forge nothing but items that add +mana. have every unit leeching mana. eventually you will be earning 1000 or so mana every few seconds from all of the draining. at that point you keep hammering the 2x gold spell. press it over and over because it stacks with itself. once: 2x gold. twice: 4x gold. three times: 8x gold. then 16, 32, 64, 128 ... etc. if you manage to cast the spell 20 times then every unit that was originally worth 1 gold will now be worth 1,048,576 gold. that's how you get the high scores.
cheers.

Dang nabbit! Them penguins are too strong for my pointy sticks and butter knives! Great game, the beginning is really hard, a lot more tactical than other protector games. 6/5! and keep up the good work, I truly enjoy spending time playing these games, which should never be used to "waste time."

someone said the game gets easier instead of harder and that's true. too bad, but when you have a lot of cool upgrades that's usually the way things go. All i n all this is a good TD. I think it shows that the genre is shifting to a more player involved format like cursed gems. you have to use your spells and use them wisely to progress. I can't wait till another full protector series game comes out with this type of play. the last one was far too easy.

Just beat it. I really enjoyed this game even though it was repetitive at times. Most games start out easy and get harder, but this game seemed to be the opposite. It starts out hard, but once I got "critter critter", I easily beat the rest of the game.
For those that are complaining about the harvesting, I can only assume you haven't gotten very far in the game. Here's a tip: Don't harvest things near your main units. Set a warrior in the middle of some resources near the end of the map or off in the boonies and give him a harvesting weapon. "The harvester" will usually collect the resources in about three hits. Then, give him a cheap weapon to "recycle" your lost resources. Rinse, repeat. Good luck!

TIP: At beginning levels, when they get too difficult, put points in the Max Mana skill. It will allow more berserks and such. If you need, get the Damage Skill to lvl 2 for 1 extra damage(allowed me to kill some enemies instantly on first wave). Then you can finally unlock mainland levels! Bump up for noobies like myself!

First I thought: Nice litte Tower Defence. 3/5 Then got stuck at that splash damage level. (voted 1) The music made me stay and its fully thought through. You can allways beat another level with some thinking. No need for grinding. Loved it!

well done, except when i beat it i want to see something, like i saved the princess, or that she is in another castle, or that i'll never get those hours of my life back... something.

Having trouble with any maps? The way to win it is: Wizard's Pal for all your mages, full points in Mana and damage and keep alternating the spell that permanently increases your damage by 5% and the spell that increases your attack speed by 50%

Lol so something interesting I found, if you get 'slow' over 100% the enemies will actually start moving backwards. Cool.

Nice little game... has some balance issues and needs some tweeks, i guess. Especially harvesting. It's a need idea and works fine enough, but e.g. no auto-harvesting or multiple resource selescions would already make a great improvement

Once you have the Wizard's bow you can't really lose. It's low cost and powerful weapon which captures mana and souls. Towards end of levels i end up having 200 lives. And you can use spells a lot more regularly because you get man back so quick, I was recharging to full capacity before the slow spell stopped. Wizard bows are the way to beat any level

@izzies its not a bug, wel not really i dont think it is, when you take something off it has a: item name, what it does then down the bottom it has owned by: noone or it has a little protectors name in it, i think thats why it doesnt work.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@we4ge4fr you have to actually craft the weapons an armor in-game, the blueprints part is just to see what it will look like.

this game would have been something else. i like the ideas. but it felt like its an alpha version. bugs, balance problems, lack of some utilities... still a great potential tho

OK i seriously hate that this game seems unbalanced or something, i have to play 20 times every level cuz in the last wave, after playing 30 mins, an uber powerfull unexpected wave comes and rape mi defence... ....
Btw a little BUG , every time i equip an item into a unit, and then i un-equip that item to give it to another unit, i cant equip it to the second unit, (Drag and drop does nothing)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
when i try to equip weapons it show on the little guy but when i get to the game its not on and i checked after i equiped and went back it still wasnt there

Uhm, why put a warning-free quit button right next to the speed adjustment button that is very frequently used??? With levels taking so long to play, it is very annoying to accidentally quit a level after playing 3/4 of it. Please please add a message before quitting! Otherwise, a great game! Due to quit button, a 4/5 :( Please vote up!

On all of the crystal gardens maps the square directly to the right of the spawn point (you have to harvest a tree to put a little protector there) will randomly destroy your little protector and will not allow you to recreate another.

Despite all the negative comments, I think this game is fantastic. Its everything I love about all the protectors wrapped into one. Definitely BADGEWORTHY and 5/5.

something that upped my game a bunch - put your ability points in recruiting until you finish the elemental plains levels... then you can focus on damage abilities instead, because you're not going to need a whole lot of units. Decide what kind of super unit you're going to use... and make a couple of them. Spend as few resources as you can, because your goal is to upgrade them to the badass high level weapons

i AGREE 2 no need of replaying maps, no need this game u need skills not simply repeat the easier level till you get all xp 2 get everything max, for me its 5/5 ^^

I was wondering is anyone else is having as much trouble on Suddenly Dead, Smunchtastic, and Splishity Splashity... on the Splash level... I cannot get past the level with the 90 zombies... and the sudden death one, I can't get past the level with the 6 dragon guys... and I haven't really tried the Smunch one too many times, but it still has kicked my ass... I was wondering if anyone had any actual suggestions on strategies I could try...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
everyone complaining this is too hard is stupid... the whole point of its apparrent "difficulty" is to make you actully think and use diffrent units and strategies. and for the newbs saying this... OH I CANT BEAT LVL 2. -.- go read something called INSTRUCTIONS? or are you too much of a retard to do so?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Too hard. Imbalanced. Worst TD game I've played, which is a shame. The other protector games are much, much better than this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's no need to get XP from replaying, and I'm glad you don't. The previous games had a bit too much grinding for my taste, and encouraged you to play a level you knew you could beat over and over to get an advantage. With this version, you can't just beat levels by investing hours earning points, you have to actually tailor your skills, attempt new strategies, and try different levels to see which ones you CAN beat.

nice game but, would it be a little bit more helpful if you could make an little update where you could get exp from maps you played? i rage quited on lvl 2..................., so thumbs up so
the creator can see this
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the game easy lol all u hv 2 do is spend ur skill points on recruiter lvl 10, then damage dealing lvl 10, then master craftsman lvl 10 and mana battery lvl 6.
do it in that order u will complete it in no time. the game is realy easy guy :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
good game but reminds me of protector reclaiming the throne, its a little 2 difficult, nothing more annoying than doin 40 waves and losing right at the end :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
awesome game, its not hard at all. If u cant win a game just change your skills, try to use more archers or some mage with slow+splash or smunch.
It needs gadgets and more lvls... its easy and boring when u get some items u r unbeatable
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hmm, not so sure whether slow/smunch are 'splashed' and how well... anyone know? I see some effect's colors being splashed, but the 100% slow doesn't seem to apply... is it affected by the splash percentage or only affecting the primary target? Hmmm.... oh well.
