OH MY GAWD! You used the Medallion of Spirit from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as the icon for the Mapping Orb! Still love the nostalgia.

"Oh look at that, he just vanished into an impressive poof of fire and smoke, i hope i made the right choice, good is better than evil, right?"
lol best quote ever xD

-the whole vampire story seems to be amenable to be made into a "side-line" quest. Perhaps giving the character the possibility to become a vampire or at least talking about "incredible power" in the vampire Throne would be enough to make it more interesting. And you shouldn't gain access to the next vampire quest until you've completed the previous one (ie. reached the purple chest). Add a dracula-like monster at the end and maybe a vampiric butler or something midway, and a plot twist allowing you to choose to become a vampire once you vanquish Dracula by drinking his blood could be pretty cool
-make some unique pieces of equipment that never spawn twice
- PLEASE, explain how crafting works! Like... dumb it down for me, with a step by step description. =)

some suggestions:
-try to make the "side quests" fit in a bit more with the storyline
-add a difficulty setting... I'm finding the game a bit easy now
-populate the dungeons with more than one monster type, or at least add bosses here and there - so far, it's just been fighter archer or mage of one specific race each time
-perhaps adjust the difficulty curve in order to provide people with an incentive to do the side quests and train a bit more before moving on

this is a finely polished game which surely took lots of work and effort, and which, with a few small adjustments, could easily become a classic, if not one of the top played flash RPGs. Congrats on a job well done, and keep up with the fine tuning :)

is it just me, or did anyone else notice the rug shapped like a nazi swastiga inside the demonic cultist base? LoL xD

I say this game has many good features that can make me play for hours. Using some of the features of pet protector and others makes this game deserve a 5/5.But the problem for me is that it keeps lagging after 10 minutes or so, which also later on slows down my gameplay dramatically, so I will give it 4/5 for now.

Not everything seems to function as they should. A weapon I had, for example, gave +5 to protection. I equip the weapon - and my protection doesn't go up.

Ive noticed with a female base all your opponents have a female body, even the guards with beards... >.> So I get to fight bearded ladies! Woooohoooo!

"Bleed: The enemy takes damage equal to 5% of its maximum health per turn for three turns." I made a Mind Flayer bleed, and he took 2 damage per turn. His max health was 20, and 0.05 x 20 = 1, quite precisely...

BUG REPORT: Part 1) When I buy recipes in the store, they don't show up in my recipe book at my house. Money down the drain. Part 2) When I hover over some unknown recipes in the crafting menu with "?" icons, the recipe and name displays on the right hand side when it should be hidden. Seems to be fairly random.

This game is sooo repetetive. You might as well just make the battle scenes automated. 5/5 for brilliant concept and well executed graphics but I give it an overall 3/5 just because it's mind-numbingly boring to play.

The construction tab in crafting is all messed up for me. It'l randomly add or remove items necessary for creating something, and i cant just click it, i have to drag drop the items. Also i can see how to make other items i don't have the recipe for, but the success rate is NaN and the req items change for that too.

Love the expansive, open-ended 'you can do anything' feel to this... but it's far too easy, particularly for the OCD crowd. As in "I just switched to a weapon I have all of 5 points in and I still can't freaking die" easy!

OH MY GAWD! You used the Medallion of Fire from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as the icon for the Threat Orb!...Okay now it's definitely lazy, but still epic...

I had 2 hitpoints left, got a treasure chest with +10 max HP in it, and instantly died as I entered the next battle. No attacks were made. Just dropped dead. Sweet.

Combat takes WAY too long. The "random number generator" (if you can call it that) seems to be against you all the time. I'd do better with just rolling some dice regularly. And moving about on the map is just slow. It could be a good game, but you're going to spend most of your time watching your character miss, and hit a lot of 1s.

I really Like the game but i spotted a bug on the "Hold the Rift" Defense Quest and the last enemy stayed on the right side of the screen and stayed there and i can't hit him... if i don't finish this quest then i can't go on with the story please fix it :)!

Reminds me a bit of Nethack in its crazy expansiveness and wide range of things to do.
I have been playing this for a few hours (always a good sign of a good game) and I still have no idea what most of this game is about, mainly crafting and defense stuff is kind of not what I've done. I like that you have thrown in different paths for the character to take, though haven't played enough to see if they are really "paths" or just different selections of options. Either way, it is evident that you put a hell of a lot of work into this. Great job.

Huge problem: I failed at a Defense Quest three times (specifically the one with the well-dressed thieves), and I still received the reward (Top Hat) three times. I have yet to actually beat it...
