Read description: Battalion: Skirmish is a 1-level preview of Battalion’s improved graphics and game engine, which you will see featured in upcoming multiplayer and single-player Battalion titles this summer!
Also, Mobile Cons. Yard is a common idea, not specific to a game.

The graphics are great, except the characters. Especially General Pearl, who now looks like a demented barbie. Please use the old character graphics, they were much better.

i agree with zerg and master: i am a HUGE fan of war games: but the people lookd way too cartoonish. and yes, the huge scroll buttons were a bit annoying. other than tht, great game, lookin foward 2 itz release.

It's too unoriginal, you need to completely forget the advance wars or battalion wars units and think up brand new ones.

BUG: Select your main unit & try to build any unit, before blowing up any of the enemy bases surrounding it. A big green "X" will appear over it, and this will screw up your ability to select units. You have to click the "next unit" button to be able to click other units again, and you can't re-select that main unit unless you use the "next unit" button to switch to it. Destroying the bases & successfully building units doesn't make the "X" go away. The only way to be able to select that main unit normally again is to move it off that square. (The big green "X" never goes away btw, no matter what you do.)

I liked the people the way they looked in the last one... the way they look in this one looks like a little kid's cartoon gone wrong. And I agree with Zerg about the scroll

the scroll-screen buttons are a bit too large. i'm more a fan of a small border which gets activated when the mouse moves over it.

in the first dialogue, Pearl says 'contruction' instead of 'construction' :) excellent update to a great game otherwise!

for retards who didnt play games before this:
he already said in part 1 he made this game so there was a version of advance wars the way he liked it... so dun cry its a ripoff because he already said it >_<

Leaving aside all those comments about not reading the notes, I thought this was an excellent revision to your already fantastic series.
The graphical update is really nice, the interface is smooth, and the warmachine was fun to use.
Well done!

toycat: you must double clikk on the war machine. And to all you guys (and girls) who say this is a bad game couse its so short: IT IS A DEMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I mean... it's cool and all.
I did enjoy the Advanced War series, so I don't really mind the ripoff.
I've got to say, though, it doesn't look like they added ANYTHING original.

Hmm, I wonder what game this is a rip-off of.... and as Tecness said, was way too easy. AI was ridiculously stupid. Don't care that it was a demo.
Giving it a 1/5 for unoriginality, lack of challenge, and utter boredom.

better graphics and i like the gameplay, looking forward to the next game 5/5. for people who say nemesis was better, this is a DEMO!!!!!!!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why don't you guys shut up this is just a demo. You should appreciate the creator's time spent making this demo instead of working on the real game.

lol, people keep complaining about this game being short and therefore rate 1 or 2? It's only a sneak peek, not a full game. Besides, how long was You Have To Burn The Rope? Not bad for a sneak peek, 3/5, really looking forward to the full game

Hahaha the music is totally ripped off from Caesar III. Lame.
And just to add to that, it's a 5 minute game. WOOT. I <3 adverts.
1/5.

I think its pretty good. My only complaint is that scrolling the map is annoying, I should be able to move the map by putting the cursor to the edge of the screen.
