Great game! Sériously! Some of Pheonix Wright in that! Anyway I woud have given 5 if There was some preload of the data (music, images, etc.) because I had to reload the game several times since one thing or another wouldn't load.
Looking foward to play the third game, though.
Hi, thanks for playing. I am trying my best for preloading assets but the software itself doesn't support it that much and it is honestly the bane of the series. I have contacted the software developers, hopefully they can help us with this problem.

No way to review the evidence before answering questions(without going through long cutscenes), ridiculous plot twists coming out of nowhere and court questioning, not a single enjoyable character, game engine not suited for game. 2/5

That was one of the funniest plots I've seen in a Kongregate game for a while now. Great work! There are some downsides, like the grammar or loading time, but I think it has some real potential to become a masterpiece. XD

The grammar is awful. A game that requires reading like this should put proofreading on top of its list.
However, the plot is funny, it also has good music and visual. 3.5. More if you can spellcheck in the next episode

This game is horrible I don't get why people are all saying it's perfect. For example, during the cross examination he says one of them is lying. The basis for that is that the girl said she was dragged there by friends and upon selecting her the only explanation was that "her answer was different from the others". What?! There was nothing saying she wasn't a student and she could have very well have been dragged there by her friends. There was nothing to base the correct answer on. It's like this for the entire game. None of it is realistic. It's not a detective game it's a guessing game and story.

Get to the point. If the game has no fun gameplay I could give a crap about the plot. Took too long to get to any kind of interesting gameplay so I skipped the plot. It has good visual and audio assets though. 2/5

The length on this one is much better (I didn't find this one too short), the grammar is still bad (Maybe get a friend to proof-read?) except from these points a very good game aswell, and deserving of a high score too!

this game takes a lot of time, even though story is short. black screens, waiting times, slow dialogs, etc. it took more than 30m of my tine while it could be reduced to 10m or less 2/5

This game fills me with far more joy than I expected. Thank you for your efforts, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Not much interactive but cool. This system migh be interesting on a wider scale, thus if we could select evidences during a debate.

More... More... MORE!!!!
All jokes aside though probably one of the best mini detective games I've ever played. Balances humor, intrigue, and brain teasing very well. I like the fact that you can review evidence at any time except when it's time to use it. makes it more realistic feeling. a good 'Cop/Debater' wouldn't be rifling through notes when making his speeches after all. There's definitely room for growth though, Can't wait to see what you do with the series.

Great concept, kind of a mix between Phoenix Wright and an Rpg, there were a lot of spelling errors and transitions between scenes took a long time but other than that it was a good game

i only lost 1 life (on walking to the true criminal, because i did not go and check all the profiles just before chosing) as it was way obvious all along. That said, however, the idea is very nice although i too agree the " going through 10 minutes of dialogue without being able to skip it" part takes away a lot of the fun i had... and i went through an hour for completing the game ;-) 3/5 stars for me

One of the better interactive story games that I have played. I also love the detectives depressed routine. Looking forward to the next episode.

Its good for a RPG maker game but could subvert the tropes more like interaction with objects some give a good result and some bad. Don't require all objects in an area to be interacted with to continue- screw the player. Also make you solve the puzzle all by yourself so its less of a movie- the way to do that is by organising the debate using the inventory.

THIS IS THE BEST. GAME. EVER. Please just exist, I desire nothing more. THis was so fun. I loved the fight with logic and arguments and finding clues and the system of walking around and the characters and the plot- the mystery itself - and the save system - just everything was done so well! I love this game!

Awesome game, my only complaint is that it isn't longer. I was honestly slightly saddened when it ended because I just wanted to keep playing

This has to be one of the best game series that I have ever played. Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to the next one.

AWESOME GAME! I loved the "medieval debates" battles. MORE!!!! XD It would be nice to be bale to review evidence though. Also, I felt that the save system was not very necessary, except for the two debates. Also, though I run this on chrome, it still lags :( But that's my problem! Great game! Can't wait for episode 3: The Princess and the Grump XD I definitely feel an Ace Attorney vibe from this. Also, this may be too late but I feel that the name medieval cop isn't really appropriate; maybe Justice Dregg? Then again, it;s your choice, not mine :) The music is also fantastic! Good work! 5/5 for me!
Hi, thanks for your views on the game. "Medieval Cop" was a unique name and was eye catching in my opinion. Justice Dregg sounds as if the main character is all about justice, but we know it's not. XD. I will try to implement your opinions on the game since many people have suggested the same thing. :D

For something done in RPG/Game Maker as a quick, fun game with a quirky "fighting mechanic", it's actually pretty good! It was a good laugh and the debates are a lot of fun!
Don't be scared to make it a bit harder next time, the game is kinda too forgiving even when it lets you save before each fight.
I'll give you 5/5, keep 'em coming!

I thought at first that I've played the first part a few years ago. Then I found out that the game I thought was the first part of this is a completely different game (but also made in RPG Maker) - Berathen: Spirit Detective.
OMG, you are right! They do handle similarly, but considering how big this world is, there was a chance of someone having already thought of this. Thanks for playing.

Dear God, this game takes wayyyyyyy too long to get through the intro. Been holding down the 'z' key for 10 minutes now and they are STILL talking! Wth man??
