This game made me think of Road Rash, then when I accidently obliterated another car I went like "Ahhhh Hell Yeah!!!". Amazing how far flash games have come. For people having trouble completing this game, just put all your concentration (in the triangle on the top left middle part so that you get the best balance between maneuvrability and engine. Once that is done, ALWAYS buy upgrade before next level and you will ALWAYS be faster than your opponents until they catch up to you in the last two levels (but at that point your car will be fully equiped). Also Sharpe turns are better done when BRAKING instead of letting go of the accelerator. The boost is also great when you come out of sharpe turn to overcome your opponents. keep this comment alive so that it may help other people!

A nice, clean racing game with few details, but actually fun to race. The only issue is that the so called 'challenge' in the game does not actually come from opponent skill but rather unfair advantages, such as how they can go faster than you and effortlessly make any turn while you're struggling not to crash. This single fault is so crippling at times that I struggle to find a good middle ground between handling and engine. Being forced to sacrifice handling and risk crashing to increase engine power just so you could have a chance at catching up to the first few cars is just horrible. Other than that, fun game. 3/5

Great Score KY Rider.... with "L" plates too. Oh.... sorry didn't realise that the "L" stood for LOSER. Stop fudging scores. Very lame way to post a high score, and only done 'cos your not good enough to post a high score with skill.

"Mini-map? Has anyone of you ever been in such a car?"
umm.... Have you ever heard of a GPS? They're quite common... Also, let's not pull the "It's not realistic" card for a game that resembles a watered down version of Top Gear for the SNES... 6_6

Could do with a minimap with at least the person closest in front and behind you. Being able to turn off KERS would be good, and why do only I slow down if I hit someone from behind *and* if someone hits me from behind?

Mini-map? Has anyone of you ever been in such a car? I don't think so :) I think it's nice that there's no such thing, but if you want to make it a realistic Formula Racer, you should also add a team which talks to you during the race and tells you how distant you are from other racers, at least that would fix the problem of those guys. I got all the badges and I'm happy with the game, it's alot of fun driving with the super car, haha, thumbs up for adding that xD

the lack of a minimap wasn't a problem. the fact that opponents can take turns at full speed, but u hafta slow down (and sometimes crash anyway) was super-annoying. 3/5. fix the stuff and it would have been 4/5 maybe 5/5. i hate it wen peeps complain about a game and give it 5/5.

I really wish the other cards slowed down when they turn. I hate it when I'm doing really well, then when I meet a big turn, I have to slow down to avoid crashing while the other cars just follow their preset path, using their ultimate turning abilities. Then my ranking drops about 8 ranks. This happens even with the highest handling. Plz change.

I like the achievements, car customization, forgiving cash prize distribution and upgrade system, but the crippling slowdowns, unfair AI advantages (steering and bumping) and general hiccups and quirks in the responsiveness of the controls (such as the pause function making you have to press every key again to start driving, making you lose your momentum) make it hard to appreciate this game.

This game sucks 1/5 realy it was perfect until the developer needed to added those strech places when you can crash, you cannot evade them and if you want to pass them you need to desacelerate and everyone goes ahead of you in that moment,it is just irritating.
Also when you hit another car it looks like it steals you speed, even when you hit them in the sides(thank you for being irracional).

Personally, I think the lack of minimap is perfectly fine. It adds a sense of realisticness to the game, as well as not being completely necessary to race effectively. After all, in Nascar, the REAL drivers don't have minimaps that tell them whats coming for them. (And yes, today, those are called built-in GPS systems ;D) Overall it's a great game, and I think a multiplayer version with more customization and upgrade options would be amazing.

here are a few things.1)like everyone says, give us a minimap.2)if a car bounces on me, let him slow down too, im just been slowed while they keep going faster.3)if i can crash, so can they. they just go off track but still keep speeding. for the rest, a great game 5/5

What you could do if your planning on updating the game is
1) Add a mini map so players will be able to see where the opponents are. This will also tell them how close or how far they are from the closest opponent.
2) What you could do is make themes where players will be able to represent certain countries. If its USA for example, the car could be red white and blue with a few stars. Players
3) You could let players choose the color of their cars.
Pretty good game overall.

Everyone else who keeps saying this game is so great has really low standards. The controls are terrible! Over steering while tapping to make a lane change and paying to unlock a new track are major drags. What is really annoying though is that cars who run into me from behind (or side) get jumped in front of me while if I try that, I instantly loose 10-15mph. I wouldn't even rate this game marginal.

Buggy controls, poor AI design (you hit them and they speed up, they hit you and you slow down? wtf mate?!), lack of basic racing game features i.e. minimap or car distance indicators. An average rating of 3.81 is rather generous.

I knew this day was coming but its finally here. A game with badges that's just too graphics heavy for my computer to take. even on low quality. Hopefully there wont be too many of these before I can afford to buy myself a new one, I suppose I could always use the one at work but that's just asking for trouble

Not too shabby for a racing game, actually one of the better ones I've played here, there are some improvements to be made, but they've been said already, so I won't waste anymore time on that. Overall: Nice work.

The best flash-based racing game I've played so far. However, I do have two caveats. First, Handling has so much effect that it's practically worthless. That pretty much eliminates any need to set up the car based on weather conditions. Second, it always rains in Britain, even when the forecast shows 0% rain.

Boost seems very underpowered. I did a split between engine/handling on my first race. I was in first place before half the race was over and grabbed 5 achievements in that first race also.

I was decidedly unimpressed. The races are long, the controls shabby, no minimap, if one of them bumps me, i slow down, they dont. The corners are irritating, the inability to tell where the other cars is galling and overall... there are just many better in this exact genre. =\

needs to be able to choose upgrades. Speed,Acceleration, and handling. Mini map with dots showing where you and other players are.

I love how all the other cars act as road blocks that you can't do anything about. You can't affect them, but they can affect you.
