I haven't even played the game yet, but I had to comment to say that the use of Hiro Protagonist for the default character name made my day.

concerning the work/rest system i think it's good to have it but it's highly unrealistic. would be a lot better if it was automatic (just for the work) so you didn't get any stress but did still lose something. (maybe every 2 works u lose a total of a week for resting (depending on your choice and ur relaxation skill?)

Phenomenal, just a couple suggestions: 1) ability to use WASD in dungeons (I use a laptop and this would be way better for me), 2) make training like resting, ie no "Okay" button to hit when its done, just would make it flow better I think... anyways 5/5 thanks again!

I really love the Pet Protector games, but this feels like something of a step back in terms of narrative and design. It doesn't immediately grab me like the others did.

The stress system is possibly more annoying than in previous versions. You end up spending MORE time resting than doing anything else, which, for a game with limited turns, is frustrating.

I think I'm doing something wrong. After the time ran out I still didn't manage to beat the 3rd dungeon. Maybe I shoul've used some potions? Maybe magic skill was required? I don't know, but with just melee skill, armor usage, magic resist and first aid all on a high level I could just beat 2 enemies at a time if it weren't mages.

The notifications about being too stressed or too scared pop up for like a split second. I have no idea what is happening...

lol I would love to work for a month and rest in the next one xD The rest and stress system sucks, but still a good game 4/5

Oh, and platypusman, while I try not to bring grammar up online, either I'm misunderstanding your statement or you're looking for the exact opposite of reluctant. Saying 'you'd think they'd be reluctant to help' would mean that they wouldn't really want to help you, and I'm pretty sure you're attempting to say they *would* be apt to help you. Again, I may be misunderstanding, but I figured I'd throw that out there anyways.

I just started the game, and my character wont work because it's too stressful. Really? Get into one fight, rest for a week, and one day of work is too hard? -_-

Could someone explain what happens when the 6 years is up? Not as far as plot, but what is available to do? Is that character retired and unable to be played again, or can he/she be reused or continue on to something? Thanks if someone could fill me in.

Lol, I always like the change gender option in these games. Deep down inside we all always knew a set of boobs, a bigger nose bridge and a slightly less angular chin were the only thing that sets females apart from males, we just didn't realize we did until now. I'm sure cross dressers will be happy once they hear the news, it'll sure make their lives easier.

What is that, oh my sword attack is too strong, well then, let's randomly try some was a$$ magic effect, because surely 4 is greater than 20. Great thinking.

i found a bug, when im in the inventory menu, if i press the arrow keys, the sidebar changes to the dungeon crawling sidebar.

Oh, the magic attack does 30 damage, but the melee does 10! I'll just stick with the melee even though I have full mana.

If I am the only hope for the world why do I still have to pay to get training? You'd think they'd be reluctant to help.
I feel like it's an improvement from the previous 2. Changing the nature of stress was a big thing on my todo list, once you have decent resting locations from exploration and developed relaxation you can go from 100 to 0 in 2 weeks.
I also like to think the new in-dungeon stress system is WAY better, stress becomes a system to heal rather than being reduced every time you take an action. You can mitigate the stress costs by investing in potions instead but that costs money.
I'm happy to listen to ideas for improvement, but stress is an essential part of MPP it can't just be removed as several people suggest without removing a big part of the game dynamic.
