Some means of using an insane amount of gems to buy wussie mode or whatever to the game would be nice... Towards the end you can afford all the upgrades anyway but might get completely stuck since there's nothing left to buy.

I pretty much like this game! Short, but intense shoot'em up. But around the last levels you get to much research points to spend on nothing. I think you should put in one or two more levels to weapons, or 1-2 new weapon.

I liked this game, don't get me wrong, but it has some problems. It was overly easy. I didn't die all through out. The only weapons really worth buying are long range and maybe mid-range if only for the auto shotgun. I didn't like how powerful the guns were, especially the minigun. Once you unlock the minigun, which doesn't take long, it took me to level 5, it's ridiculous. It's like you're completely untouchable. The bosses were boring and all 3 felt the same. You just had to kite them and spray them down with the minigun. By level 12 I'd purchased everything. And I used the crappier short range weapons just because they made the game somewhat difficult. But, out of all of these problems, the games good design made it actually really, really fun. I enjoyed it, in spite of it being somewhat boring. It has potential, but maybe in a sequel make it more difficult, and give the bosses some more variety? 3/5

get the pistol, get the rifle, get the minigun.. circle around and shoot.. collect coins.. kinda gets boring.. can i just read the whole story? i'd enjoy that a lot :D

I hate the fact that there's a "Cheat!" button at all times while in the shop. It's no better than the "Stuck? Click here for walkthrough!" in puzzle games. What's the point in playing games if you don't have to play it.

There should be a remap of the keys...I don't use the wsda, I use the arrows, and trying to switch back between the space bar is annoying. you should change it so that right shift could be used to pick up drops too.

so i found a cool little *glitch* with the junkyard level i believe if you have the upgrade to had more drops you can get those pink wizard guys to drop you unlimited amounts of money with the bombs they shoot. ive been running around them and have just been making bank off all the money and stuff they drop so its an easy way to get some gems for upgrades.

Aha, madville is a mad game indeed! not into this type of game but i had a few minutes to spare and this gem filled them perfectly!! Great Job Umut!!

i finished game with 85 unused points. bout all mid and long range weapons, no close.
IF there where more options, like speed increase, funny random or boss modes, all of them at once ... That would be freaking awesome. Achivements and you have 4/5. Great Game !

hitting space is no big deal...
i like the option to chose my weapon and it is no big deal, dosnt disturb my gameplay at all. i dont see why you have to make such a quick and sweet game more afford less~

Tip: If you're playing on a laptop without a mouse, focus more on the bladethrower. Just place the pointer at one of the corners of the screen, create a train of enemies until none come out and click once or twice. No aiming required. Also, when it's used this way, it's the longest lasting weapon in the game.

There is really no reason to force a player to hit space to pick up SOMEE e upgrades and not others. I don't put my thumb down when I play, so it is extremely annoying to have to do it. Makes it less comfortable tpo play for long periods of time, so I don't. At first, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and said it was because you might not want a certain gun. But that doesn't explain the health upgrade. Then I though, well, what if your health was already full. Fine...most games simply don't pick it up if your health is full. Besides, if it was done so players had the option, then why make picking up 2X damage automatic? There are times that I already have 2X damage, and would want to wait to pick up a second one to get it for longer. But I can't.
Often times, being different from other games just for the sake of being different doesn't work out. Forcing players to hit space is one of those times.

liked the concept but it will be better if the boxing gun had some upgrades as well. I was hoping for some long range extension.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Currently the close range weapons are almost useless, but if you made it so while wielding one you would take 1/2 or 3/4 the damage you normally take.

Very fun game, but way too easy. I went straight for the minigun and never had to buy another weapon. I had maxed out armor and additional upgrades by the time I got to the Junkyard. Minigun + Increased Supply Drops = Winning. I would definitely like to see a higher difficulty with additional upgrade options (right now I've got around 50 upgrade points that I can't spend). Overall though, this is a great start for what could eventually be a very fun and addictive game!

Fun game. Some suggestions: make more stuff to buy. I ended the game with 80 points left. Also: it was a bit too long. 10 levels would have been fine. The difficulty really fell off in the middle of the game: I had everything bought by level 12 without dying and was just blowing up everything. It didn't really get hard until 15, which was a lot of fun. Also color code your gun types. And don't make me hit space, just let me run over everything, it's too hard with the frantic action going on.

rather easy and dull. manged to make it without dieing once (though there were some close calls) and later in the game it seems like you only get story until you are about half way through and then there is no more until the 'resolution' after the last level.

@Scrabber123 Sometimes I'm at full health but I know i'll get hurt soon, then it's nice to know there are some health packs laying around.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just skip the first two weapon branches and go only for gun, machine gun, and mini gun, the other weapons aren't as good except may be the middle range auto-shot gun
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it was...different but for anyone whose somehow having trouble, get the shotgun (and max it asap) then go down the long range group and buy everything, throw a point in the vacuum thing and armor whenever
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Here are some suggestions:
1.) Add Achievements, and maybe when you earn them you get research points, or some kind of new currency that can buy different upgrades.
2.) More upgrades and guns.
3.) Maybe upgrades for temporary drops such as slow motion or invisibility (where you go semi-transparent and the enemies can't see you)
4.) Different default weapons to purchase (doesn't necessarily have to be any weapon you can buy)
5.) Survival Mode when game is over.
6.) Hats.
I can't wait for the sequel to come out, this is one of the few games I played through and never got bored :D.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good game, but got sick of having to hit the space bar to collect things highly irritating. Who would choose not to collect health? Other than than great
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
So let me get this straight: Buying weapons still means you start off with the boxing glove, and you can't start with a weapon, but it allows them to drop, right?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I didn't die a single time in this game, way too easy. You should make it so that you only get close range weapons at first, and you can only get better weapons when you've already got a weapon. If you don't get a new weapon, you start over with the default weapon.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe give us something to spend research point on later levels? Like start with an unlocked weapon for X resarch points.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
as others have said, you really cripple yourself from the start by picking close range weapons. Also what happened to the story? No offense to the creator but that was the main reason why I went through the levels is to see more of the whacky story... then it just stopped.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Very fun game, I especially like the backstory.
In future installments it would be nice to be able to disable guns that you no longer want to drop so you don't accidentally pick up a pistol when you're trying to grab a health pack.

it's really hard to play it on a netbook with no mouse, just the touch pad and wasd .. move, shoot, space .. but i had fun woth this game :D 5 stars
