As our hero, Legen Dary, Walks across the creeking floors of the ruined tower, he spots a chest in a corner. He walks to it and exclaims out: "Yes a chest!" As he was just about to open the chest, he suddenly turns around and leaves! "Its just too stressful to open a chest with good loot..."
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you know legen, the enemy is right in front of you, has less hp than you, do less damage than you and has less mp than you... if you could only HIT the damn thing to KILL it would be FANTASTIC!!

is there any posibility that you can get less or slower stressed when going on adventures? its kinda annoying that im getting stressed so fast and have to repeat areas at adventure like 2-3- times >.>
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why does the stress lvl go up to 100 if at 70 you can't take any actions? And is the massive miss chance there to make combat take longer? ...It's clearly acknowledged that combat is boring enough to add an auto attack or auto spell cast..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yes, Legen. I understand that even the act of walking in a dungeon is very stressful. But the chest was literally one step from you! Would it really have been that hard to get it?

For everyone worried about the building materials shortage, if you get work well all week as Builder, you get bonus spare materials, not just bonus money.
Plus, it increases your construction skills, thus decreasing the cost of buildings.
You know the drill, if you think this is useful, then keep the comment alive by pressing "+". ;)

"That young mage who helps rebuilding the whole town is celebrating his birthday today, what should I get for him? Oh I know, a broadsword will be perfect for him!"

For those complaining about rest: Create a character then select the 300 building supplies and anything that give +constitution. Immediately upgrade the village garden 3 times. This will now allow you to recover 70-80 stress in 2 resting sessions. Any building materials you have left you put in to barracks. For the first 2 years you will be earning money through sweeping, then labouring. Occasionally going to the combat training. When you turn 15 start doing the dungeons, making sure you get all building materials and blue chests. Keep upgrading your village as you go along. Sell everything you don't need. Repeat until you have got your 20 chests. Congratulations on the hard badge.

Some tips for newbies.
To unlock the easiest dungeons for the hard badge:
Get level 1: Mage Tower, Farmlands
Get level 2: Graveyard, Music Academy, Hunter's Lodge
If you refresh the game while in a dungeon crawl, it returns you to town without losing the week. HOWEVER, doing this on the same day you found a blue treasure will cause it not to be counted for badge purposes!
You can see the dungeon difficulty by looking at the dungeon text. Green = easy, Red = hard.
At age 14 you unlock the Scorching Desert, which can unlock the Mountain Castle. Resting here will net you lots of essential warrior stats.

I nearly rebuilt the town to level 5 across the board, maxed out several stats along the way, cleared nearly all of the dungeons and fought Bunny Satan...and the king gives me the title of "Unremarkable Citizen". Given that the king probably ain't all that, compared to Satan, I think it's time for me to trade in "Unremarkable Citizen" for "King".

I think the auto-attack buttons should have been on the left side of the screen, closer to the actual attack buttons.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
needs the ability to FULLY mute music, and while the autoattack button makes the game playable (as opposed to maddening), autofight would be way better - waiting through the animations and misses means that I switch over to another tab, and read a couple of paragraphs at another site before coming back - not a great selling point for your game.

I'm in the dungeon that's in the shape of a spiral, and I had 50-something Stress when I reached the Blue Chest. I walk aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall the way back to the entrance. When I reach the square right next to the entrance square (one more step to exit) stress reaches 70 and it says the usual "stress too high, time to go" message... wow XD. You know, I'm curious as to why stress can go up to 100. When it reaches 70 you exit a dungeon; when it gets too much more than that you can't do Work or School. I'm doing dungeons thinking "Oh comeon! At least make it so that the Stress meter being able to read to 100 can actually mean something."

This game is pure hit-and-miss(joke intended).
You are never told what a job or a school increases until you did it not once, but 5 times. You are NEVER told what increases your chance to hit.(some people guess dex and tactics for physical). Even worse is the unlocking of dungeons and finding of blue chests inside them. Might as well be random.

I understand that battling will have more stress than simply walking, but WHY ON EARTH would you be more stressful when you pick up some treasures and GPs than walking?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's an interesting game, but the leveling and combat system is really poorly made in comparison to other similar games. Damage is really controlled by the combat weapon (which depends partially on luck during adventuring). I have 3k gold right now and I can't do any training which will increase damage or decrease the stress in adventuring.. which means I need to spend 5 weeks on something that I'm easily able to defeat simply from stress. Lame.

Maybe you should be able to BUY building materials... I mean I don't go dungeon diving for 2x4's i just go to a lumber yard.

OK I have searched High and low throughout the internet for the answer and cannot find it.
How do you unlock ALL the Dungeons namely the 4 on the right island? I have the Sturdy Passage on that island to the right but the other 4 will not unlock - 1)Underground Cavern, 2) RAIDERS LAIR, 3) Secret Barracks, and 4) Wahl's Lair. I can get everything else but those.
I believe it has something to with the Broken Shipyard being fully clear(which I have done several times) and possibly Bravery being at 1000 (also I have done that several times). It might have something to do with a part of your village being at a certain level (I have had them all maxed out). The only thing I can think of is that it you have to clear the Broken Shipyard before a certain week or age? (I have cleared before age 17).
If anyone knows for sure how to unlock those 4 places please put me out of my misery and either post or send me a reply.
Thx,
Corloc

Why do you get +3 stress from getting treasure or buildong supplies in a dungeon. If i found a bunch of treasure, I'd say, "sweet a bunch of valuable items." Overall I'd probably be less stressed.

In the later dungeons, the combat is just so boring. I literally had 20 turns of me and the enemy missing each other.

Did anyone else notice items with names from other games like sonny's shirt, fancypant's pants, boxhead basher, and hedgehog launch pantaloons.

The info on what the character traits mean is totally useless. This is used in adventures... how about, this ones makes you hit more often, this one increases your odds of loot, stuff like that?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To the many complaining about hit percentages: You aren't supposed to go into the dungeons until you have built up some. Use the starting options that give you building supplies and build a good barracks, then train a few times and you will hit more than miss. Your hit rate is based on combat skill and tactics versus enemy's defense skill, so as they get tougher you need higher stats, which you train for with the money and materials you get from working and early dungeons.

Age 12: I started as a babysitter. It's easy money. Age 13: I became a scribe for a year. My penmanship is unmatched. Age 14: I decided to study medicine and become a nurse. Age 15: My love of books calls to me, and I've become a Librarian. Age 16: All the time to myself has given me the opportunity to write my own music and perform as a musician. Age 17: I've decided to take my knowledge into politics. Age 18: F*CK IT, I'm a ninja now!

THANK YOU, for removing sin on killing monsters, that made NO SENSE! I mean think about it, if my family was in danger from an orc and I killed it, would I become more evil? No, not unless im a strange person. Great job on this sequal! In number 3 please let materials be buyable! Maybe bring back the shop to, that was rather nice and helped eat up the large sum of money. On second thought, I am an unremarkable citizen so don't listen to me...

can't figure out how to unlock the top two dungeons on the right continent. Satan was a fun, hard fight though. Game is kind of tedious and I'm not a fan of the limited age dynamic, but it was a decent challenge beating all the dungeons (besides the two I couldn't figure out how to unlock)

For a legendary equipment; work as an apprentice or librarian to maximixe your enchanting skill. After that studying smith's or working as a smith will increase your smithing skill, working as a tailor or studying stitching also increases your tailoring skill. Smithing and tailoring sometimes asks you to make a equipment. with both mastering enchanting and smithing/tailoring skills, you can make a legendary equipmenyt; such as "Supreme Godlike Dagger". (Dmg: 60 / Hit Chn Inc: %49 / Luck Bns: 80 / Crit Chn: %5)

A timed game with limited attempts at.... bad imbalances to avoid and good imbalances to abuse/exploit. You don't know which is which, so you get to guess! Even making this game yourself doesn't tell you without wasting absurd amounts of time "testing" it over and over and over. Brilliant.

Just finished it for second time, I got tier 1 result, Warrior of the Legends, score 450k.
The idea of the game is great, but you can't make a good run on your first play, as you don't know anything about stats, and by the time you learn about them, you will have wasted too many weeks. There should be a tutorial or something.
Oh btw, for begginers, I recommend choosing from the beggining whether you wanna be a fighter or wizard. And don't work unless you do so for stats, you will have enough money to buy anything by half of the game.
I chose to be a fighter, first of all I did the basic dungeons and found the castle to rest (str+dex+cons), then made my guy work as a sweeper until he had enough dex, then did some dungeons and upgraded barracks. Then I maxed his combat stats.
By that time, I was ready to take the world, and I had 80% of my time left to do only dungeons.

OK! I am fed up. By week 3 I had the forest and beach rest areas (You can only get a max of 20 attributes from each one, so keep count). By week 45, I fully cleared 6 dungeons, including the Broken Shipyard. I have NEVER, repeat, NEVER gotten the 4 dungeons on the right island, excluding the Sturdy Passage, which I had already gotten the blue chest from. I have done over 10 playthroughs. I have no clue how to get them to show up. You cannot clear these dungeons faster than that. SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME EXACTLY WHAY YOU NEED TO DO!!!
