For those who don't know yet, the more HP that a unit loses, the less damage it can deal; so, More HP = More Attack Power. This goes for you AND the enemy. There are lots of times when it's better to have most or all of the enemy units still alive but weaker and surrounding you than to kill some one by one and have the rest of the enemies at full health. In later levels, especially in harder modes, it's the only way to win.

The AI takes so long to finish, particularly on level 9. Once it has moved all of its units it spends a few minuets just contemplating the meaning of life!

Kay, only did some quick testing on this one, but I think the numbers for difficulty are:
Easy: All enemies do 75% of normal damage.
Normal: All enemies do 100% of normal damage.
Hard: All enemies do 125% of normal damage.
No effect on how much damage enemies take, as far as I can see.

for the bonus map,just stand on the enemy warfactories and then kill the rest,they wont be able to build stuff its hilarious

The hard mode is very challenging, with stage 9 being hardest. For the last two stages going straight for enemy command center is easier. You can manipulate AI's advance route with road blocks and commandos on structure and thus avoid most enemy in stage 9. For stage 10 it is very important you block the right factory near enemy headquarter with submarine.

AI on normal is not building units effectively. I'm rolling him and he had $6k he never spent when he had multiple bases and ample time to build (he made 1 unit in a long fight). I'll try hard mode and see if that helps. That's a bad AI, esp when it takes forever to end it's turn. But the game has great potential if that is fixed.

@Aswissrole - the AI is comparing every possible unit it could buy at that point to see which is the best option. From each factory it owns. It has to test all the possible combinations - so, if it has two factories, one of each control, and one factory is on water, it has to try around 200 possible combinations (remember that commando + tank is different from tank + commando - which factory matters!) or so. That only gets worse at higher factory (or factory-on-water) counts and more money available... and probably at higher difficulties, as it likely thinks harder about the choices.

I fell in love with this game and Battalion Arena. There was a guy working on making a substitute and it was supposed to be out already but I think he stopped because his forum for the new game is down and I cannot locate anything about the new game.

I won the first bootcamp mission by destroying their base and somehow unlocked a secret mission where you control 4 spartans from halo but can't work out what you need to do to get it again.

Chapter 8 was my personal favorite, minus the AI taking 5 minutes every turn AFTER he moved all his guys. Didn't expect to like this game based off the comments, but it has a starcraft feel to it that I like. 5/5

I can't find the “Resume Save Point” anywhere on the title page, or any other page for that matter. Kinda frustrating at times, but overall the game is so great that I end up starting the level over.

Someone who planned 9th mission should be court marshalled. No resource, no support, attacking well protected coast guarded by overwhelming enemy forces. That's not a bravery, that's incompetency...

on round 9 dont make the mistake of trying to kill all of the foe's forces, it takes fewer turns to just take their castle thingy

Why, why did I insist on doing the last 2 levels on hard... the last level became never - ending fly swatting, each of us spawning 2-3 planes each round. The AI REALLY does not want to go down easy on that one.
