To get the best round score I used the +2 bounce man and bought the +10% power, flight boost, and stop powerups. Use the +10% and flight on your tee off then the stop powerup just above the hole. Also if you hit a bad shot just reload the game to continue from the start of the hole.

If you are going for the hard badge and hit a bad shot reload the game and you can continue from the start of the hole

It's a fun concept, but then the long waiting times for everyone else to shoot, the failure of the "end now" button to do anything satisfactory, and the frequently frustrating physics make this a chore to play. Also, as another player said, the other golfers are just irritating and don't add much to the game other than chaos.

Jumping on the lost saves bandwagon. Needed to cut down 6 seconds on one course and I would've had the hard badge too.

The AI alwas makes way rediculous shots from far out, either holing it out or getting a good bounce. so hard to actually take less shots than them

(cont.) To get the "Stony Beach" part of the Hard badge.
1. Upgrade everything to the fullest $5000. I say even the putter, I actually used it on one hole when I got the hard badge, and it gives you "Shot Skill" which helps overall as well.
2. Give yourself a several thousand $ buffer for buying and rebuying powerups. Give yourself enough extra for piece of mind (I started my attempt with $5000+, even though I ended with about $4000 left).
3. I recommend Airboost, Power Swing, and Super Stop for each hole. Use the first two as you tee off for 120% hit plus a bit extra from the boost. Use Super Stop if necessary as the ball is over the hole.
4. Get a hole-in-one on Par 3 holes, and two strokes for the Par 4 and Par 5 holes.
5. Not sure if it matters, but I used Cory McSaveloy as my person for the Run boost.

To get the "Stony Beach" part of the Hard badge. You must do this as individual holes, by exiting and continuing as necessary. Exit a level if the wind isn't right (you want at least 4 MPH going with you for shorter holes, and at least 6-8 MPH for longer holes). If you mess up at all and your time for the hole will be more than about 40sec, exit and retry. This time is for the Par 4-5 courses, Par 3 courses you need to hole-in-one, which should result in about 16sec time for that hole.
Numbered tips in next post.

For people wanting to know how to unlock the "Double Coin" powerup:
You need to hit with the putter (this is why hole-in-one's don't count; you used the driver for that), but you DON'T have to get it in the hole, or even keep it on the green. So the best set up is to have the ball on the green up on a hill. Then just hit it down the hill as hard as you can (go for 110%) with the longest line you can make. If the ball has gone far enough (70 yards I think) by the time the ball comes to a stop, you will unlock the powerup.

People have probably posted this before, but I think there should be way to play with other players and not just computer made opponents.

when I hit a hole in one I want fanfares, fireworks, ticker-tape floating down and hot dancing girls! not a very small sign that disappears the second it flashes up.

I'm not one to criticize unduly, but anyone who puts a game here should at least be open to suggestions, so here's mine. Take some of the blind luck out of it. I know I say it over and over; well, that's because it's true. Too much luck and chance spoils it. There are going to be unfortunate bounces, I understand, but fewer extreme slopes, fewer water hazards, fewer obstructions knocking the ball back 50 yards (that was the final straw for me). Reward accuracy and course knowledge, not getting the right lucky bounce at the right time. More realistic physics and a somewhat larger hole would also help, not to mention being able to putt greater distances. Little things, to be sure, but they matter. Good effort; right now not a favorite. 3/5

Ya know whats crazy? Stony Beach is actually harder...a lot harder. It's 95% hills, sandtraps, water, rough, more hills...etc. But that's one the you have to do in 350 seconds...that time is just absurd. This is one of the most difficult badges in..a very long time. Sunny Andrews is still difficult, but with practice and upgrades, it's possible, but the beach...just..damn. 9 holes in 350 seconds. It means you have to get an average of about 35 seconds per hole..which..if you've played some of them (Graveyard, Boatyard) is just ludicrous. Great game but this badge is nuts. It will be well earned once I get it.

it's third time that my saves got deleted (only in this game) and i'm pretty sure i've not deleted them... not 3 times...

Also not a fan of the put fisics here.. ball boncing is great till you get on the hole... then you could get even a 100% shot and it still bounce out.. or end up out of bounds territory kinda irritating.. (grass cant be a little more frictiony ?)

Inventive, creative, engaging, and fun. A good all around game, probably their best since the amazing cyclomaniacs. Really a very good play, thanks!

getting the speed on the second course is way easier than the first. easily got it on the first try after trying on the first for quite some time.

It seems like the player gets the short end of the stick in terms of physics engines, because the npc's you play against DO NOT REACT THE SAME WAY.

Hey, I lost my progress! Didn't delete any temporary files or whatnot, does anyone know if there's anything I can do about this? =)
