If you are trying for the hard badge, just work on getting top 3 in each race. Once you have the special car, getting first is really, really easy.

It's the little things that count.
1. WTF is up with me having to slow down and they get to accelerate around curves? The last time I checked, cars don't go at constant speed all of the time.
2. The sound effects are so out of sync, it's almost like playing one of Brittney Speare's songs.
3. If you're going to make the scenery interact with the cars, at least do it accurately. Yeesh!

(I want an impossible medal for getting first place on all tracks with the non-special car. I was so determined to "be the best" that I just kept replaying the final level until I got 1st place. Then once I activated the special car [Having already gotten first place on all levels] I was borderline offended at the idea of calling "Addicted to Winning" a "hard" badge. That special car is cake.)

Agreed. Computer cars should not be able to gain speed AND keep perfect traction on the tight turns with the posts when I, with maxed traction, will wreck if I do the same. ALSO: WHY can computer cars not wreck when they hit the posts?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Steering is relative to the track, so you can let up on the arrows much sooner than you probably think, and sometimes negotiate a turn without using the arrows at all! Mastering the art of steering as little as possible, combined with timed boosts coming out of the turns, made the races much easier to play. Yes, you're the only car on the track confined to basic laws of physics, but you're the only one with a boost, too :D

OK if you don't get 1st place in every race try to get 2nd or 3rd in every race to unlock the special car. Trust me the levels you have trouble on you will in in your first try with the special car. freaking car goes like 3 times a fast as your normal one

so i like how, even though i maxed out my handling, the CPU cars still out do me on corners, why is it im the only one that has to slow down? this is stupid
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hmm i love how holding down left or right makes you "drift" and yet it still doesn't turn...I love being thrown out of a turn randomly into a wall even when I press down to brake....theres no point to handling what so ever because you still have to slow down to retardedly slow speeds to not get thrown of by uber centrifugal force....fix your physics engine dude...cars don't drive this way
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm tired of crashing into the wall when I'm only doin 100, then having everyone fly around the corner at 200 mph -.-
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I am not a big fan of racing games but I liked this one. I liked how you could upgrade your engine and then set how much you wanted to go into each of your parts. which I always stayed a little more to the handling which helps a lot on the corners. for big corners try and have a boost ready to go right after so make up for the speed lost. And when going around them crank the wheel let off the gas then tap the gas when you pull away from the wall. One thing that bothered me was I was pretty sure the driving by the side stuff sound effect was the punch sound effect from anther game but I got use to it. Keep up the good work.

Really impressed with this game. The difficulty from start to finish was perfect in my opinion. I loved how you could change which attributes to focus on and the boost charge was pretty cool. Like Juancore said above, it could use a minimap, but it's not a game breaker; the track is really easy to follow. The achievements were so-so, some of them were fun, like 'Cone Finder' and 'Tarmac Lover', but most were pretty plain. When I tried the special car, I was thinking "You've got to be kidding me" when I saw it, but then I got the green light. Haha, I was blown away. Over all, it's a great game. Would love to see a multiplayer. 4/5

The physics is a bit wonky with boosts. I'm at low speed, pop boost to hit 190 speed, then boost wears off, DROPPING me to 170 speed, then I can accelerate as normal to my top speed of 200+
If I haven't hit my top speed, a boost wearing off should not drop my speed.

I still love this game, but the idea that I slow down and they don't when we bump is ridiculous. I assume that the programming would be dumb to implement both of us slowing down, as that would mean a single touch would lead virtually instantly to a dead stop. However, the idea that I can go from 230 down to 170 just because the guy in front of me who was going 190 decided to swerve in front of me, keep in mind that guy is in 10th place, is incredibly frustrating.

Good racing game. It would be nice to have the starting line on the level select screen. Although mini map w/ opponent's positions would obviously be optimal this would be much easier to implement.

What annoys me is that whenever you touch another racer you slow down and they speed up, no matter which angle you touch from. It even happens if they hit you. It's like they're stealing your speed.

"Oh there's a brake. That would have made it so much easier" -My thoughts, after getting the hard badge and realizing there's a brake. "Nope" -My thoughts, after trying the brake.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wow, this game is great. Can't tell what's coming up, can't stop using boost, can't turn like the other cars, slow down if you're hit or if you hit them. Awesome.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is it really that much to ask for that the AI is subject to the same laws of physics as we are, they do corners at max speed without even deviating from their optimal path...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Here's how to get the hard badge: finish top three in all races and use the special car. It's really overpowered. To get top three in all races I used maximum engine. You get some boost for braking, so remember to use the brakes in the curves where you need to reduce speed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
After I unlocked the special car, it hit me - the opponents are all using special cars disguised as normal cars. That's the ONLY way to explain how they haul tail through those curves without slowing, skidding, or crashing like my normal car did.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For the first four races put your car at max speed, then from five - eight when you have the fully upgraded car or there abouts put it on the out side of the triangle half way between speed and control, helps with cornering, use boost on straights or when coming out of corners, never going into them! Also, I had a good laugh when I saw that the supercar is a Mini LMAO

Would be cool that after you paused, and then click on ''Continue'' You have 3 seconds to be prepared, because you need to take the mouse away... >:(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
apparentley, I'm good enough to get medal #8 and beat track 8 in a record-smashing time of 2:02:19, but bad enough to place in seventh. IN THE SAME RACE!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Apparently most of the achievements can't be claimed if you're in the special car. Makes sense, but it would have been nice to know that before I hit the cone in it twice....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Found a trick. Hope this helps anyone who doesn't know it. If you break while turning, and not boosting, your boost bar builds incredibly quickly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Epicly friustrating game, not hard, just badly done. Like, how can I hit a another car at 250mph and just loose some speed and when I hit a bush at 10 mph I explode?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this game makes me so angry when i have to go slow round a corner and everyone zooms past me. DO NOT PLAY IF YOU HAVE ANGER PROBLEMS!
