Lol guys..............suggestion is what about No minimap?Why you ask? cause i like more exciting games if theres minimap i dont like it much so ill just rate this game 4/5 now.ok?

I like how the 'Boost' upgrade shows a turbocharger. Right, b/c with a turbo, you just turn it on for short bursts at a time.

Steering feels heavy and it needs a little getting used to but once you got the hang of it it's great. I found the difficulty just right but I see others are having difficulties beating level 12. To those: Race until you know the track by heart and try to hit those things at the inner side of each sharp turn. To the devs: Maybe the game would be more fun and suitable for a larger audience if the minimap could rotate or you had a GPS dot on it or a co-driver announcing turns (the signs in the tracks are hard to read when driving); basically some way so that you can win without having to memorize the track that well. Bottom line, I really liked it, I liked how you can instantly feel the effects of most upgrades, how the driving felt, that it really makes a difference how you take a turn, etc.

You know, when making a racing game, one should be less concerned about making it look pretty, and more concerned about MAKING THE CONTROLS FREAKING WORK. Especially since it takes you three or four upgrades on "down force" to realize, "No, this isn't just a way of making you upgrade or something; the developer really just didn't bother making sure that the whole 'turning' thing was taken care of. Guess it wasn't important..." Either the turning doesn't respond AT ALL, or you tap it for a millisecond and spend the next three seconds turning right. Seriously. This thing got freaking BADGES?! 1/5

Wow, for the last race I averaged .14 seconds above the "record lap" time on each lap and beat the second place dude by .73 seconds. Fast, man...

this game is pretty bad. i don't know why some people are saying it's the best racing game on kong. the only thing that makes it special is the bad AI, the weird camera angle, and the annoying spinouts. 2/5.

You know what would be nice in this game? If you could make OTHER drivers stop on a dime by bumping into them too. There are too many racing games on Kongregate that are so much better than this for you to justify including this one as well. 1/5.

Tip of life #084: I find by pressing space at the start of the race, you gain a speed and distance advantage. Press "+" So others will see this!

Ridiculous, while using boost no steering, in pro-series, you can't win without ...
and btw.: reached pro-series. how to play a smooth normal race without deleting data?

I find that using boost actually puts me off, I usually end up on the grass or missing my corner and hitting a wall :P

aeiou101 personally if i was chasing times i would play practice instead the only "true" lap records are earned there,in the race its all down to drafting and partially out of your control,but hey each to their own,still a great game :)
