Okay. This is a FAR better version than Defender. Good job taking user thoughts into consideration, if that's indeed what you did. Oh, and just so people know, you have to click "Submit Score" for it to register on Kong. I'm sure I won't get to keep the all-time score for long when people find out. :-P

Ah, now I see..... the big lag spike is right whenever a tower launches an attack *that will kill a unit*. Non-kills don't do anything, but kill shots lag. Very odd.

Pretty good TD, just a few things you should take into consideration when you do the next Defender/Protector.
1.) Red Mage splash damage needs a visual representation.
2.) Blue Mage needs improvement. It's hard to justify using them since the effect doesn't splash like in other TD's.
3.) It would be nice if the first levels for the advanced units did something.

Yes, it's yet another tower defense game, but it's a pretty slick presentation and the ability to pave areas for new troops is pretty sweet. It's big enough that I'll waste a good bit of time here (lol @ the clock), but nothing spectacular.

Anyone else getting huge lag with this game? Never had any problem with Defender, but now I get a huge system-wide pause (like, even my menus/mouse/keyboard stop responding) every time the towers go to fire. Even in Low qual, with sound off. It's bizarre.

So...how's this game different than Defender?
It's not exactly better, as far as I can tell. I think I upgraded my one red mage for free in the tutorial once...I may be mistaken, but I swear I started and ended the upgrade (10gp) with 28 gold.

Made by the same people as the other Ultima TD game - same logo in the corner lol.

lol skeletons bleed when they die...nice game but i wish u could sell units uve placed for the same price uve spent on them

im just thinking to myself, but how do u loose in this game? cuz the "baddies" just keep goin around in circles, they never vacate the arena...

very slow game - stops everytime one of defenders makes an attack - make smoother and i'll up my marks - good concept though

Other than just redrawing Ultima sprites and the fact a game has been used LITERALLY using Ultima sprites before this, I'd say its ok. But it is an exact copy of that other game....but this ones better so I'm not going to say much...well defending games are getting pretty old....and this is a rip off of a generic defense game that ripped off animations and sprites of another game. So this is like unoriginal cubed....*sigh*
