I know people tend to dislike Dregg, and I'll admit that I can see why his acerbic wit might grate on people who aren't used to such characters -- but it's situations like this one, where Dregg's fighting for someone else's benefit (even when that other person is his enemy), that we can see the deeper motivations behind his actions. He's a kind guy at heart, whose kindness is borne from his own suffering... although he's not always the best at showing how he feels, beyond pouring himself into his work.

Kongregate existed for like a decade. Then garbage games like this came out, like 20 per year. All of them got badged. Player base plummeted. Related? Nah. Keep badging these cow pies.

@Naud1234 All you do is whine about these types of games. It is understandable to wanting to get the BOTD, but you shouldnt trash talk the games you didnt like just because of this.
This game is like AA, DR, YTTD.
It is ok to not like these types of games. It is ok to want to get the BOTD. But it is not okay to whine about a games "shittiness" due to it being BOTD.
The combat is certainly not good, and its mainly because this is a text based series, and there wasnt as much effort into it & this game was at the beginning of the series. But it is easy enough with a good strategy. It can be frustrating sometimes and id been on stealth ones.
But youre literally complaining about a person you didnt bother looking at their name, losing on purpose which you didnt even know, due to a reason you dont even know. And if damage you dealt went from 60 -> 15 and her max HP LOWERED after getting a "particular" note which made felicia "understand" show you will lose the fight, idk what would.

This game is epic! It's like a retro Final Fantasy but better. Modern Final Fantasy games got nothing on this! Beautiful 3D graphics and real time fights? *spits* This game got a much better thing. It's called turn based fighting. Sounds lame? Well, you haven't heard of the special attacks yet. You can attack twice, attack thrice randomly, attack all thrice or demolish one opponent except for the overpowered boss you're not supposed to beat. You can't heal outside of battle, so you're screwed in the next battle. The enemy types are diverse, like bandit and boss. That's it. No fancy schmancy magic either. Truly epic. 5 stars. /s Actually 3 stars for the effort.

It sucks that I can't use potions outside of battle and I lose almost or more HP I just healed when I get attacked by 2 let alone 3 enemies. At least healing outside of battle would buy me some time before having to heal again.

If you don't care about the story, but still want to do it without cheating:
1. Start with Esc/Options/Always Dash = On.
2. Whenever they are talking just push down Enter.
3. Push boulders with Enter, use levers, get the keys for the doors. When you need to "jump" use the last jumping "arrow". In fights always Guard until you have 60 Stress for the Furry Special. If you are low on HP just use a Potion. You get as many potions/battle as enemies you fight.
4. Next section use V to hide. When you enter the room with 2 ppl walk to the back of the guy.
5. The numbers are: 2, 666, 0.
Congratulation! You completed the game normally.

This game is absolutely awful. If I could give it zero I would. Why are there so many random save points that do NOTHING to advance the game? And the library section is garbage.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Who was the first one to come out and say that these overbadged, overrated games are BS? I want to give them a Medal of Honor, an Oscar, every BOTD, a heartfelt hug and the Nobel Peace Price.

"Hm, I don't know if the combat is shitty enough. Maybe I should follow it up with a completely broken stealth section too. Yeah, bloody brilliant! Then NOBODY will play the other games and they'll be 'Best of-' games for sure!"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm sorry, but I don't know what's worse, the completely overtuned fights that force you to start from the beginning should you fail once, or the obnoxious slow moving stealth sections complete with an almost-jump scare when you fail. This is the worst of the entire series.

"Reduced difficulty of Felicia Battles" my ass! You were too lazy to even give us the option to use potions outside of battle, something that LITERALLY EVERY RPG BEFORE YOU has allowed you to do! This is why later "Medieval Cop" games managed to con their way into the "Best of-" lists -- because only the guys that 5-star everything even bothered to click the link while the rest of the world avoided all future titles like the plague.

i will rate this 2 stars only cus its SLIGHTLY less boring then last part i was playing. But for real, this series appears way too often as BotD, and even worse, it will happen more often these days when all our lovely flash games are not included anymore in this system :/
Just damn, we need more cool non-flash games here or we will drown in this kind of crap.

The battles are insane. You lose as much health as you regain. You can only add health in a battle. You can't get health & attack in the same turn.

These aren't games, you literally just press 1 button for about 20 minutes. There's barely ANY interaction. Why the hell these get badges are beyond me.

@vadhaghl: Yes and no. The map id (33 in this case) will be different each time, but the other steps should be the same as long as the ending event is triggered via autorun event like it is in this one.

Kongregate has phases where a series of point and click adventure games becomes wildly popular and each new segment, no matter how bad, gets a badge and endless praise. They're usually a mild diversion at best that becomes an irritating slog.
These games are no exception, sadly. I get that there's some interesting writing in there at times, but I really just do not care, and the gameplay is too deficient to draw my attention. Read Aesica's comment, it was certainly more informative and interesting following those steps than the game itself could ever have been.
Also, people being mean to each other isn't inherently funny. It can be, but there's no overlap between the cruelty and actual wit in the games.

been debating on whether the dotd is worth this. so far I skipped the last 2 or 3 of these medieval cop ones. they give this genre a bad reputation. the other ones like this are so much fun. these are just boring.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The only decent part of these games is that it's easy. But oh my god please just stop splitting them up into a trillion different games, it gets into botd so often that it makes me sick to my core. You could make all of this more bearable if you just made 3-4 games instead of splitting those 3-4 games into 30-40 parts. It's a shameI can't vote 0/5

Tired of slogging through these cutscene nightmares for badges as much as I am? Okay here's what you do. 1. In firefox, go ahead and start the game (hold pagedown to get through the initial dialog) and then press F12 to open the debug console. Make sure the "console" tab is selected. 2. Click on the iframe selector (upper right area of the console window) and select the game's iframe instead of the main window as the new target. 3. Now, in the console, type $gamePlayer.reserveTransfer(33, 0, 0) and hit enter. If you selected the correct iframe, it should whisk you away to the end of the game after a bit more dialog. Collect your badge and then spend the next 30 minutes doing something you actually want to.

I have hated, and will continue to hate, every one of these games I've played for a badge. I keep playing them thinking, surely there can't be that many more. That was like 20 games ago.

Thank you Thalain for summing up my opinion of these "games": Cutscene, cutscene, cutscene, a few mostly identical battles with some walking, cutscene, cutscene, sneaking around a bit, cutscene, cutscene, cutscene, cutscene, a simple question, cutscene, cutscene, 2nd question, cutscene, cutscene, 3rd question, cutscene, cutscene, cutscene, badge.

And where exactly in the instructions does it say that clicking on "v" will make you invisible? Essential to get through the library. Only got that by reading back through the comments. Well, you might like to vote this up just so everyone knows what to do.

It sux I cannot save at intermediate points, one mistake due the bugginess of the game and I have to start a section from scratch... clearly VasantJ wanted 1 star

Well, Doryzitter, I didn't get the reference because I never did a genocide run on Undertale, but considering "You're gonna have a bad time" is the most quoted thing from Undertale, I think that is probably what you are referencing. Considering you seem to have played through it on a genocide run, I think it is YOU who is gonna have a bad time...

When Helene said she felt something crawling on her, I immediately thought, "It's your sins!!!!!" Somebody better get that reference or I'll give them a bad time.....

I thought I was doing okay in the "fight" even though I dealt abysmal damage and had to use a potion almost every turn, but then he healed himself.
