Under rating threshold (show) In response to abysssoft: Energy syphon self targets hitting all units in range. Game is fun but i never got far enough to see much unit variety. Perks, closer to skills in normal implementations are bland. More interesting Perk/Skill System is needed. More information range ext. are need in all displays. Difficulty curve is insane. Skill targeting especially low range ones sometimes bug out not allowing corner or up/down targeting on wasp and bomber respectively. Grinding would be a senseable curve fixer.

Under rating threshold (show) Oh my, all I have to play are two unwinnable levels and there's no way to grind more levels or XP. Solution? There is none! Undefined, I've always loved your games, but there HAS to be a way that you can allow level replays. The game is very fun and addictive as is, but having to restart because of some bad choices isn't going to encourage people to play this for very long.

Under rating threshold (show) Great mechanics. Horrible difficulty curve. New units are near impossible to level due to the inability to replay lower level missions with them. At least make the new units have a level that starts appropriately for the area they're sold at.

Under rating threshold (show) If I could grind on the levels, it'd be a lot better. Otherwise you can end up trapping yourself in an unwinnable game. And that's never fun.

Replayable levels 2. show trees for weapon upgrades, and needs to show range so i don't waste valuable points on useless weapons 3. Leveling up your ships makes only a small difference, so make them more drastic

Under rating threshold (show) I love the ships from all the different shows and movies. The A.S Oddyssey = Naboo Starfighter (Star Wars). The A.S Trom = Raptor (Battlestar Galactica). A.S Crippler = Battlestar (BG). Pirate Fighter = Jedi Starfighter (SW). Pirate Cruiser = Republic Cruiser (SW) and so on

Under rating threshold (show) This game is too complicated, no matter what I do I always lose. Please allow to be able to redo a mission for exp and credits, as in this game there is only one way to win: Do everything the developers way, no way out of that. This game would be a 5/5 if grinding was allowed, but currently a 1/5 because I cannot beat the 2 mission :(

Under rating threshold (show) The gameplay is really good and I like the upgrade variety. The thing I hate the most is definitely the unbalanced gameplay. I've just gotten the first Warp Key and I literally have no idea how to advance forward: the easiest levels are capped at level 8 when my ships are level 9 and 10, so I get reduced exp, but the enemies are still hard as nails. My new ships are pathetically weak, and there's no easy way to grind them up to higher levels. For all the upgrade variety, the upgrades themselves are too weak -- a "fully" upgraded ship at level 10 still fights toe to toe with a ship at level 1, with the only difference being the level 10 dies more slowly - which isn't much comfort since you're almost always outnumbered. I have to say, this game feels like either a beta that's going to be patched twice before being abandoned, or just "unpolished" as usual.

Under rating threshold (show) all the ships are ripped from some other world of fiction (sadly) I have seen all the battlestar galactica ships, all star wars (in the early levels you can see the ship the Jedi used in episode one and the suiciders are the A wings from episode one), the list goes on. I also agree with the difficulty issue.

Under rating threshold (show) Infuriating. This could be a good game, but right now the difficulty spikes way too quickly. I can't get past the first system. As far as I can tell, I didn't purchase equipment wisely or spend my points wisely, but I have no way of knowing that so early in the game. I feel that I have no choice but to start over. I have a level 7 ship and a level 8 ship, but they don't feel any different than any other level and they can still be taken out by a level 1 enemy, which doesn't seem right. Without any way to grind or reset points, I'm stuck. This could be a good game, but right now I feel like the game is just trying to read the mind of the developer.

Under rating threshold (show) its too open-ended. we have no idea which perks to take, modules, and no idea what abilities to upgrade, no way to reset if we make a mistake. We are just thrown in this random universe with random abilities. I'm reading how the difficulty rises quickly which isn't a good idea to mix with a game like this. Excellent game, poorly designed. I'm going to have to give it a one so the creator can hopefully re-do this game with some kind of direction to take with perks and abilities, and add a skill reset.

Under rating threshold (show) Fun game, but as always with skill/perk games: a reset button would be highly appreciated. Even if it costs money (in-game credits, not real money, obviously). If you're going to force players to pick a path to take after their first fight, you're simply luring them into a "crap, I made all the wrong choices and now I have a jack-of-all-trades I don't need."trap.

Under rating threshold (show) Pretty sure you are using copy-write material. Most of those ships are from Star Wars. And why is the Naboo fighter, I mean "Wasp" flying backwards. If you are going to put a lot of effort into making a game, use your own graphics. These look like desktop icons.

Under rating threshold (show) Way too easy to completely screw yourself over in this game. And you don't know you've screwed yourself over until it is too late and you have to start a brand new game. There is no way to salvage anything. Don't get me wrong, I love the game, but the difficulty curve is too steep and invisible.

Under rating threshold (show) ok so the space theme really does not do it for me, but I believe that you have the base code for something truly great if the theme were to be changed. Make it like a more medieval theme or something and I could really dig this. 5/5 because I see alot of potential lurking here, just under the GUI / skin of the game. Just my opinion though, you have the base of a solid turn based tactical game here.

Under rating threshold (show) It would be nice if there was a repeatable mission in every system, so we could fool around and not screw ourselves over by experimenting with shipbuilds or gear. Also, the level cap per system, while being a reasonable gamemechanic, seems rather illogical in-world: either 1. i'm technologically not advanced enough to upgrade beyond a certain limit or 2. the battles are not as much of a challenge. If 1, then visiting an advanced system should remove the level cap in all prior systems. If 2, it doesn't make sense that killing a level x ship in one zone is regarded less of a challenge then the same level x ship in another zone. It slightly irks me, but it's a minor issue really. Great game all in all.

Under rating threshold (show) finally, undefined managed to integrate separate music and sound mute buttons. hallelujah. ok, maps with only 9x9 are very small, not much area to maneuver. and i don't see any information about the enemies weapon range. the aspects reduces tactical options somehow making it a bit of a guessing game. still, very interesting... 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) Interesting concept. I have to say, I was a bit confused at first, but then the Tutorial let me know what all those icons meant and I got the hang of it. One thing, though, can we please see the stats of our own ships on mouse-over when we're selecting ships for Missions, like we can see the stats of the enemy ships? I can't tell what ships would be best to send out sometimes. P.S. Perks are always awesome. Thanks for having those in the game.

Under rating threshold (show) do you ever wonder if , due to the galaxy being so huge, this stuff exists, and we're manipulating the lives of creature (admittedly in pixelated form, but maybe that's to protect their identity) and machines. i hope they don't make a game which finds your address and pits you up against unknown amounts of creatures set the day after you play it. if so, we're screwed
