Some notes and tips: 1) You need to aim for golden eggs for the hard badge. I did it and when I got 100k, eggs were hatching each 12 turns, impossible without the eggs. 2) max life you can have is 40. 3) each soul counts for both skills of same color. 4) Strategy: kill all cuties red, blue and yellow, and avoid blackies at all costs. With time, eggs will hatch and create a big group of 20+ blackies. Use transform skill. If they get red, use harvest. If dont, use Vampiric Touch. Grab the eggs quickly and rush to biggest groups of yellow / blue. 5) While moving, dont care about normal eggs (-2 points) and use Jump if you go to a dead end of your big black group. Dont kill it until needed. 6) If you have black skills, use to grab eggs. 7) NEVER go for alone reds that are not in your route, as time passes will you level up, so its no good. Ok, so I got 100k easy with a small modification to Marvaddin's strategy. So read his first and instead of doing 4) on his, here is what I did (If you happen to be as unlucky as me). Yellow souls are always at a premium for me. So instead of saving Harvest for a large group of reds like he suggests, I used it to get yellows if they were in a large group. This allowed me to convert and use Vampiric Touch a lot faster on those large groups of black. Since these groups are pretty large and already give you 30+ health, there really is no point in saving harvest for them since you are maxed out at 40. My 100k came when there were 14 turns between hatchings, so it does take a little bit longer, but it pretty much makes this hard badge easy. Good luck and rate + if this helps.

I got the easy badge 10 years ago. The hard badge was haunting me all this time, but I finally make it this year. Keep trying!

After 6 failed tries last night, I decided to try again...very first game I play today I get the 100K. And that is why you never give up. In addition to the advice in the top comments, honestly you also need a bit of luck due to the random nature of the game.

@Marvaddin - This is a very solid strategy, but there is more to it than just hand-picking certain cuties to farm and to save up. When it comes down to later rounds, killing individual cuties of ANY type is very detrimental to your survivability. Even if you are killing a red cutie, you are still taking 1 turn and subtracting 1 health in exchange for 1 health back. Avoid killing individual cuties by taking the time to thoroughly plot out your path so that you can move along the edge of small groups but still be able to get to a clod of red cuties without wasting health.

I have to add to Marvvadin's tip: Should you be unable to reach an Golden Egg without losing much health, and collected enough black cuties (Yes, they ARE useful, collect them only at 28HP+ though ;D) use the Fire Blast Skill.

This game's difficulty level should be more based around the skill and strategy of the player, not the luck. Large groups of eggs touching should have a greater chance of being the same color, or something along those lines, so you don't have to rely so much on the game randomly deciding if you live or not.

When i got the badge, I was so hyped cause i kept following Marvaddin's guide and it worked when i was at low hearts left, but i will say, the only thing that i sorta disagree is to completely ignore the Blackies, not only do they appear in bunches, leading to easy harvests and touches, but they also have a potential badge saving ability, that saved my rear getting the hard badge. So i made a bad decision that could have ended my badge run, fortunately i stocked on blackies, and had enough to select any cutie on the field, thankfully i had that available or i would have lost my badge. what i'm trying to say is to not ignore the Black Cuties, but also don't collect them a ton, stick to yellow, red, and blue cuties and while gathering for those cuties, if a few Black Cuties are in your way, GET THEM.

hre's how I did: 1) use the transform powerup to change the color of a large group of cuties to make the group even bigger 2) use the vampiric touch powerup to convert the large group into HP 3) go for the golden egg which should have appeared if you managed to get a large group. use the laser if you need to. make sure you have enough time to get the golden egg before it hatch, even if it means you have to destroy regular eggs in your way.

Great tips from Marvaddin, Plaplante89 and LouWeed. My score jumped from a 40k to 90k + instantly! However, luck still plays a huge part in hitting 100k, and it seems like most of us ain't that lucky.

How to get the gold medal: 1. ignore everything smiley10 says about priority, and simply go for the colour you need the most at the time -- usually this will be yellow, blue or red; black is only ever a nice-to-have. 2. As your level goes up, stick to the edges if possible because that way you won't leave a path of death between the eggs (soon to be cuties), thus increasing your odds of a big group. 3. Enjoy, and if you do need to 'get hard', the internet caters for that too. Nice game.

Hard badge is just a little bit more than hard. Just came back to this game after a year and saw that I gave up at 95681. I almost never give up on badges that close.

Strategy games don't usually hold my attention for too long. At first, this seemed impossible and I wasn't even going to put much effort into getting the Xenocutia badge. However, the more I played, the more I found that I was actually getting into it. Eventually, I won the badge without even really keeping track of the score. It was quite satisfying too :) Only complaint: needs more achievements!
