does anyone else find the idea of building an intrepid (sea capture unit) from a war machine ironic?its not like your going to be using properties if you have war machines...

I would REALLY appreciate an auto-save function or at least a working save function. I just lost a progress of 8 leves though I´m pretty sure I saved...

In response to Muffins, the second mission has Tucker warn Yurik that you cannot fire onto ground troops entrenched in the new terrain, "canyon." In response to Joverla, my strategy was making short stops along the way to Durand's main spider outpost. At every barricade, I would destroy any spider tanks coming at me with mortar tank, the annihilator tank, or the flak tank. The rocket tank is actually ineffective against the spider tanks. Then I would use my rocket tank to destroy the barricade as the spider tanks approached. If my tanks were badly damaged, they would be fixed. The spider outpost eventually runs out of funding and cannot send any more spider tanks for a while. Use this vital time of relative peace to advance. A better place to hold up, if you want to camp, is at the bottom-left corner of the map. This area offers more space so you don't have to deal with the sudden spider attacks from the mountain range. It feels like rocket trucks got changed somehow and never explained. In Ghosts you could hit anything in range, now for unexplained reasons you often can't attack things within the redzone... almost just because.

For pretty much any map:
1. spam rocket trucks
2. make a palisade around your trucks with scorpions and annihilators
3. pull damaged tanks back and send in reserves
4. wait until just a trickle of infantry is left
5. GG

i like the nemesis graphics better, i also liked how nemesis was structure structured. that is no war machines you had to capture and hold certain points. still i'm happy to have another installment.

On mission 4, Durand's mines only produce enough for a Spider Tank every other round. Place your artillery in the lower center of the map. Durand should get stuck in a rut of sending his spiders due east immediately after building. You should be able to kill them with the artillery as they come. Move up your Scorpions and Annihilator (The Flak Tank will probably perish beforehand) and wait until Durand's initial funds run out and he can only build one Spider Tank every other turn. Then, using the Annihilator as a shield, occupy his spiders with your tanks while you move your artillery along the road to finish off his last Scorpion and Spider Tanks.

yay got lvl 4 on hard! lol just wait til they cant spawn spiders for 1 round, then move up....they managed only to dmg my big tank once

played through the whole game on medium, then repeated hard.....was able to finish every level quite fast (1-3 tries), but havent been able to beat lvl 4 on hard yet.......15 tries, no chance....i can only dmg the newly spawning spiders for about half their health and then they walk out and a new one spawns....

Urbansquall is a great developer and i love the games he made but i hate when he deleted Battalion:Arena it was my fav of them all

I love this style of gaming, I fell in love with it thanks to an old PS1 game called Nectaris: Military Madness. Anybody who doesn't mind tracking it down can probably get it for cheap, It's really good gameplay, using Hexagons instead of squares, and a total of 23 different units to control along with 16 campaign missions + a bonus 16 levels of thought provoking action. I really recommend it and you even have a cutscene every time you attack with a unit so you can see them clashing on the battlefield :D

There wont be any new games in the series sadly :( if you read the developers page he says he is done makin games and coming to kongregate :( so i am angry too but comments wont change that
