I beat everyone on arena and zulgurab exept the soultaker and I'm still on lvl 16 and better items need lvl 20 ... Its good, that by beating guy on arena I get same amount of xp like for defeating tiger? This game or sequel need a better balance ... and fixing some minor bugs.

Loks like the old game but in the begining at the top right side theres a logo says "made for kongregate by (what ever his name) 2011"......

Still entertaining but I'd have expected an actual sequel or an entire series after nearly 5 years considering how successful the original game is. My only complaint other than that is that the game stops working at times.

lots of glitches!!!! 1-Sometimes my money wont add up right(example)-1g 7s 69c-i win a battle get 80 copper and my money is 1g 7s 49c. 2-Sometimes it does not show money at all. 3-Sometimes pressing space-bar for dialogue only makes dialogue start over.

if i can defeat a lvl 30 enemy (the boss of zul'gurub no less) with a character half his level something is terribly terribly wrong. still a very fun game though.

unmediocre - I've seen this game before, seems like years ago, on another site. I was just wondering why this hasn't been updated or finished? You say you're the dev for it, so I'm sure you have a good reason for not finishing such a great game? Also, what's up with stranglethorn area? If you follow the quests in the village, the game ends. Seems like this area was just tacked on? I don't get it. Finally, JaceDraccus brings up a good question; why upload a previous version of the game here, rather than the one that's been played elsewhere?

This game promotes grinding over strategy. I'm level 12 and have completed the arena, but am completely incapable of reaping the rewards because the items require me to be of a higher level. I suggest that you lower the level prerequisite for items, or even remove it.

i cant get past the bit when your sailing and the crocolisks attack you because it doesnt give you time to regenerate but i always get to the 3rd one then i die!!!!!! D:<

how do you beat the kobold mage? he can 1 round cast pyroblast= death in 2-4 hits and when I tried with a shit stack of meat, he just heal him self any time I did damage. he had unlimited magic. up till then I was enjoying the game, even though it was grindy at times. 2/5

Interesting! Not only has the postman been removed from the game, but you can no longer endlessly fight the arena! Once you kill the paladin, you get to buy goods from Short John. You do NOT fight a mirrorverse version of yourself, like you do in previous versions of this game.

Protip: If you want to get players excited to play your RPG, give them more than 40 feet of linear dungeon to explore to start with, and don't immediately throw them into a loot quest.

Nice game... I'm going to try constructive criticism - an autogold feature so you don't have to click the gold after every fight, or remove gold as an item and just make it a number instead of an object.. actually autoloot would be better, just a toggle to pick up everything all the time or the way it is now... keyboard shortcuts for battle would be a really nice feature too, even just hitting tab to reach the buttons would be cool! Otherwise, awesome game! I can see why someone would leech it and try to take credit if it was an older work you just sat on! (makes me think about the collection I'm sitting on too though) Good luck and nice work!

wait wat!?!? my enemies level up WITH me? r u freakin stupid?!?!?wat good is leveling up if ur enemies do 2?!?!?!?! oh, im not strong enof to beat the VERY FIRST BOSS that the put me up against within 5 MINUTES OF PLAYING THE GAME, let me level up some...... a lot of teious and tiresome work and a few level ups later...... ok now that im a level 9 i can probably beat that level 6 boss, BOSS: level 9, i lose, Me: WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pay attention to the description and monster level. A level 3 young forest wolf does a lot more damage than a level 1 wolf cub.
