For the people asking, I made a new dropbox file for the Ruffle Flash Player program and Protector. Sorry it took so long but I was away.
Ruffle seems to have been updated and runs the game a lot better now.

Unfortunately we can't play this game anymore because Flash is fully discontinued. This was one of my all-time favorite games and I hope there's something similar made for html5.

I used the scrool of forgeting that will return the skill points of myself and I lost all of my skill points that I got from my talents...... Genius.

i really like this game. i played it years ago and this protector part is still the best
But: what happend to the save slot? saving game doesn t work anymore. if i restart the game, no save slot available. every time. even if i play not in inkognito mode :(

If you're just after the badge focus on magic use for the energy hero and just boost her, pure energy will get you by on most levels. Extra lives is a must on some levels though.

It is kind of sad to see how games almost a decade ago has more novelty and originality than games these days, which are replication of one another with better or worse graphics and perhaps cracked-up maths too. Misses those days when games were about putting your personal ideas into being and sharing them with the world.

UKI36 - Different debuffs stack so you can inflict a creature with weakness, slow, bleed, and poison at the same time. You can tell what debuffs a target has by the color of their health bar.

Both buff are in use or just one, if is just one, the first that i use ?
And what happen with venom and make bled ?

Wow, real bunch of complainey pants around here - the protector series is awesome, especially considering how the dev translated a more rpg style game into a TD. Still a favorite of mine that I come back to once in awhile

Notes: the highlighted flags are the ones you can probably beat. There are 10 Tyrian quests for the badge (they're a dark blue color when they haven't been completed). They're in the middle bottom third of the map. Invest your points in wisdom first (8-9 pts is good).

been many a year since I played this. is there a way to sell units? I keep getting killed by enemies that absorb the element of things I don't seem to be able to remove from the field.

lol the first time i played this when it came out i was kind of young and naive and lost so many times i gave up... but now with improved logical thinking ive devised a way to make it so easy, all you do is hire one hero of each element and make sure both its units are magical units( you can use shop items to change units or elements to achieve this) so then you can invest all of your points into magic use and buy several copies of the item in the council shop that gives +6 magic use and +6 elemental and basically you're all set. and with such high elemental you can still easily kill enemies that are strong against your hero's element later xD

Swordplay at level 12 should give a 24% melee dmg increase, which means a melee unit with 15 base power, should deal at least 18 damage(rounded up 19 dmg), but in mission those melee units have 16 (base) power. Why?
