Putting is worse now. It is so much easier to chip it in from the fairway than to try putting, which is totally unintuitive.

im sorry, its a nice game, but i really hate the new "putter-meter" or maybe i dont use it the right way... but putting just got a hell of a lot harder, so i try to get it in, off the green ;(
I'm not sure what could be wrong with it - you line up the ghost line so the ghost ball goes in the hole, then hit 100%

Really enjoy the game, although a couple of suggestions
- If you activate a powerup on the tee (e.g coin magnet ) maybe only set the timer off when the ball is actually hit?
- If you repeat a course the old course's scores are still there, making it tough to work out your current round. Maybe have a previous round/best on hole section?
Great idea for a game though!

Somehow just... no. The more I upgrade the less consistent the shot meter is... the ball never stops where it is indicated. Can't aim too high, can't spend time looking at the full screen, and I find myself collecting coins and scoring haddocks. Somehow it forces me in the repetitive way rather than being amusing. Upgrades don't feel awesome either. Maybe it's just me.
What do you mean, the ball never stops where indicated? Do you mean on the putting? I find it stops exactly where indicated.
In normal play it DOESN'T tell you where its going to stop, just the general direction.

@ turbonuke, i think it was just a 1-off its working fine now. Ive now become 1st place in both tournaments, but the ending seems a bit dissapointing, no prizemoney, not even a mention i came first apart from that screen. It might also be good to include a 'choose course' mode, as id like to reply some of the levels but not have to beat every level prior just to do so. otherwise brilliant game, love it
the putting is basically too hard for flash gamers. We're gonna change that.
Magnet powerup: what actually happened? the coins are supposed to move towards the ball when that's active.

also, i wanted to say that you have a really cool concept here. i want to like this game more than i do, but i feel it has a few design flaws that are greatly holding it back. i find that since i am shooting beyond the viewable distance of the screen quite often (especially as you power up) that you're essentially in a crap-shoot for your ball to have a good path. :/

when you're shooting, it tells you yards to the pin, but it'd be a great addition if it also told you your club length, so you know when not to overpower the shot or to choose a lesser powered shot

OK, the stats pages are a bit wack. it takes a bit long for the end of hole page to accumulate, and if you press the play button, it just skips it instead of letting you see an immediate total. the lips on the holes are a bit unforgiven, and could be made to be a bit nicer for the player. a lot of the greens are really unforgiving in some situations. it would be nice to address that, especially when you are approaching from far enough way that you can't see the green. it really sucks to be extra punished in those situations

Sorry for adding this many comments, it is just that I keep noticing stuff :) A restart course function of some sort would be awesome, now you have to go back and restart the course from main menu.

Also, here is a really great tip... Either add challenges to the game where you can earn coins or lower the cost of items. Paying first 5k then 10k for the last two tiers of gear is insanely expensive and seems to take days.

When you try to aim high the screen loses focus since the mouse goes above the actual game screen... Fix that or put full screen mode possibility on? Annoying you cant shoot high.

also, it sucks that you can move the aimer with your mouse out of the screen, but you can't shoot with the mouse out of the screen.

yeah the putting is really bad... very hard to judge. i don't like that the guy has to completely wait for the ball to stop rolling before he runs after it. it might be better if he just ran after 5 seconds. you can get really penalized for a slow roll

I agree the putting is ridiculously hard. It's supposed to be easier. Tri color coding the power bar, then showing that color on the directional display in the play area, so if you see what power will land in the hole. It also might help if the ball was held to the ground more strongly (higher gravity or some other special physics) when you are putting. I don't often see puts bounce or roll into the air when I golf.

I encountered a bug on Snowy Mountain...I landed on the ice and my ball stopped, and my guy ran up to it, and the game froze.

Bug: if you re-play the same course, the old scores for each hole remain displayed on the score card the second time.

If you don't know how far your putter can hit, a percentage swing gauge doesn't really help. If it showed distance and not a percentage that would be much better.

Okay this is a great game but a few VERY frustrating points. Your aimer says for 100% that it will land in the cup, instead it bounces out of the cup. An opponent though hits it from farther away than you did and they land perfectly in it with no bounces. How in flying **** does that work?

There definitely needs to be some kind of better gauge for putting. You'd think 50% would do half of the entire flashing line, but it doesn't even come close. Maybe it would help if under the practice menu, there was a putting practice??

I think this is a bug or its just unfair. When ever you pause the game on the tee off and then unpause it your character will hit his ball. And that's very annoying because then you have to restart that round.

The boat and the ice prove to be very buggy in the continuity of the game, because they prevent the player from playing on - the ball simply sits there.

Here's a bug, I landed on the ice and wasn't able to keep playing. The power bar is running, but everything else just stopped.

Putting seems to be too much of a gamble. It would be nice if the directional line would be coloured to give a general idea on how the amount of power changes the distance.

When it comes down to it, I think an upgrade teaching my guy to run while the ball is moving would be better than that $10,000 pair of shoes.
