Spent the most time on the slalom gates for sure .... only part of the game that was really any challenge. The actual races were easy just get full draft from lead car before you pass. Hitting obstacles was a happy medium tho more monotonous. Maybe have a difficulty setting for the races to make the opponents drive a little faster as the game mechanics are good just needs a challenge.

Apart from the red white and blue colour palette and some stars, I genuinely don't see how the American part of 'American Racing' comes in. I mean I liked the game, but it looks like...you just got a racing game, glossed it over with some American-ish details, and called it 'American Racing'. WHAT A TWIST.

Hit detection could be way better. Sometimes, I miss objects like robots because my car wasn't 100% against it, but it sure as hell hit it.

My ideas to improve game:
Sections in upgrades
More cars
tyres should add handling
OR
individual handling upgrade section

the trick with the slalom levels is to let go the accelerator, point your car in the right direction, accelerate until you hit the game, then let go the accelerator... if you time this *juuust* right, and don't miss too many gates, seems to be enough to get a gold.

Love the game. Tyre degrigation is ok but please can you make it a little bt more realistic so when you are behind another car, it takes the wear levels down a lot (depending on how long you are behind the). That's the only thing that I would say would make it a lot better :D. Overall though, a really brilliant game

My suggestions you can use for this one or for a sequel:
Maps: There needs to be more corners like grand prix go
Difficulty: Add difficulty setting
Tires: Keep the durability if you want and add traction
Engine: Higher top Speed and Acceleration
Brakes: Slows the car down to a stop
Spoiler/Rear-wing: Improves cornering
Driver: Maybe have a story mode and complete different types of drivers beforeyou make a custome one.
For the upgradition you can think about that yourself :D

For those saying the hard badge is... hard, well, you only need to get gold on 30 stages out of 44! Skip the last race, the last overtake mission, the slaloms, the custard pies and the robots and maybe even the haddocks and you'll still get it. For most hit missions, you should just turbo your way through and cover as much ground as you can. Cone are the easiest, just be patient and hit them, using turbo on straight lines. And if you still can't get it, wait until you're better equipped and try again!

Hrrm seems a Bug on the Slalom tracks. After a few it forgets that you passed the gate and doesn't allow you to score any more. On Barry's Bazzoka chalenge 4, it buged at 15 sec leaving me to drive 45sec and score no more.

nice game, but race cars are made to race each other not to slam pies or cones, the last achievement is imposible unless you have the reaction better than a cat, I don't know how those 400+ achieved it. 4/5.

Having the payout change only for your sponsor and not the level's difficulty seems too exploitable. One could get a high multiplier sponsor, grind on the first track and get more than enough cash to buy every upgrade in a short amount of time.

technically aerodynamics should reduce the need for drafting.... since you should have a lower air drag to begin with, right?

I've enjoyed every Turbo Nuke game except this one. The car handles worse than a tank and the camera is right up there with Resident Evil games. Also, the races are way too easy.

I love how you guys try lots of different mechanics and game styles, but please get more music. This is a racing game, the music shouldn't make you feel mellow and sleepy.
