning after getting half way through the second round? It says there's no reinforcements, but there's about 10 guys right in front of my gate... 3/5 This game could be a lot better, but it gets repetitive.

level 4 catapult is strong but takes so long to reload because the stpid soldier stands there scratching his head asking himself "now how would that work?" i say just let us fling the idiot and get it over with
