Under rating threshold (show) Good game, unfortunate that it becomes easier to spam one unit over and over (archers) as opposed to upgrading a few units to their maximum capability. I like the difficulty, just not the manner which it is overcome.

Under rating threshold (show) i give this game a meh, not verry addictive nor enjoyable, it was good, and i love tower defense, i just didnt enjoy this one as much as i have enjoyed other tower defense games, i found it lacked a skill tree system, the skill points could be spent on anything, and it took the excitment away from building up to that one awsom skill that just makes everything great, *caugh*nuke*caugh*

Under rating threshold (show) Archers crammed at the start wth flame bows, 2 on each spawn of wizards bows, 4 if only one, and a guy or two in the middle with Temporal Bows, best armor possible and splash. You may not get a HUGE score, but nothing will be a bother. If they go too fast, as on the start of some maps, use time warp twice in a row till you can get one guy using a flame bow. Mages I use to harvest, and only 2 of em usually. Wars pretty much come out if I am in need of a harvester and my mages aren't available.

Under rating threshold (show) Being able to freely swap skills is nice, but it also makes it very difficult to have a balanced game when they make such a significant impact on gameplay, and can be reallocated for any player to figure out the best strategy to win. It's not such a bad thing, but it can make the game much easier and less time consuming, though some people don't like a challenge I suppose :)

Under rating threshold (show) The game seriously lacks 1) a finale/ending boss; 2) a decent difficulty curve, as once you get the first ten or so blueprints and ten skill points it gets way too easy (while I appreciated the initial difficulty); 3) some more fine tuning/bugfixing; 4) more variety; 5) easter eggs would be a nice extra...

Under rating threshold (show) "Critter Criter" Archer Upgrade (45 gold, 90 frags) made this game way to easy for me. I got it pretty early on and never lost a map. 50% crit is way too much. You've to lower it. I used only 2 warriors for slow + smunch, and mages only for harvesting. My 6 archer cleared every map in the game.

Under rating threshold (show) Big fan of protector, thought this was gonna be awesome. Maybe I'm not playing the stages in the right order. But just too hard, and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've beat other protector games and this one is advertised as being simple and I can't get out of the easy stages, a bit odd.

Under rating threshold (show) I have a current high score of 260 billion. First you need to have beaten most places so you have plenty of points to upgrade your character. Bunnyman burrows is the map to play. You need to use the robbery spell on the last few levels (I had less than 100k points with levels to go). Before the last five levels I was casting the spell to get double souls, plus the splash and slow spells (it takes a while before you can simutaneously cast all three without running out of mana right away). I use the magic character and I upgrade its wizards pal and ancient suit. That gives you a bunch of damage and +70% mana combined. So later on when I have like 8 of those guys upgrade like that at the end of the game I am getting mana really quickly, like the 2,000 mana takes like less than 5-10 seconds to fill. Anyways, it takes some time but you can get up in the billions as well following that strategy.

Under rating threshold (show) Great way to get gold, put 10 skill points into the mana skill, then use the gold spell that doubles the gold the monsters have that round, and it stacks, so since it costs 600, it can be played a max of 3 times in one round, so say you casted it 3 times on a boss that had 150 gold, you would get 1200 gold in one round :D extra tip, use weapons with the mana power so you can gain it back faster, i've found the wizard's bow (an archer weapon just to make that clear lol) to be very useful with 20% mana gain. Happy hunting ^^

Under rating threshold (show) Couple of minor complaints - sometimes, the "speech bubble" for a loot item won't disappear, or gets confused when I've clearly assigned an item to a different unit. Also, I know this hasn't been an option in previous Protector games, but a "sell" option for harvesters would be awesome. Once a warrior harvester has harvested the few tiles in his immediate vicinity, he's useless. Other than that, though, this is a fantastic game, and I hope to see some badges up for it soon.

Under rating threshold (show) Great game! When you pause the game and set to harvest resources your units will atempt to attack. When you change the recource still on pause they will shoot at completly different target even one that's not in their range. Skill points to reduced recruting, mana pool and wizz of legnds. Hit doubled money spell 3 times on start. Main tactic is to put mana gaining wizzards on the beginning and some life leechers too. Then cast soul steal and champions spell all the time.

Under rating threshold (show) This game is not rated as highly as the other protector games. My guess is that this is because it's hard to get into. The early levels are extremely difficult, while the later levels, when you have many more weapon/armor options, are easier. The game doesn't really become fun until you've gotten to the mainland, which can take a few hours of play.

Under rating threshold (show) For "spishity splashity," ignore the advice of focusing on splash damage. The fire wizards just do too little damage. Instead, put your skill points into reduced unit cost, and get as many archers and warriors as possible, positioned so they cover as much of the path as possible. If you're lucky enough to get a splash item, give it to a warrior with that smunching mace. Focus on harvesting when possible, and then stick mages (with smunch mainly) in the centers of the squares. Actually, the tons of archers/warriors strategy works for most levels. I rarely bother with wizards anymore.

Under rating threshold (show) I really enjoy having to replay maps. There is a sense of accomplishment when you figure out the secret to success on any given map. I am a huge TD fan but many are too hard because of financial/scaling/design reasons and not because the game is a challenge.

I disagree with people who wants to make easier this game, sure you must replay few maps to achieve them but that is totaly possible to finish the game with the skill reseter ! For me it's really a good thing having difficulty to win the maps from start of the game to the end ! Sorry for my English I know I'm hard to understand xD

Under rating threshold (show) "simplifying Protector gameplay" ? I am sorry, but you have not achieved your goal. This is far more complicated than any of the previous protector games, not only in terms of build logic (deploying fighting units to harvest materials, losing the game when you don't have enough of one resource to build your resource gathering units, etc)) but also just in plain interface - the fact that I need to click on 4 separate locations just to upgrade my base level units is just painful. It could become a good game, but you need a lot of balancing and redesigning.

Under rating threshold (show) WILL you please fix this annoying bug when for some unknown reason the tooltip for an item remains in lei of a mouse pointer and you cant get rid of it, it just hovers around getting in the way blocking my ability to percieve items for the rest of the game, what the heck this bug is so common if you played the game for an hour then you would of known about it, fix it
