Kueninja: " i keep losing bcuz i dont have good enough heroes i still have four heroes"
I am using only 3 mage heroes that are energy, fire, and posion, so far I have managed to level them up enough that just fire or energy can clear most maps. In the skills menu you can increase leadership, but you shouldn't need too many heroes since really all you would need would be a melee, range, fire, energy, poison, and cold types to have everything you need.

Watchers are not that useless. When placed to the right position, where they get many kills, it is worth choosing the development path which gives a certain percentage of kills as damage. That can boost them, especially on longer maps.

The watcher unit is essentially useless compared to other archers. It's range it short, it's attack speed is slow, and it's higher damage is barely even there.

Ahh, I managed to deal damage over 1000! No secret, Heimdal has a swordplay skill of 39, and one of his huscarls upgraded to maximum damage just went berserk on an enemy the weakness of which was cold ;)

All in all a great game, and much better than #3, which I found agonizingly grindy. There are some flaws, however, and the biggest one at this point is loot. It's a mess. Some way of sorting loot by stat increases or hero element changes would be great, as well as sorting equipment and consumables. I'd also prefer it if you'd cut the randomness and make it so that every piece of loot with the same name does the same damn thing. Speaking of sorting, I'd also like it if the talents were better sorted. You've got the 8+ elemental "affinity" talents, a couple of 15+ elemental skill talents, some random storyline talents, and a skill scroll talent, in no particular order, and that's just the first row. It gives me a headache. As awesome and thorough as this game is in most respects it should be a given for the developers to do some trivial organization and clean-up and make the interface as user-friendly as possible.

From the game description of Protector III: "Protector III is the final game in the Protector series." ...Well then...

The targeting system needs work. We should be able to set targeting to first, last, strongest, weakest, etc to make best use of the special abilities of our units.

'loot chance' on an item, is that confined to the kills that specific hero does, or for all 3 that comes to the fight? perhaps all heroes overall help?

@fearlessDecoy there is a Scroll of Forgetting that resets your personal stats. Looks like you have to find it though

There had better be a way to unlock more songs.
All the great improvements to this game and you cut the playlist from 8 to 4???

I used to lose 6 levels in a row, thing is, never use melee units, and do storyline quests over and over until you have 1 main strong hero.

quickest way to fill your Protectomon:
1) Hire a hero who has a unit with Scavenger (increased chance to find loot)
2) Give that hero either Energy or Poison attack to make things easier
3) Do the Great Hydra quest
4) Only place the units with Scavenger on the map (can only place 4 units anyway)
5) Upgrade the units to have Scavenger fully upgraded first
6) Complete the quest in about 2-3 minutes tops
7) Repeat steps 3-6 and your Protectomon should be complete within 2-4 times of doing the quest
