I agree that the hard level is kinda unfair, but that's the point it's hard, but with an apprpriate strategy you can make it without problems, as for the skip button for the enemies moves, personally i didn't need it as I was observing their moves.. All in all, I love the game 5/5

Having said that.. its still a very fun and well-made game. The problem with the hard AI is that its in some ways too easy (usually you can just hang back, absorb the initial assault whilst constructing just a few of the correct units, often to gain mastery over the sea, whilst the AI doesnt continue money production and builds too many of the same type of unit.

I've got to agree with comments about the hard level. Its particularly difficult to plan tactically when it tells you an enemy plane will do 25 damage, your equivalent enemy plane has 25 health, and yet will be destroyed by one attack.

Hard mode seems more absurdly unfair than actually difficult, they one hit my troops while the enemies same exact troops take 2+ attacks to kill, and 3 units can literally wipe out everything and leave me powerless. Games that rely less on tactical awareness and more on "you HAVE to play this exact specific way to beat the game on this difficulty" are kind of stupid. I play turn based tactical games on hard settings to force me to be tactical, not youtube a walkthrough because there's only one way to get it done (Sonny 2, also looking at you).

I don't get why many people will say that this game is boring. For me it's not boring. It is just simply a STRATEGIC game. Challenging game is my type of game and not that easy-childish game. Cheers to the developer of this game.

no sir, i dont like it... though i see myself eventually getting the badges, this game gives me rage and is annoying in having to wait for the enemy to move every single piece of equipment without a fast forward button... I dont criticize many games like I am now, but I just cant help it. Not to mention if you play the bonus map and have a previously saved game, and you quit the bonus without saving, your save still disappears from the campaign. 2/5

Even if this is inspired by Advanced Wars it could at least attempt to look different. Tower defence games rarely introduce something new, but they at least look new. There isn't much reason this series can't do the same, so I'll stick with a 5/5 for Advanced Wars and 3/5 for this. Neg away.

I would've liked the idea of a upgrade/placement feature where you can upgrade the power/hp of you tank and a placement system where you get 30 or so seconds to place your tank's on your half of the tank.

my 5/5 went to a 4/5 when you got rid of arena. If it is not relaunched, it MAY go down to 3/5, But it might not, otherwise rly good game series!

Had my headphones on and when the game came on, I got earraped. ;_;
Relating to that, I think the main menu music could use a little work - the looping seems very...repetitive.
Not much to complain or say about the game, very similiar to Advance Wars so it's enjoyable to say the least.

TIL that building for air superiority isn't always the best way to go. Build lots of ships if you wanna beat mission 8.

Just amazing. I managed to beat the first mission without losing ANY units, for the first time, and I get less than half the maximum possible score, less than half what I got last time after losing TWO Scorpions.

Spider Tanks are extremely effective for mission nine! They make it too easy. Another great game in the series, I'm gonna finish the next one right after I finish the last mission.

A note that I hope will reach the developer. The little shield-like icons that represent each mission, go bronze, silver or gold, depending on the score the player achieves in each of them. Regretfully, it does not seem to matter in which difficulty. I played all missions in hard from the start and achieved 5 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze shields. I experimented by playing a single scenario in a lower difficulty. The bronze shield did turn gold indeed. Therefore I suggest that in some way be displayed in which difficulty it was that the each ‘shield’ was acquired. It is one of those game series that I have enjoyed the most on Kong, mainly due to my long involvement with SSI turn-based strategy classics.
