It's getting better but there are still a few things I'd like to add. 1: A fast forward button. 2: Be able to choose how good the ai plays: easy, medium, hard or something alike. 3: I think armies on water should be able to move faster. 4: Be able to save games. Besides that great game!

Automatically switching the owner of -unowned/others- land if fully surrounded by other nation. --> I think this is a must.

It's a solid game. I think that after the first few turns, you should have 6 or 7 moves instead of 5. Also: the damage caused by attacking an occupied city/port/etc. is a bit high. The game amounts to a kamikaze attack on the enemy. I'd like to see this change to a more flexible strategy where production isn't cut so much. Excellent job.

I got my ass handed to me and I still had fun! 5/5 I freaking love it.
I do wish that everyone didn't just make a B-line straight for me right at the start but I'm used to that :/

Thank you, i have been waiting for a better version of hex empires for so long. The game is great and more opponents to fight. Awesome!

Would it be a good idea if, when your capital is taken, a new one is selected out of any cities you hold? Because it is so annoying when you take down 4 countries, about to kill the last one and it strikes at your undefended capital without you even realising there was a threat there.
That's what is the game about - defending and conquering capitals - you should find a balance between attack and defense. In chess you lose game just because your king is blocked and people see no problem with it.

Came because I loved Hex Empires 1, left because this game isn't anything at all like it.
Honestly if you wanted a successful game, simply remaking the original with better graphics would have done it.

this is a great game...but there is no incentive to keep playing it....factions....upgrades.....badges....something.....

Can't stop playing this awesome game, I am seeing armies move along and flash in my sleep! I am going to take a break from playing for a while, I am sure everybody is tired of reading my posts anyway.
P.S. Future versions definitely needs some more music to choose from.

First Hex Empire was simple, sweet and enjoyable. Sadly this is everything else. So I'll be playing the good old one.

Linux users cannot use the Unity player in the current version. The game's player prevents Linux users like me from playing the game. Please petition Unity Technologies (http://unity3d.com/company/contact) to address this.

great game, I suggest while you work on the AI, making different strategies for the different colored AI's to follow, like taking as much land as possible or simply rushing your capitol. I feel that making different strategies will keep this game interesting because your not positive what the enemy is going to do

pink spaces are not where they can move in two turns, it is your territory, meaning you can move soldiers through it, the amount of time is based of distance and terrain. So it could take two moves for your soldiers to get there, or five depending how far it is.

5 brave scouts set out on a little dingy to a new town, 41 days later 2500 soldiers took that dingy and conquered the nation of Violatnam

I would suggest less damage to production when factories and cities are captured. The game quickly becomes a suicide mission because you are forced to kamikaze enemy territory. All attack, no defense. All in all, it's an excellent beta.

That moment when an enemy takes a capital to your surprise and a huge explosion spree goes off and almost makes you shit your pants.

WTF?! I swear the AI cheats! Their armies' strength doubles or more than doubles mid-movement, even though they took no towns or fought a single battle. I'm through with this game.
If they double in size it is not cheating... they just used their Speech option. They can make pacts and use speech same as you can. So in fact all are on equal footing rules wise. The game difficulty depends on your starting capital and that changes every color and every map.

Cities and factories that get blown up produce fewer soldiers. The key is to destroy the enemy's facilities while keeping yours intact.

OK... After playing with the new update a bit, I find this game to be far too easy. The original had different modes (mostly by boosting AI production I believe). Please implement something similar.

First of all I would like to say is that really hyped about Hex Empires 3 since I enjoyed 2. Also ... BEST INTRO EVER!
