Blitzkrieg Mode is fun and all, it's great to be able to move your entire base of operations around, but it is kind of lame that there are NO normal(i.e. with buildings) missions AT ALL.

The only level I had difficulty with (on hard) was the last level, until I realized that the enemy had 4 war machines (while I only had 2), one of which could be killed on the first turn by 2 corvettes and the other by raptors (on about the 8th turn, after beating most of their ocean forces into scrap and while sieging the two bottom right towers). After that, they kept on sending units vulnerable to and blockable by raptors, so the rest was easy.

You had difficulties with this!? I failed one or two missions a single time, and then succeeded. It's fairly easy. And I guess Mayjor is well aware that his rank is the product of nepotism and he submits to Hayne's obviously superior sk1lzzz

Are you kidding me !!!!!!! I beat 7 missions on hard through tons of trial and error. And i come to it today and it says i only beat three levels................. *beats pearl in an epic battle then sees I'm no longer connected to kongregate* What in blue blazes.... THEY ARE DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE?!!?! DANG IT, now I have to fight the battle again.....

1-3: In all of these your units clearly outmatch the opponent's, and he can't produce any more, so should have no problem here.
4: Keep flak tanks alive to take out his Raptors, after that you can use them as meatshields. Shouldn't be too bad since you have an extra $3000 on him.
5: Honestly a sneak attack with the Stealth Tanks works fine here; you can completely ignore the units up north! If you care about winning the battle "fair and square", block attacks with cloaked Stealth Tanks, then pound them with indirects when they run into them. Kill the northern Turret ASAP by moving your Rockets onto the hills on the north side of the map. Also note a cloaked Stealth Tank on the other side of a barricade will block an opponent from moving through it, and attacking a barricade does not uncloak you!

6: Use Leviathans as meatshields. Not much else to say here.
7: Kill the northern War Machine ASAP by using your eastern War Machine to build a Rockets to the north. Keep your other War Machines away from the water; a full health Corvette one-shots a War Machine, oopsies (45 * 1.2 * 1.4 = 75.6)
8: Really, I think your highest priority is to kill Hunter Supports and Raptors, then Battleships, then whatever. Once that's taken care of, Raptor spam dominates. Note that one War Machine can survive two Raptor hits (25 * 1.4 = 35)
9: Easier than 8. Kill the easternmost Turret with whatever you've got, gum up the northern passage with Stealth Tanks or fliers, and then you have enough room to move around and set up an assault.
10: The War Machine on the bridge needs to be killed with Corvettes on the first turn. Winning the naval battle is not terribly important as long as you take out the Battlecruisers, so save all your Subs for that. You can keep the rest of your army away from the water.

Good game. I'm a big fan of Advance Wars. Also much better graphics than Nemesis!
The big effect of the difficulty level that I can see is the damage enemies do.
Easy: All enemies do 70% of normal damage.
Normal: All enemies do 100% of normal damage.
Hard: All enemies do 140% of normal damage.
No effect on how much damage enemies take, as far as I can see.
Normally, I'd be pretty scared of 140%, since that's a pretty bad disadvantage.
Luckily, though, the enemy likes to spam Condors, which can't scratch Raptors.
140% of zero is... still zero.
Most battles are won by taking out enemy units that can hit Raptors, and then it's smooth sailing from there.

^^^ They carry c4 charges attached to their spine, no one will ever betray info that way

would really appreciate being able to restart during the computers turn, when I forget the bottom half of the map and end turn and have to watch obliteration of my units for 5 min LOL it really gets under my skin haha guess I better use the next unit key =P

it's too bad there is so much reading I have some really good books for that don't really like it in my web browser games. but like the game all the same just all the work was lost on me click, click, click FTW. just as good as the others and hope there are more to come 5/5

this game is awesome, and the other one is even better, i really like battalion arena though, and i cant wait till battalion skirmish comes out, are they even making it :\

Badge of the day took me to the third of this series and I've been playing through them all, LOVE IT! The only thing that I would like to change is the arrow keys to WASD as I am right handed, but that is all :)

I despise people who are full of themselves more than any others, but for some reason Hayne is my favorite character in the entire series.
