Wait wait wait, as a warrior I ended game with a score of 138179 as a brilliant tutor of combat and that was a tier 5 result.
However with a mage, with all the same stats and such except flipped to magic instead of combat, I got a score of 12779 became a royal seer, and that was a tier 4 result.
What's up with that?

My apprentice: It is clear to everyone that he will be COMPLETELY UNKNOWN, this is a tier 12 result, score 56980... is this a joke? I had 100 combat repute and fame of 69.4.

THAT MOMENT WHERE YOUR ATTACKS ARE ALWAYS MISS, BUT THE ENEMY HITS YOU EVERY TIME AND YOU ONLY GET TO DAMAGE HIM WHEN YOUR HEALTH IS UNDER 50% :D

I had to beat the boss skeleton 5 times to get the hard badge. Supposedly you can work around it but I kept hitting it even after the times I beat it. Ended up losing by one hit on the last week, took a chance and refreshed page before progress was saved and I was able to redo it.

In his youth the hero completes Construction and Night Guard to 100%, master Strategy and Combat classes, have Max Fame and Combat Repute, clear 6.5 dungeons.
Having done all that I'm only capable of being a "Brilliant Tutor of Combat." A Tier 5 result.
Has anyone else ever gotten anything higher than a T5 result? If so how?

Btw, 4/5: Very original and complex game, but I don't like that you can't know what a job will raise unless you do it.

I wasted a little too much time on trying to make my apprentice as moral, without sin, and compassionate as possible. No small feat after I massacred all those monsters...

If the last dungeon with the elite skeleton is too difficult, leave the enemies off the path to the unique treasure alive. The elite skeleton will choose a random enemy to replace. If you keep going for the unique treasure, you'll be able to kill all the enemies in the way (if one is the elite skeleton, retry dungeon and hope he's not in the way this time). You don't have to kill him at all.

my kid went from a ranger with a working-class background to a maxed combat attack + defense, near max magic defense dungeon clearing machine… and then spent his last three weeks trying to learn to tame dragons and failing. What the hell, dragon?

That elite skeleton warrior in Greer's Ambition is highly overpowered, 100 attack and defense with 180 hp and i still die since his hp is so large. Luckily it seems to be RNG and doesn't appear in the same spot all the time, so i managed to get the unique treasure without killing it.

That last 500hp skeleton is such BS. 100 skills in attack and defense. It still hits 90% of the time and constitution is so f-ing rare... Dumping 8k into theology and it only consistently only lands you at 180-200hp. Only using the 200 resting option as well. All it gives is charisma and wisdom, and maybe once str/con. I hate RNG/luck dependent hard badges.

Adding to what Azuriel855 said, follow the guide by halfdelita and use the guide by Pyscomatic in the best comments and I got the badge <1 hour with 67 weeks to go.

Following halfdelita's method, the hard badge took just under 1 hour to get, first attempt, with 35 weeks to spare :D

No big idea to complain about a game from 2009 that probably won't ever get updated again, but there are so many flaws and missing features in this game. Slow battle, no auto battle, missing hits is huge part game, extreme difficulty curve where you stand no chance, no explanations of what things actually affect the gameplay, shop completely useless except for selling. You also need luck to get the right stats, like constitution because otherwise you always die unless extreme luck on missing hits. Even overplaying a bit and with 100 in most skills useful I'm having trouble with Elite Skeletons. The stress system isn't a feature adding to the game either. OK with weeks/turns etc. and some kind of action point system but getting stressed out so quickly from just moving around in a dungeon... that's bad. The game has a somewhat fun and good concept in the bottom but the execution and lack of essential features brings it down to 2 stars for me.

One time I entered the hardest dungeon and got to about 68 stress when I hit what ended up being a row of 3 monsters followed by the blue chest. "Well, I guess I'll have to come back." DX Kills first enemy; Stress message box appears. Stress at 79. "Yeah, yeah... wait-" walks to next enemy- "Ha! I can keep walking if they are next to each other!" :D Kills that one; Stress message still there and Stress at 90. "Haha! I'm going to keep going." and luckily, I got close to dying twice from those 500 HP skeletons, but didn't croak. Kills one more; Stress at 100. "Wooo! And the blue chest is right after!" which you can get if it's right after an enemy. "HAHAHA, take that game mechanics!!! My Stress is 111.5 and I got the blue chest of the dungeon, for the Hard badge too!!" The best, hilarious part was my Stress being well over 100 when it normally forces you home above 70.

Re: halfdelita's guide - I misread it and started *hoarding* at 15. Finished with 2 weeks to spare. +1 if you want others to enjoy the thrill of living on the edge due to avoidable errors.

Max combat and combat defense, 100% construction worker, cleared every dungeon bar the last one and am completely unknown...

How do you get a Tier 1 result? I got a Tier 2 with 100 in everything except magic attack (0) magic repute (0.7) and sin (0). Score potential was 110k.
