This game's quite a lot of fun! Much better than previous episodes. Idea of balancig everything to fit as many diamonds as possible is huge step forward! 5/5

brenm666, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond - Color: Typically yellow, brown or gray to colorless. Less often blue, green, black, translucent white, pink, violet, orange, purple and red. ;)

i know its gonna look silly but since when are diamonds red?
:P
really good game! better than the 1st perfect balance! the (red) diamonds are a really good idea to make the game longer and more challenging! 5/5

Gozo, your solutions are then superior. When I first played through the game I got something like 350 diamonds... ;) And yes, packs C+ are harder than A & B.

bibliomancer, yeah, I've been updating the game a bit since Tasselfoot made his walkthrough thus some of the exploits he's using don't work anymore...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Thanks, urmelhelble! ;) Still the game might be a bit too difficult for some of the players, but at least we tried. And it's fun to see people getting better solutions to levels than we makers of the game could imagine.

how is 300 diamonds a hard badge??? i just did the a and b pack and i have 250 diamonds already? do the last packs get ridiculously hard to place any diamonds?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Haha, im probably too good for this game, cleared Level pack A, without using the "rotate"-option!
Did not even know it existed! x)

after acknowledging and getting used to some 'bugs', (for example if u place a bigger item into a smaller hole on the wall, it may stand still), i can only tell it's one of the best games on Kongregate i've tried yet. Totally 5 stars.

After all, I have to admit: It's sort of an ideal game. It's clever, it's tricky, it's very challenging - but if you can't keep up with the hardest levels, you still may skip some or have a look at the walkthrough. It may have some physical laws of its own, but once you got the hang of it, it's great fun to use them. Obviously, there has been a developer at work who made every effort to create a game for all grades of players - and you could even play it three times in a row, you would still discover new opportunities. Give it five diamonds ... err, I mean: stars.

Impossible without a walkthrough? There is a walkthrough. I've not gotten past Level Pack A, but I haven't needed the walkthrough. I imagine that at some point the game will get too hard for me, but I would consider that my problem, not the game's problem. Level Pack A is not too hard so far. It does take me some time to figure things out, but then that's why I'm playing the game.

Well, that was fun. Had a lot of variety in the puzzles and can keep you entertained for a while. That's really what a puzzle game should do for you in the end. Well presented, well created, a good, overall high-quality puzzle game that was enjoyable. 5/5

Tass' walkthrough shows some really nonsensical strategies. Things like that shouldn't work. Yet they do. I'm torn by how I feel about this.

when you are placing diamonds, the game only counts the times when balance occurs
so if you put a diamond and get balance then put two more gems. Then if you get balance your total jumps from 1 to 3. But if they fall you lose the two.

Game was great until I got to the E level pack. It was just too hard, I don't know how anyone could have got some of those answers. Oh, and I got the Balanced Diet badge before the Diamonds Take Forever badge! :P
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, Onefoe, I have to revamp my A, B, and C because I wasn't initially aware of that. It's nice, though. It forces you to have to balance each for the points instead of spamming them to balance them on those certain occasions. It's not like there's a time limit once you start with the diamonds, anyway.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you put the diamonds on too fast you don't get the point credit :( Also karmacoma has been flagged for admin review :P

@odintooth
That happened to me. Grade seems to be decided by more than just total score of the pack, but the number of completed lvl in the pack as well.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
XD I didn't realize there even WAS grading. I just thought the superscript S was standard when you finished a level pack o_o ... So I guess I got all S-grades...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's something glitchy about the grades - I got a C on pack A (later upgraded to A) and though I played just as well on B and C packs, I have "F"s on them! The scores are only about 2000 points lower than for A. :)

Good game. To bad I've had to use all of my skips to get past levels which the physics dont work. 3/5. Its good, but....

Got all badges. Over 500 diamond, and 140k total point. All in game achivements.
Its a 5/5 game. Wating for 3rd part.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
quidi, for each level pack you get a grade after you've completed it. The grade is F,E,D,C,B,A,S F being the worst and S being the best. It's based on points, and each level pack has its own limits for the grades.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I just finished A and got a little C (?) score 22540 and 64 diamonds. 2 badges down and 1 to go. I will rate the game later, but this is more fun than PB1 so far...
