Ridiculously easy. Start with Holy Paladin, take out all but 8 gold mines, 6 peasants, a crystal mine and a parting gift. Later on put in another parting gift if you get it (in later games the enemy will overwrite your global enchantment sometimes, but never more than once), and swap out a mine for a dwarven boon or any other "instant free gold" card -- by no means necessary though. Play all gold first, then crystal, then draw cards, then 5 peasants, then spam 20 peasants. Play parting gift as soon as you can, then spam your remaining peasants. You have won (whether they die or not).

has anyone ever been fighting the undead opponent and have the game basically over load with all the skellies being summoned from his global enhancement card? just had that today XD. i was having characters i didn't even have the cards to running out of my portal at the time my computer said it was time to abort the script :P

Seems like guaranteed 1 legendary for 2000 is a rip. I bought 5 20 packs for 2300 each and got 7 legendary, along with 93 other cards. Also, I'm curious if you tried programming an AI so that it would play an actual deck, instead of just sending out a preset list of units. It might be worth adding to take the game to another level.

There is definitely a bug here, I'm trying to finish the last battle (Elder Gornash) and I have 3 X's for all other battle, but even though I beat him 6 time in a row, I cant have the last X.

Very nice game, disagree on the gold part. I've managed just well without gold mines at start or early game. There are enough cards that can compensate for that. crystal based cards or iron based cards for instance. And there are cards that reward gold :D

I enjoy all your games, undefined, and this one is no different. Only slight problem I have is that the battles have a time limit. I hate when you are not getting Gold Mines, but then finally you start to make a comeback but then lose because you run out of time. An option to disable the time limit, if the player wished to, would be cool. Keep up the great work!

This is an excellent game and I would love to see more like it. The gameplay is fantastic. There are unquestionably a variety of strategies you could use to win. And there is just enough luck to add some variety. The out of combat UI could use a couple tweaks (stack identical cards, sort by type AND rarity) but this does not detract much from the overall experience. I hope the developer makes a sequel.

Just had a game where I ran out of cards with 2:30 remaining and won because the opponent didn't play anything either. Pretty boring waiting it out though.

good game but a few things, most of these have already been said but, gold is too important for one, also if u dont get all three mines near the beginning of the game ur practically dead, plus archers have an obvious advantage over averything else, as someoone lese said maybe their miss rate could be raised but the main thing i would like to see is a multiplayer

Just a damn good game all around and i wish i didnt have a shittty acer so I can play it at its full offer. TIPS get as much gold and as fast as you can then buy the best cards you can for your deck (Bandit scout to me is the ultimate card, many of them not to $$$$ takes no crystal or iron and very fast with definate power

Poorly designed game. I finished it with just my original cards. Keep restarting battles till you start with 3 gold mines. Keep playing cards and hoping for gold mines till your card deck is completely full (i.e. you can't play any other structure cards). Then play the strongest char you have (to open a slot), and try for more gold mines. Keep doing this till you have a full slot of 5 of the best chars you had. Next use a calculator and figure out how much gold in TOTAL you need to play every single character (i.e. cost * number). Just let the computer keep sending units, and you keep ignoring him. Wait till you have that much gold + extra if you can (extra gold is if you are doing OK on health, then keep waiting and doing nothing). Then spam all your chars at once (as fast as it will let you). If you have extra gold add some more chars, and play them too as fast as you can. You win. Never send chars one at a time - it's a total waste of money, send them all at once, or none at all.

Best score is 3870, can't seem to beat 4000. The seconds remaining bug is killing me. 6 minutes remaining becomes 153 when it should be 360 x 2 or 720 :-(

Here is a formula I use to compare the power of different cards:
2xDamage + 2xDefense + Health + 10xRange - Speed - Total Cost - Unit Cost

There seems to be a problem with the "seconds remaining" calculation after a fight. I finish a fight with over 7 minutes left, but it tells me I have around 200 seconds remaining...

7 barbarian, 4 reapers bounty, 13-15 dwarven boon (or coin purse if you dont have the rares), 23 gold mines. wins at around 1900 every time!
