its alot of fun, but it could definitely be improved like some others have said. instead of having upgrades, i like the idea of the achievements giving passive abilities related to what they are. (move damage for swords, more health increase) i've noticed the highest the equip goes is lvl 7. not a big deal, i just like higher numbers! my last comment, its actually relatively easy (1 out of 4 to 5) chances of completing the quest. its as simple as running around in a somewhat organized fashion, looking for the shield/sword upgrades and healing potions. and then if you stumble upon the boss, its almost a guaranteed win. there is no incentive whatsoever of battling the regular enemies (unless you do more damage for lvling up? i never made it past lvl 2 to defeat the bosses)

All the reasons for my rating have been stated already . . . (By the way, I know this will get rated down,but just a fact) . . . 2/5. I will change it once it is improved a lot. Great idea, really, really bad execution.

I think this game would be great if there were several improvements. Definitely taking out the amount of turns you have, allowing upgrades, and making it a little bit bigger.

Kind of a small thing, but could you highlight the newly gained achievements after the game where you got them? I like looking at the new stuff, but at 57/85 new stuff tends to get lost in the clutter.

this game a great potential with a addicting factor.
the most annoying things are the movement/action limit and the fact that und dont have a minimap or any kind of indicator where ur quest target is.
also the treasures could u give u money that u can use for upgrades.
just imagine starting the game like it is atm and then u can upgrade ur weapon/shield, so that u would always start with higher level weapons, a higher char lvl or a minimap/questhelper.
that make a rly awesome addicting game-experience similar to the idea of frantic frigates.

Is there a chance that we could play an Endless mode of this? I love the game, it's fantastic, but it's short and I think I could sit here for hours and play one game and be completely amazed by it every minute throughout. And frankly, I would love that. >.<

"Find the X in 1 turn" is not fun gameplay, as nothing we do can help us locate the X with anything else but a brute force search, and nothing increases the # of turns.

i accidently found the boss because of "keys sticking" fought him by accident, goten a lvl 2 sword with it, it showed me a red potion then i took it,oh and the keys sticking are something like lag when i press few times it goes more than that
oh and it would be better if there are upgrades while playing or after finishing game

Wow, this game is brutal. I won on my 4th try, with a level 7 shield and level 5 sword, and 7 potions. 28,000 score...Seems low >_>. I feel like a newb, but that was fun!

need a menu to change control ; like to cahnge arrow key for awsd or by moving with mouse.

Would be amazing with between-games upgrades, where you can spend all that cash you get. Something faster to add: Points make you start with bonus EXP or better weapons, like in Frantic Frigates.

Too bad I can earn all those globes and maps on the achievement screen but can't use them in game - killing quests sometimes are impossible since you just can't find the darn monster within the turn limit. And the "find the portrait" quest type seems to be the worst, since you actually need to avoid picking up stuff and fighting monsters to put those turns into just searching the map sector-by-sector.

Like Rukus said, its missing some upgrades and some kind of radar, most of the time i just stacking up weapons hoping ill find my quest item/monster/ptincess. 4.8/5

I've tried it about ten times, never succeded in doing a single quest. The turn limit is simply absurd, it takes any fun out of this game. Or maybe I'm just that unlucky, that I can never find what I need? No idea if doing the quest adds more time. Either extending the turn limit a bit or making it easier to find whats needed could help. I really like how achievements work though.

It's really juttery, and it seems pointless to replay. If there was some kind of levelling up system it might have some replay value.

This game would be great if the achievements allowed you to purchase upgrade. More health, more turns, higher amount of good equipment. Maybe higher level equipment, or even a basic radar. Still like the game though, just saying this could make it worth repeating.

This one was produced in only a few days as an experiment to see if I could make something simpler than my usual, I think it has a lot of room for improvement, chances are the idea will be vastly expanded on in another game. :)

Game is awesome and fast. I usually missclick something and I need to fight with Legendary Monster. Game is just too easy, but still very enjoyable. I wanna to see more games like this.

Simple and enjoying. 5/5 The hard part is to find and rescue the princess. This is one of the best time killers on Kongregate.

My favourite author of nice flash games probably was on drugs, W.T.F. is this crap? Absolutly horrible, painful to play, nonsense waste of time.... :/
