It's very bugged. I have HP regen, I have 4 HP left, the opponent does 4 damage, but I regen for 1. It said 1HP left, but then get the window that I lost. And now I got another error, I just made a mega combo and it shows now just a ! on the screen.

After all of that effort, after fighting numerous baddies, after striding bravely into the fiery pit of hell itself, all i have to show for it is a shop full of coal and an unsellable rusty longsword!

The various storm spells are broken - they do damage in addition to everything else. Load up on the spells that sweep the board of one element, and a little Healing Match and Extra Turn bonus, and the game gets stupidly easy. Even early on you get Fire Storm, Wealth, Eternal Rage... you're down to only 4 elements on the bottom half of the board - easy to make big matchups and chains. With all of the storm spells, Eternal Rage and wealth, you're looking at 5-10 turns in a row for around 25 damage each and massive healing. Nothing stands a chance.

Kind of a bummer that the last few levels just yield coal instead of these incredibly awesome items that keep getting better. It like a bad xmas with all this coal in my shop. D:

After going against what everyone in the comments said, i decided to play this anyway, to get the badge of the day. However after playing for a little while I'm actually starting to enjoy this game. It's an interesting concept however it not everyone's style of game. So before anyone passes this up based on reviews you should give it a few minutes of your time.

After we clear all 24 adventures and pay off debt, can we get some sort of "congrats you did it" or maybe a visit by dad? Because after you clear all adventures and payback the debt, game is finished, you know?

There is no mystery why you can't sell the first sword. It's clear Undefined made it this way to avoid hundreds of silly complaints like "I was dumb enough to sell all weapons I had on my savefile with 100+ days and now I can't do anything to win another one. Help I'm stuck..." So you should just accept it's for your own sake :P

It would be nice if the items had categories (reagent, treasure, etc) included in their descriptions. It's sometimes difficult to figure out which items I need to put up on days with bonuses to selling certain categories.

getting rid of debt was stupid. was a good add to the game because it gives gold a greater purpose. now because some kids whine about it we lose it. its not even that hard to pay off.

Tips: "Wealth" is a great spell to earn treasure points. Get blue gems upgraded enough (around 15~?) to get 8 points for a 3 combo and use wealth at the beginning of the round for easy treasure. /// Do not overfarm the last 3 stages. All they drop is coal. /// Overfarming the first stage on the last list seems to be the best to farm. (River's End) /// Nymph's Spellbook from the River's End can be used till the end of the game. /// Overfarming can be done up to 15 times max, as you can do 2 attacks + 6 "Sneak Attacks" and 8 "Cold Snaps." Overfarming is where you hit the enemy again after he is dead, giving you loot/gold as many times as you can hit them while they are dead.

But... but.. I was about to pay off the debt. I was at 12k, getting about 6k from opening the store. You.. you REMOVED IT!

Adding to @accordingleaf's advice of using the Sneak Attack spell and casting it during your first turn to kill the enemy three times... you can cast the spell again. And again. And again. Untill you run out of green mana or rage. And there was a blue mana spell (forgot it's name) that deals 4 damage to the enemy and doesn't end your turn. You can also add that to your killing streak. That way, you can kill the enemy a TON of times.

A great set of spells is this:
Energy Storm - uses all energy gems for mana and damage
Fool's Gold - converts all gold gems to poison gems
Poison Storm - uses all poison gems for mana and damage
Sneak Attack - Gives extra turns for weapon attacks
Planned Assault - uses all rage gems for rage
A big-ass weapon - uses all that yummy rage for tons of damage.
Stock up your character with damage bonuses and some regeneration and you're pretty much set.

having just a handful of loot for each long round makes grinding near the end boring, and with the sudden leap in difficulty one needs to grind in order to afford the necessary upgrades. so in the end i'm leaving that hard badge for another day if at all because of that.

I neglected my debt until the very end of the game. It is now at 75,564 gold and will increase by 378 this day. Fortunately, after 1 modest hunt I have made 111,198 gold. Although the compounding interest may be scary, it will not grow so out of control that you can never pay it off.

Please add: 1) All combinations of 5-of-a-kind. Account for a 2-vertical/2-horizontal and then sliding one in to match both. That is a 5 of a kind, and should heal you. 2) Gems Matched counter - This would alleviate many people's complaints about "grinding" since you know how far you are. 3) Enemies Remaining Counter - I'm only on the 3rd mission and my counting skills clearly aren't good enough. It will prevent future mistakes. 4) A "bestiary" and/or "inventory encyclopedia" that gives a better idea of what there is to sell, what they do, and what they're worth. 5) For combat, put the Surrender, Scramble, Enemy Counter, and Match Counters all in one bar where the Surrender/Scramble buttons are now. Then the playing field isn't impacted and there's a lot more value to the player. Love the Gem Match idea paired with the economy system idea!

I find that some of the 'transformation' spells glitch out the board if you end up with six or more in a row, such as 'fools gold', et cetera. FUN GAME though.

I love how the items I get for paying off my dad's debt don't even equate to half of the over 25k I paid off.... wtf, that really disappointed me. I thought rushing to pay that off would entitle me to god gear, not meh gear.

nice puzzle/rpg! but as they said soul drain is bugged, and the creep hp more than doubles (50-120!!) after the swamp quest o.o! i.e difficulty goes waaay up! @@!

I dunno why people are still having trouble with saves. Mine works fine, although it seems to be a user issue. If you check RPG Shooter Starwish and Villainous's descriptions, they both have a help guide if you keep losing saves, since it's an issue with your internet's files not keeping flash game saves (which is what every non-multiplayer game on this site is).

I wish venom touch did stack. Even with whatever bonus I have to boost it, against the 500 hp, it doesn't feel like it's doing anything...

it would be nice if you could by items as well, like better armor, instead of waiting for a random chance, it makes the debt just go higher and higher.

The Damage increase description is wrong. It actually increases ALL attacks by that %, not just melee attacks and definitely not by the static number (otherwise using 2 damage 2 rage cost weapons would own face with the +50 damage increase)

I really liked the debt gave me a reason to play, and come back to this multiple times to try to achieve something. Now that there is no debt, there is no reason for me to play. I'll waste my time on other games instead.

Extremely playable, but buggy as hell. I left it for a couple of days when I got stuck on 20th level, and after I came back, all the enemies were dying like crazy after first two or three hits, and then their ghosts were following me throughout the rest of the game, even into town. I had a translucent corpse lying in the right down corner in my shop. Very Macbeth like, I have to say.

HOW TO EAT FOOD: In the Armory, next to your gear there is a potion icon, click on that to eat your food from your inventory.

Best attack setup for later levels: Highest damage melee weapon available currently(example- nymph's spellbook[40dmg]), ice, fire, energy, poison storms, wealth and eternal rage(these spells allow you to wipe gem table in every turn) use storms to clear table, wealth to remove coins and build treasure chance(150+ is average). Then use eternal rage to max out rage pool(bigger pool=better)and attack until you are out of rage. And repeat. In this setup you can easy kill any enemy. ALSO----> guide to beat Unholy Temple First you have to pay debt and get reward gloves and hat. Hat gives you 80% chance to heal on math3, glover regeneration 3. Then grind River's End(every adventure location provide different variety of items) and check loot. You need to wear certain items to get 100% heal math and highest possible regeneration(I've got 7 per turn). Wear Nymph's Spellbook, Eternal rage, Fire and Ice Storms(Energy and Poison are awarded later) and Wealth(other 2 spell slots aren't important).
