RedGoldandGreen, the best way to beat the stage is to look at each wave before you even send the first wave. After tha you can decide which types of units to put down (and you may want to end the game and go back to the map to change your skill points around). For example, in the "Achirion Wastes" stage: If you looked at each stage, you'd see that none of them can fly, so you would use the warriors (because they do more damage). I only used cold warriors on that stage and it worked.

There are alot of very simple levels, and they would only require 1 or 2 people. For shaven road, if you have enough points to enhance the ranger, you can pretty much beat that level by being a poison warrior, berserk, generalism, ranger, damage, generalism, etc.
So RedGoldandGreen, even though you have found a strategy for a level, you have to put skill points into that class, if there is a specific class you use like the not so vast forest, you can upgrade warriors and you lives. If you put extra mages in places you don't need, you pretty much screw up you high advanced classes.

Redgoldandgreen, it is possible, your own strategys DO work if you are good at making them, ive completed every level on hardcore mode

1/5. Ruined this game. The normal level is so hard that I dont think its even possible to win, and I seriously cant imagine how someone could get very far. You have to follow a VERY specific strategy on each stage, which ruins the fun of being able to win using your own strategy, making this more of a puzzle game than a strategy game. In the Achirion Wastes stage, I've placed poison ice mages at the exact distances needed to keep enemies poisoned, upgraded them to full, and put all other mages/warriors EXACTLY where they need to be. By round 19 there's simply no possible way to even kill part of the wave. The same is true for all other stages. I cant imagine how someone can beat any more than the first 5 stages.

Anyone who can create a good game, deserves a pat on the back. The few that can recreate the first to and do it better, deserves a standing ovation.
Well done sir.

It is an improvement, particularly the speed up, but the difficulty scales too quickly and the maps still take too long to have fun experimenting with new strategies in my opinion. 3x and 5x speed options would have made this game 5/5 for me.

I dont agree with you PyroDragon, This game has a huge improvement over the first one, because of the new upgrade paths and the quick time options

not really all that vast of an improvement over the first one, which really wasn't that fun to begin with. bonus for the time and effort put into the planning phase of the game, though. 0* for the fun of the game, +3* for the time & effort put into it. more people should rate games in this way.

The not so vast forest isn't so bad with warriors that have that skill that makes the enemies' strength get damaged more.

I cannot figure this out: I have no problem with any level except for the forgotten bridge - medium difficulty! The skeletons give pennies in experience.
