This was a mind numbing one. Half the challenges were completely arbitrary. rest of the time just reading a story. drove me nuts to watch the text slowly print.

Tip: press page down instead of escape. It will scroll through the text WAY faster (almost instantly)! I wish I found out about that earlier. I still got the badge, but barely (1.5 minutes left). I appreciate the effort to write a whole story, but I just can't care less about it. It's so long and dry, there's no voice acting and the graphics are basic.

This game took me an hour to beat with a walkthrough and literally holding escape for 40-50 minutes. Imagine how long it would take to beat this game while reading every single line of text. I beat the game 1.5 minutes before the BOTD expired because it froze once and I had to do the soldier puzzle again. I got more adrenaline from the feeling of not getting the BOTD after wasting an hour than from the game itself.

This is a fine game, and more importantly it works. Just I'd prefer if badge of the day games to take less than 4 hours. At least make it an impossible.

I wish I could enjoy these kind of games, but I don't. I ended up using a walkthrough and skipping through all dialogue. I don't have time to play this game manually. Literally. I was only an hour away from the BOTD expiring and this game looks like it would take 2 hours to finish by myself with all the reading.

You know there's absolutely no "game" in your "story" when you pass THREE checkpoints and you have seen absolutely only text, nothing else than text, just text, the mouse remains there still.

At least we could get this badge normally. Refreshing. Was rather long for the badge, but after playing many from this series, it had some fun and interesting moments to discover. Still very lacking on the grammar, though.

it was one of the worst ever!

to avoid that random guessing as reading and following is impossible

So you're telling me I need to spend a few hours to get a medium BotD? Seriously? I've seen hard badges that are less time-wasting than this one!

TEXT ONLY WALKTHROUGH, BECAUSE SCREW THIS SERIES AND THIS GAME: moshimushi.net/2019/11/03/medieval-cop-9-song-silence-part-2-walkthrough/

Why are there save points between portions of the story that are only dialogue? It's wild that this game takes 45+ minutes to complete and the interactive sections make up about 5 to 10 minutes of that time.

I'm disgusted by this obscenely boring and useless series. I'm only thankful for the page down fast scroll option. Kongregate should avoid badging this series.

This is interactive fiction so take it or leave it. With the death of Flash, I guess we're going to have to get used to these "games" being badge of the day.

I can only imagine the incredible struggle it was to find that, considering that it was literally the 1st result on google.

If you don't want to play the game, then I guess you also prefer games for brain-dead patients who are blind and don't know how to speak to understand a good story... Give up on the badge too!

Only non-Flash game of the week, and then it's from the absolutely worst series of junk games ever on Kong. Goddammit it.

Only since getting into game design myself recently have I realized why this series looked familiar: it's made using RPG Maker assets. Not sure which version, though.
