I loved Protector 1, but this new version is just too difficult; I can't even get through the first couple of medium levels. I originally had this game at 5/5, but I've lowered it to 3/5. Frustration is just no fun.

New Throne: Energy Wizards. Consecrated Fire Dexers. Poison Wizards start at Level 16, have unupgraded experienced Wizards ready. Alternate: Fill bottom with Fire Wizards, then fill top with no Fire for Levels 23 and 25.

Captured Shipyard: Consecrated Physical and Energy Dexers; watch coming levels so no unConsecrated Ds for Absorbs. Pave between the inner circle and the exit route. Fire Wizards in center for Debuff/Slow and Level 18.

Acheron Wastes: No Flying, so no Wizards; just Cold and Poison Dexers. Start middle top with Cold, then add Poison between entrance and Cold Ds so the Poison Ds level up. When the money piles up, add more Dexers until every spot is used. Skills: Max out Cold and Poison Warriors without Armor/Absorption path, extra into cheaper units and less enemy hps. Only Level 13 has Armor; a few Tacticians should be enough.

Acheron Wastes was tough, did it at Level 13 I think. Only a couple of waves are a problem - I think I relied heavily on poison and debuff mages, and more dexers than usual.

Achirion Wastes, i have tried more than ten times and now I am at level 19.. hoping to make it at level 20 (wipes off sweat)

Stuck with Acheron wastes, trying to go by walkthrough, but it just doesnt work at all...maybe its written for easy mode?

Now You're a Man
Dude! You just completed the Now You're a Man achievement in Protector: Reclaiming the Throne and won the Now You're a Man badge and 30 points! it was so hard

Aloony. The last boss (Lodestone) on the Coastal Ruins has 34 armour so you might not do any damage. I tried hitting him with cold mages and he does absorb damage so I can confirm the strength and weakness isn't reversed.
Tactician's of any colour than blue or blue oncecrated tacticians should do the job for you.
P.S. I really enjoyed this game. My only disapointment was that the later waves on the last map were too easy compared to what came before, anti-climactic.
Is there any point in rogues and quickspells? (I worked out what the archers are for ;o)

Aloony - there's no bug, the boss on coastal ruins is highly armored. Only high level (fire) mages/destructors can harm him.

The last enemy on coastal ruins is bugged for me. my debuff and infect works and i only had fire mages but i wasn't dealing damage the enemy was only loosing hp... its like strength and weakness are reversed and immunities is void.. is that how its supposed to be???

I keep getting people with certain names like Conan, Cyril, and King Titus who do like twice as much damage as their supposed to and if you level them up they're like super tanks. Is that supposed to happen??
