Once you understand the game, it's interesting, with plenty of strategy required. Sadly, the tutorial doesn't really explain it that well, so it took me a few levels to work out how to actually play it well.
As has previously been stated, the grammar is a little off, and the story could use some improvement, but overall it's a pretty good game.

I really like it, despite my general hatred for matching games. Better instructions and an undo button (or optional confirmation button) could make this game better.

Game looks interesting, but not interesting enough for me to figure out how to play. Too bad it doesn't have a tutorial.

the two endings i discovered (melvin wins and melvin loses) are really quite something. i prefer the "melvin wins" ending. that one's really touching.
The game is also original and innovative. i like the match-wait-charge mechanics.

It's funny how you get a lucky launch and defeat the enemy in like 2 minutes and the characters said that it was a tough battle XD

Great way to NEVER tell us that we have to double click the little f***ers to make them attack!
Amateur hour all around.

Has anybody won the "no upgrades" achievement? Does it mean no upgrades to the character (turn number, reserve number, life) or no upgrades to the units? Or does it mean no upgrades at all? Is it even possible or did the developer just put it in to see who would go for it?

I was surprised by what happened at the end of the final battle if you loose. I like the thought you put into this game. Well done.

not bad but need a better tutorial... take a bit of time to know how to make our minions charge ( was spawning the lauch button and why it dont work) Then it was ok. Then the lvl become harder and harder. Then I say the shop.
Thanks, really appreciate your sentiment ^^. Although I think the story of Louvre and his friends is already completed in this game, I do have several idea for the next sequel with this world setting and mechanism :)

A good game, but the tutorial could be just a bit better. It suffers from stuff happening in the background and thus causing it to potentially auto-skip dialog. It took until about the second to last battle to realize that charge power was how much power you got per turn of charging, not how much you got for finishing the charge. Also, some of the abilities are unclear. I'm still not entirely sure what defend success and failure mean, and if -1 charge is a good thing or a bad thing. Finally, the grammar needs some serious work. Even with those problems, a great game overall.

We need to be able to either jump rows (cost 2 movement) or else be able to add to the end of a stack to move past...

I really enjoyed the game, definatly a good way to pass the time when sitting around in the classroom with nothing much to do.
Good job developers!
